    Terjadinya masa pandemi covid-19 dan tuntutan perkembangan teknologi pada era revolusi industri mengharuskan seorang pendidik mampu berinovasi dalam mengemas proses belajar mengajar agar lebih efisien dan menarik. Proses pembelajaran harus mengutamakan keterampilan dan dituntut harus menekankan aspek-aspek kreativitas dan inovasi, berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah, komunikasi dan kolaborasi. Blended Learning bisa menjadi salah satu alternatif dan strategi yang efektif dilakukan di perguruan tinggi. Sebuah inovasi pembelajaran dengan tujuan utamanya memberikan kesempatan bagi berbagai karakteristik agar terjadi proses belajar mandiri, berkelanjutan, belajar sepanjang hayat sehingga belajar akan menjadi efektif, lebih efisien, menarik dan menyenangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi blended learning sebagai inovasi pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid-19 bagi pendidikan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah study literature dari berbagai jurnal dengan memperoleh data di pustaka, mengelompokkan sumber, dan menyusun bahan penelitian kemudian dikaji dan ditarik suatu kesimpulan.     The Conceptual Metaphor Analysis in the Song Lyrics “Is You” by Jay Chang (2020)

    The objective of this study research is to investigate the manner in which metaphors are communicated in song lyrics through the application of conceptual metaphor theory, which consists of source and target data and aims to clarify how abstract concepts are conceptualized and comprehended. By employing a descriptive qualitative research method and conceptual theory, this study achieves coherent and systematic findings. The data used is a song from Jay Chang entitled "Is You". The data produced in this research comprises metaphors that have the potential to aid in the creation of vivid, realistic, and memorable imagery in the composition of songs that symbolize elaborate emotional experiences or concepts. The results show that the categorization of target domains found in the song is three, namely, Romantic Relationships, Mental Imagery or Memory, and Difficult Relationships.     When the Future is not what it used to be: Lessons from the Western European Experience to Forecasting Education and Training in Transition Economies

    In an era of rapid technological change, information exchange, and emergence of knowledge-intensive industries it is critical to be able to identify the future skill needs of the labour market. Growing unemployment in EU member states and pre-accession countries in Eastern Europe combined with technological changes which make the skills of a significant number of workers obsolescent each year demand adequate knowledge of medium- and long-term demand for specific skills. Some EU members states have developed employment forecasting methods to identify future skill requirements which take account of the sectoral, occupational, and educational and training factors which influence supply and demand in the labour market for skills. A number of countries in Eastern Europe which are preparing to join the EU are interested in developing employment forecasting models that would provide them with similar information relating to skills. Taking account of the requirements of the Single European Market and increasing international mobility, it is desirable that the pre-accession countries should develop models which, if possible, are comparable with existing methods of forecasting training and qualification needs in existing member states of the EU. This task requires regular medium-term forecasts which will extend the time horizon of decision makers beyond the current economic cycle, be applicable to the whole economy, allow speedy adjustment to changing circumstances, and which will take account of relevant factors such as investment plans, output and labour productivity forecasts, and technological change. The objective of this paper is to provide a summary of existing methods and data sets used to forecast education and training needs in four members of the European Union, in order to motivate similar work in three pre-accession countries. We first provide a detailed account of the different approaches to forecast education and training needs in France, Germany, Ireland and The Netherlands. For each of these countries, we consider the labour market data on which employment forecasts are based and the current methods in use, examine how data reliability and accuracy of forecasts are dealt with, and discuss the dissemination and usage of forecast information generated by those systems. We then look at the same range of issues for three pre-accession Central European countries (Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia.)     A survey of river habitats on the River Lune

    A survey of the River Lune using River Habitat Survey (RHS) was carried out at 103 sections in February/March 99, to which were added 37 sites surveyed between 1994 -1996. Summary statistics were produced on the distribution and extent of flow features (e.g. riffles, pools, rapids etc.), substrate types, tree and associated features and bank profiles. Information on land-use and management was also included in the analyses. A Habitat Modification Score (HMS) describing the level of habitat modification was derived for each site and compared to the whole reference network and to rivers of similar types in Britain. The HMS shows that more than 70% of the sites on the catchment are predominantly unmodified and very few sites are significantly modified. Highly modified sites are concentrated in the urban areas and on the tributaries

    Media sosial menjadikan individu semakin mudah terkoneksi dengan individu lainnya dan mampu menjangkau dunia secara lebih luas. Salah satu media sosial yang menarik perhatian adalah Instagram. Beberapa tahun terakhir media sosial menjadi salah satu media sosial yang paling populer bagi remaja dalam melakukan aktivitas mengambil sebuah konten (foto atau video). Instagram yang menjadi album digital penggunanya seringkali digunakan remaja untuk memposting konten yang dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri mereka. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah sejauhmana dampak media sosial Instagram dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada remaja pengguna media sosial Instagram sejumlah 3 orang sebagai informan utama, dan informan pendukung merupakan pihak ekspert yaitu Psikolog. Studi dokumentasi dilakukan dengan melihat literatur yang relevan mengenai fenomena penggunaan Instagram oleh remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap kepercayaan diri remaja dari adanya media sosial Instagram ditunjukkan dari seberapa banyak postingan mereka menerima like. Temuan menarik adalah remaja seringkali menjadikan selfie sebagai aktivitas yang dapat meningkatkan dan menurunkan kepercayaan diri mereka.

    Penelitian ini membahas tentang evaluasi kualitas layanan Long Distance Circulation (LDC) Perpustakaan Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang berdasarkan metode LibQUAL+™. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas layanan Long Distance Circulation (LDC) Perpustakaan Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang berdasarkan metode LibQUAL+™. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui google form. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah pemustaka Perpustakaan Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang yang pernah memanfaatkan layanan Long Distance Circulation (LDC) yaitu sebanyak 30 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan dimensi LibQUAL+™ yang terdiri dari tiga indikator, yaitu Affect of Service, Information Control, dan Library as Place. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kualitas layanan Long Distance Circulation (LDC) berdasarkan Affect of Service adalah pemustaka cukup puas dengan nilai Adequancy Gap (AG) positif dan nilai Superiority Gap (SG) negatif. Berdasarkan Information Control, pemustaka cukup puas dengan nilai Adequancy Gap (AG) positif dan nilai Superiority Gap (SG) negatif. Berdasarkan Library as Place, pemustaka cukup puas dengan nilai Adequancy Gap (AG) positif dan nilai Superiority Gap (SG) negatif. Ketiga dimensi LibQUAL+™ tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan Long Distance Circulation (LDC) Perpustakaan Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang sudah cukup memuaskan dan dinilai baik oleh pemustaka, namun masih berada pada Zone of Tolerance

    The Self-Worth of Cleaning Service Workers at One of Universities in Surabaya

    This qualitative psychological research aims to identify and understand the self-worth of cleaning service workers at one of universities in Surabaya. This research is important to conduct considering the limited scope of similar research topics carried out by previous researchers. This study will provide a clear understanding of the self-worth possessed by cleaning service workers. Data was collected through interviews with three cleaners at this university who served as research participants. The Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis performed on the resulting data revealed individual differences in self-worth dynamics among the three cleaning service workers. In the performance aspect, two of them possessed a positive self-image. In the aspect of ability, all the three cleaning service workers displayed the same profiles. In the effort aspect, only one cleaning service worker exhibited it. In conclusion, one cleaning service worker had better self-worth than the other two. In addition, the research discovered that social support and moral standards served as protective factors, while appearances and social interaction operated as risk factors
