Test of Antidiarrheal Effect of Pomegranate (Punica Granatum L) Leaf Infusion to the Mature Male White Mice (Rattus Norvegicus) Which Induced by Oleum Ricini
Pomegranate (punica grantum L) leaf has been used in traditional medication which potential to cure diarrhea, because it contains of tannin compound. However, the application is only based on empirical experience. This research aims to know antidiarrheal effect and the most effective concentration from pomegranate leaf infusion which affected as antidiarrheal. This research type was experimental research by using 15 mice as research subject which divided in 5 test group, group which given by pomegranate leaf infusion with concentration 12%w/v, 24%w/v, 36%w/v. Positive control group which given by suspension of Loperamide HCl and negative control given by distilled water. The solutions and induction were given by per oral. After the treatment, it was conducted by observation and also records effect which occurred to each mice using many test parameters such as diarrhea frequency, feces consistency, and diarrhea duration. To analyze research result, it was used by ANAVA test and continued by using SNK test. The research result showed that from three concentrations (12%w/v, 24%w/v, 36%w/v) of pomegranate (punica granatum L) leaf infusion which tested to the white mice, it could be concluded that in the concentration 36%w/v showed the most effective effect due to it was equal with loperamide HCl. ANTHROPOMETRIC MEASUREMENT OF METABOLIC AGE USING NECK CIRCUMFERENCE
Excessive fat accumulation in the obese body causes chronic low-grade inflammation. The continuous occurrence will affect health, which may lead to damage to cell metabolism related to metabolic age. Therefore, anthropometric application by measuring neck circumference (NC) and body mass index (BMI) was performed. The aim of this study was to determine NC cut-off which can be used to identify the increase of metabolic age in an individual. This study is a diagnostic study using cross sectional design using subjects who met the criteria needed for this study (n = 82). BMI and NC anthropometric measurements were performed in this study. Metabolic age was measured using Bioelectrical Impedance Analyzer (BIA). Data were analyzed using 2 x 2 diagnostic table and Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve to obtain Area Under Curve (AUC). The results showed that the highest BMI was obese (65.8%) with the most common age of 30-57 years old. The result of ROC-AUC NC on metabolic age showed that AUC value of NC measurement was 0.77, cut-off ≥ 33 cm, sensitivity 71.2%, and specificity 69.6%. EFEK ESKTRAK TANAMAN YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP MORTALITAS LARVA INSTAR III Musca domestica
Chromolaena odorata and Lantana camara plants can be used as natural insecticides to control fly populations. Not only flies as vectors must be controlled but also their larvae are important for depopulation. This study aimed to examine the effect of different plant extracts on the mortality of third instar larvae of Musca domestica. A total of 36 petri dishes were used in this study, each containing 20 third instar larvae. Each extract treatment was divided into concentration levels of 15%, 30%, 45%, and 60%, and the control without extract was given. The extract was given using the feeding assay method. The larval mortality was observed for 24 hours after exposure to the extract. The results showed that concentrations of 15%, 30%, 45% C. odorata had higher mortality rates than L. camara, which was about 6.25,10.75, and 5. The average mortality of larvae by exposure to extracts of C. odorata and L. camara is almost the same value, namely 6,25, and 6 at the 60% concentration level. PENGARUH EKSTRAK DAUN C.ODORATA TERHADAP PROSES KESEMBUHAN LUKA INSISI PADA TIKUS SPRAGUE-DAWLEY
Chromolaena odorata (kirinyu/sufmuti) is a species of weed which utilized as traditional medicine especially for wound healing. This research was conducted to study the histological effect of C.odorata leaf extract to healing process of incision wound in Sprague-Dawley rats. A total of 45 males - 6 weeks of Sprague Dawley rats at 150-200g body weight were utilized in this study. Those rats were divided into five groups, basis ointment, Betadine 10%, C.odorata 5%, C.odorata 10%, and C.odorata 20%. All groups of rats were given a 3 cm long linear incision at dermal depth on the backs. The extract and medication were topically applied once a day for ten days. 3 rats of each group were euthanized in day 2, 6, and 10 after incision. Subsequently, skin tissue was obtained and fixated in 10% buffer formalin for Hematocixylin - Eosin staining. The measured variables were wound healing both macroscopical and microscopical figures from day 0 to day 10 after incision. Data were analyzed descriptively. Microscopic observation showed that various concentrations of C.odorata extracts affected wound healing process. C.odorata Extract is allegedly able to stimulate wound healing by increasing fibroblasts for re-epithelization
Gambaran Karakteristik dan Status Gizi Anak yang Melakukan Vaksinasi Covid-19 di UPT Puskesmas Kayon Kota Palangka Raya
