    Get PDF
During the war of resistance against the US, to save the country 21 years of hardship for the Vietnamese people, the year 1972 held a particularly important position, creating a major turning point of the war with decisive victories in both South and North Vietnam, both military, political and diplomatic struggles. Due to the heavy defeat, the US imperialists were forced to return to the negotiating table, sign the Paris Agreement, end the war, and restore peace in Vietnam. With this victory, the Vietnamese army and people fulfilled President Ho Chi Minh’s instructions to “fight for the US to get out”, to “fight for the puppets to get out”, and to regain independence and reunify the country.  Article visualizations

Synthesis, structural characterization, and application of N-doped TiO2 photocatalyst under visible-light irradiation

    Get PDF
N-doped TiO2 nanomaterials were prepared with the sol-gel method. The structure and properties of the materials were characterized by using XRD, UV-Vis, SEM, EDX, and IR techniques. The optimal dose of ammonium chloride for doping is 600 mg. The optical absorption edge of N-TiO2 displays a redshift, and a long tail occurs in the presence of nitrogen in the material. Thereby, N-TiO2 may exhibit improved absorption properties under visible light and the solar irradiation. The photocatalytic activity was investigated on the degradation of rhodamine B. The optimal amount of the photocatalyst is 1.8 g/L under visible light

With the rapid development of the Information Technology industry, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are becoming the most popular keywords in the modern world. Companies around the world as well as in Vietnam have been finding powerful applications of Artificial Intelligence in their daily operation, especially in human resource management and development. AI application not only helps organizations to optimize their processes and increase performance, but also creates a flexible working environment and a better experience for employees. However, along with those benefits, the application of AI also creates new challenges, requiring organizations to consider and prepare carefully before applying new technology. This article will delve into the benefits and challenges of applying AI in human resource management, thereby helping businesses form and develop appropriate strategies in the future

Effects of different nutrient solutions on growth and flower quality of gerbera (Gerbera jamesonii) grown in hydroponic close system

    Get PDF
The nutrient solution is the decisive factor for the growth and development of hydroponic plants. This study was conducted to determine the effect of five nutrient solutions, namely, Hoagland, Knop, Hydro Umat F, BKFAST, and Bio-Life, on the growth and development of gerbera (Gerbera jamesonii) in the hydroponic system. The results show that Hydro Umat F is the most suitable solution for planting gerbera in terms of plant height, number of leaves, leaf size, and root volume. In addition, the flower yield of the gerbera plants nourished on Hydro Umat F is also the highest, with 8.7 flowers per plant after five months in the hydroponic system. The flowers have a diameter of 9.8 cm and natural durability of 19.67 days. Meanwhile, gerbera plants stop growing after 15 days in the Bio-Life solution and 30 days in the Knop solution

The trend of socio-economic development, the industrialization and modernization of the country, and the industrial revolution 4.0 have led to many changes today. Breakthroughs align with the above context in the fields, especially education and training. In particular, the lecturers are one of the decisive factors for the success of education and training. In addition, science and technology have made great strides, placing strict requirements on high-quality technology and human resources. Therefore, the lecturers in general and at technologyand pedagogical universities must be developed according to the competency approach. Thus, meeting the training process's requirements creates high-quality technologyhuman resources. In recent years, the development of lecturers has been paid special attention by the technologyand pedagogical universities of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs and achieved specific results. However, there are still many things that could be improved. Limitations: The specific competency framework of the lecturers has not been developed, the faculty capacity development has not been focused, the recruitment and use of lecturers are still ineffective, the appointment of lecturers going to study to improve qualifications still has many shortcomings, there are no appropriate sanctions to manage lecturers, especially highly qualified lecturers; The examination and evaluation of lecturers are not focused, the pressure on lecturers to train themselves is not high, the screening of cadres lacks a basis. Based on the current situation of developing lecturers at the technologyand pedagogical universities of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, the article proposes some solutions to improve the effectiveness of this work

FRESHMAN EFL LEARNERS’ ANXIETY IN SPEAKING CLASSES AND COPING STRATEGIES

This study aims to investigate what speaking anxiety freshman EFL learners encountered in their classes and what strategies they used to reduce their anxiety. A mixed methods approach was employed to collect the data, including a questionnaire following the quantitative method and individual semi-structured interviews following the qualitative method. The participants were 185 freshman EFL learners at several universities in the Mekong Delta. The combination of the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale developed by Horwitz, Horwitz & Cope (1986) and the theories about three kinds of anxiety proposed by Ellis (1994) was adapted to measure freshman EFL learners’ kinds of speaking anxiety in classes. Additionally, the five categories of coping strategies in Kondo and Ling (2004) were adapted to measure the participants’ coping strategies for reducing their speaking anxiety. The results of the study showed that the participants encountered all three kinds of speaking anxiety including trait anxiety, specific-situation anxiety, and state anxiety in classes. Furthermore, the study also indicated five kinds of strategies utilized by the participants to reduce their anxiety in speaking class namely preparation strategies, relaxation strategies, positive thinking strategies, peer-seeking strategies, and resignation strategies. From the results, it was also indicated that preparation strategies were used more frequently than the other strategies by the participants in speaking classes.  Article visualizations
