Biofuels are a wide ranged of fuels which are in some way derives  from biomass. Biofuels are gaining increased public and scientific attention, driven by  factored such as oil price spikes, the need for increased energies securities and concern over greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels. Biofuels have become particularly appealing to developing countries because of their potentially to stimulate economics development in rural area and eradicate poverty through the recreates of employment opportunities and increased incomes in agricultural sector

: In this project work the simulation of heat transfer and the temperature curve in the furnace is computed out using Fluent and fluent software. Comparison of temperature profiles of the material in the furnace using constant temperature heat source and linearly varying temperature of the heat source for unsteady state is done. Also the time for temperature to become steady is compared. The material used in the furnace is aluminum and conduction is the mode of heat transfer, the side walls are adiabatic and maintained at ambient temperature. Also the density variation and solidification-melting curve of material filled inside are compared for both conditions. The Pocess used is a heat treatment process most of the heat treatment process uses furnaces to perform the melting operation therefore we choosed annealing process to be used in this analysis process . FLUENT is a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software package to simulate fluid problems. It uses the finite-volume method to solve the governing equations for a fluid. It provides the capability to use different physical models such as incompressible or compressible, in viscid or viscous, laminar or turbulent, etc. Geometry and MESH generation is done using FLUENT which is the preprocessor bundled with FLUENT

Micro turbines are a relatively new type of combustion turbine that produces both heat and electricity on a small scale. Micro turbines offer an efficient and clean solution to direct mechanical drive markets such as compression and air-conditioning. This report focuses on the design and development of a micro turbine driven by compressed nitrogen gas. The available literature regarding the design aspects of micro turbine were reviewed in detail. Gas turbine cycle and operation of micro turbine was studied and reported. The turbine blades and nozzles were designed with the help of Fluent software using a given set of cylindrical coordinates. The turbine has a radial inlet and axial outlet. A proper meshing scheme was used to mesh the turbine and nozzle assembly. CFD analysis was carried out by Fluent software to get the velocity vectors using a set of suitable inputs

Ultrasonic Assisted Biodiesel Production From Waste Cooking Oil And Study Of Performance Characteristics In A Single Cylinder Diesel Engine

The rapid expansion of both human settlements and the spaces they occupy is largely attributable to the widespread availability and widespread use of automobiles, industrial machinery, and other forms of cutting-edge technology. Which result from our use of the abundant fossil fuels found in the Earth's crust. As the price of crude oil continues to rise in response to rising global demand, several governments are exploring alternate fuel sources. Use of crude oil byproducts like motor spirit and high-speed diesel has a negative impact on the environment, which is only one of many reasons why governments are searching for cleaner energy sources. Many experts are now investigating the potential of biodiesel as a best alternative to high-speed diesel in order to conserve our planet for future generations, who must be free from earth exploitation for crude oil. For my project, I used ultrasonic methods to refine used cooking oil into biodiesel. Many eateries have leftover cooking oil that they discard after use. Oils like palm oil and coconut oil are the mainstays of the culinary world. In order to make biodiesel, we are utilizing palm oil in our project experiment. In addition to the photographic washing procedure, we are also considering the transesterification method