Achievement of the COVID 19 vaccination target, especially for children who received dose 2, has only reached 58.7%. One of the obstacles to achieving the vaccination target is the delay in vaccination because the child is sick. Health conditions at the time of vaccination are sought to be healthy and optimal. Nutritional status has an important role in determining the body's immune response. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics and nutritional status of children vaccinated against COVID-19 at UPT Puskesmas Kayon, Palangka Raya City. This type of research is a descriptive method, with a cross-sectional design, using a purposive sampling technique, for 3 months from July to September 2022. The research instruments used were a questionnaire and examination of nutritional status. The results showed that the number of respondents was 40 people, 52.5% female and 47.5% male. Age distribution from 6-11 years. Vaccination history at dose 1 20% and dose 2 80%. The nutritional status of the dominant respondents had a normal nutritional status of 67.5%, 20% less nutrition and 12.5% more nutritional status. Korelasi Usia Metabolik terhadap Indeks Massa Tubuh
Excessive fat accumulation in the body causes an increase in Body Mass Index (BMI). Increased BMI and comorbidities affect the metabolic rate. Metabolic age was influenced by the individual metabolic rate. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of metabolic age to BMI increasement. This cross-sectional study used a purposive sampling method to obtain 82 male and female subjects. Subjects were measured for BMI and metabolic age. Collected data was analyzed univariately and bivariate correlatively. The result showed a significant correlation between metabolic age and BMI (p = 0,001) with r = 0,812. HUBUNGAN ANTARA ASUPAN MAKRONUTRIEN DENGAN KEJADIAN OVERWEIGHT DAN OBESITAS PADA ANAK USIA 6-12 TAHUN DI KOTA PALANGKA RAYA
Latar Belakang: Akumulasi lemak dalam tubuh yang terjadi secara berlebihan akan menyebabkan overweight dan obesitas. Hal ini akibat ketidakseimbangan asupan energi yang utama yaitu asupan makronutrien yang terdiri dari karbohidrat, protein, dan lemak
Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara asupan makronutrien dengan kejadian overweight dan obesitas pada anak usia 6-12 tahun di kota Palangka Raya.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional dengan responden sebanyak 80 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengukuran yang dilakukan yaitu pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan untuk mendapatkan IMT/U dan BB/U. Dilakukan pengisian kuisioner Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQFFQ) oleh orang tua siswa untuk mengetahui asupan makronutrien yang dikonsumsi dalam satu bulan terakhir. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara asupan karbohidrat (p=0,718), lemak (p=0,754), protein (p=0,159) dengan overweight dan obesitas menurut IMT/U. Tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara asupan karbohidrat (p=0,805), lemak (p=1,000), protein (p=0,919 dengan overweight dan obesitas menurut BB/U.
Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara asupan makronutrien dengan kejadian overweight dan obesitas pada anak usia 6-12 tahun di kota Palangka Raya

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is hydroquinone in whitening creams in Kupang. The method used in this research is thin layer chromatography, where the value of the sample compared Rf Rf value of raw materials. If the Rf value of the sample and the same raw material, the positivecontaining hydroquinone. From the results obtained show that the price of Rf of cream bleach with Swallow and Kelly brand different from the value of Rf hydroquinone. So it can be concluded that the two samples tested all showed negative results that do not contain hydroquinone
HUBUNGAN ANTARA BERAT PLASENTA IBU PREEKLAMPSIA DENGAN BERAT BAYI LAHIR DI RSUD dr. DORIS SYLVANUS KOTA PALANGKA RAYA TAHUN 2019
Latar Belakang: Preeklampsia merupakan salah satu dari penyebab utama kematian ibu. Pada preeklampsia terjadi kelainan pembuluh darah plasenta ibu yang menyebabkan hipoksia kronis dan gangguan nutrisi janin sehingga mempengaruhi berat bayi yang akan dilahirkan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara berat plasenta ibu preeklampsia dengan berat bayi lahir di RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya Tahun 2019. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 35 sampel plasenta ibu preeklampsia yang melahirkan di RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya yang diambil dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata berat plasenta ibu preeklampsia adalah 499,4 gram (SD = 146,685) dan rata-rata berat bayi lahir adalah 2.652,43 gram (SD = 481,341). Berdasarkan dari analisis hasil uji korelasi Pearson berat plasenta ibu preeklampsia memiliki hubungan dengan berat bayi lahir di RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Kota Palangka Raya Tahun 2019 dengan p < 0.001 dan r = 0,679. Kesimpulan: Berat plasenta pada ibu preeklampsia memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan berat bayi lahir di RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Kota Palangka Raya Tahun 2019 dengan tingkat hubungan yang kuat
