Morfologia del Trauerfall nel «Wozzeck» di Berg e Büchner
In Berg’s musical drama, the military attendant Wozzeck kills his lover Marie after discovering that she betrayed him. Then he commits suicide, leaving their only son orphaned. Loss as a mournful catastrophe is masterfully prepared, in both Büchner’s hypotext and Berg’s recoding, through some narratologically relevant solutions: mainly the treatment of diegetic temporality which in the mimetic structure is assumed as a strategy of repetition. Through a series of devices that ‘figurally’ anticipate the outcome of the plot, Wozzeck’s storyworld seems to be ruled by a class predestination per se problematic from an ideological point of view, since it poses the issue of compromise with non-dialectical forms of irrationalism. Still, it is by means of this figural treatment of the genettian «order» of the story that the drama succeeds in the effort to render the fatal position not only of an individual, but of a community whose time is fixed in the hierarchies of a technomorphic society that survives by feeding on forms of oppression.
testuali legati all’ascolto, disseminati dagli scritti
The aim of the essay is to examines the functions

musical imagination – in Calvino’s literature. The
thematic persistence of some textual motifs related to listening is to be found in the autobiographical narratives of Passaggi obbligati, as in
the collection of I cinque sensi, or Cosmicomiche
and some important critical contribution as I

Measurement of corneal thickness using Pentacam HR versus Nidek CEM-530 specular microscopy.
Objective To compare corneal thickness (CT) measurements using the CEM-530 (Nidal, Gamagori, Japan) and Pentacam HR (Oculus, Wetzlar, Germany). Methods The CT of 209 healthy subjects (209 right eyes) aged 24 to 89 years (71.35 ± 10.72 years) was measured at the corneal apex (CA), pupil center (PC), and thinnest point (TP) with the Pentacam HR and at the corneal center with the CEM-530 in random order at the same time of day. Results A good correlation but statistically significant difference was found between the CEM-530 and Pentacam HR measurements at the CA (6.10 ± 8.12 µm, R2 = 0.8947), PC (7.46 ± 8.57 µm, R2 = 0.8826), and TP (12.44 ± 10.04 µm, R2 = 0.8392). Comparison of the two devices produced the following regression formulas: y = 0.8859x + 57.644 for the CA, y = 0.8852x +56.657 for the PC, and y = 0.8557x + 68.148 for the TP, where x is the CT obtained with the CEM-530 and y is that obtained with the Pentacam HR. Conclusions These findings indicate that the CEM-530 produces a thicker corneal measurement than the Pentacam HR. The herein-proposed correcting factors are needed to reliably compare these devices
Energy Performance of Cool-colors and Roofing Coatings in Reducing the Free Solar Gains during the Heating Season: Results of an In-Field Investigation☆
Abstract Today, it is not well-known the impact of cool roofs during heating season in balanced climates. Proposed study tries to quantify the increase of energy demands of buildings characterized by high-reflective and high-emissive coatings of roof, by means of experiments and numerical simulations. Three coatings are investigated with different solar absorptance and thermal emittance. The experiments have been carried out at the living lab of the University of Sannio, a full-scale test-room, provided with a large flexibility in terms of variability of the thermal envelope and air-conditioning system. Moreover, numerical evaluations of heating and annual energy consumptions are presented
