A tecto-thalamo-nucleus caudatus rendszer anatómiai, élettani és funkcionális vizsgálata házimacskában és makákó majomban = Analysis of the Tecto-Thalamo-Caudate Nucleus System in the feline and macaque brain: Anatomy, Physiology, Function, and Possible Evolutionary Significance
MorfolĂłgiai kĂsĂ©rleteinkben igazoltuk a tecto-thalamo-corticalis tengely (colliculus superior (CS)-nucleus suprageniculatus (Sg)-anterior ectosylvius kĂ©reg (AES)) Ă©s a bazális ganglionok anatĂłmiai kapcsolatát. A substantia nigra pars reticularisbĂłl (SNr) Ă©rkezĹ‘ afferensek a Sg-ban kapcsolĂłdnak át a nucleus caudatus (NC) felĂ©. MegszerkesztettĂĽk továbbá a NC neuronok spatio-temporalis spectralis receptĂv mezĹ‘it Ă©s igazoltuk a tĂ©rbeli vizuális informáciĂł megosztott populáciĂłs kĂłdját a NC-ban. EredmĂ©nyeink szerint a felszállĂł tectofugális rendszer Ă©s a vele szoros kapcsolatban levĹ‘ bazális ganglionok közös szereppel bĂrnak a mozgások Ă©s a sebessĂ©g Ă©rzĂ©kelĂ©sĂ©ben, aktivitásuk a mozgások során bekövetkezĹ‘ szenzoros változásokat is tĂĽkrözi, Ă©s Ăgy hozzájárulnak a szenzomotoros működĂ©sek koordinálásához. | In our morphological experiments we established the existence of anatomical connections between the superior colliculus (CS)- suprageniculate nucleus (Sg)- anterior ectosylvian cortex (AES) tecto-thalamo-cortical axis and the basal ganglia. Afferentation from the reticular part of the substantia nigra (SNr) is relayed toward the caudate nucleus (CN) via Sg. Likewise, Sg is a relay for afferentation of CS origin toward AES. A direct visual pathway from AES to CN has also been described. A cross-correlation analysis of single unit activity and local field potentials revealed a strong connection between CN and the ascending tectofugal visual system, in which Sg plays a major role. Through the analysis of the temporal and spatial visual response characteristics we verified that neuron sin CS, CN, Sg and AES act as temporal and spatial filters in the low spatial and high temporal frequency domain. The spatio-temporal spectral receptive field of CN neurons has been determined and the existence of distributed population coding within CN has been established. Our results suggest that the ascending tectofugal system and the basal ganglia detect motion and speed in strong interconnection, and their activity also reflects sensory changes during motion, therefore, they jointly support the coordination of sensorimotor functions
Reconstruction of binary matrices from fan-beam projections
The problem of the reconstruction of binary matrices from their fan-beam projections is investigated here. A fan-beam projection model is implemented and afterwards employed in systematic experiments to determine the optimal parameter values for a data acquisition and reconstruction algorithm. The fan-beam model, the reconstruction algorithm which uses the optimization method of Simulated Annealing, the simulation experiments, and the results are then discussed in turn
Augmented and virtual reality technologies as the future sales’ channel in the furniture industry
The furniture industry represents an important industry branch worldwide with a continuous demand. However, using advanced technologies in furniture design can take the industry to new heights by meeting the expectations of the users. The main focus of this paper is to highlight the importance of incorporating new future technologies in furniture design which meet user expectations more effectively. Integrating the augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies in this process can create compelling results and exceptional experiences for customers, leading to increased business and customer satisfaction. AR and VR technologies allow us to bring furniture designs virtually into our homes, enabling us to see how it fits into the room's environment in real-time and at a real scale. This technology not only enhances the user experience but also allows accurate sales and maximum customer satisfaction
A nagy repceormányos (Ceutorhynchus napi Gillenhal) Ă©szak-alföldi károsĂtása repcĂ©ben
A nagy repceormányosrĂłl hazánkban kevĂ©s hĂradást jelent Ă©s jelenik meg. A
legelismertebb hazai rovartani forrás, „A növényvédelmi állattan
kézikönyve” szerint hazánkban kártétele meglehetősen esetleges (Sáringer,
1990). A következőkben összefoglaljuk a fajra vonatkozó fontosabb
szakirodalmi ismereteket, és az érdeklődők elé tárjuk a közelmúltban
elvégzett vizsgálódásaink eredményét a nagy repceormányos északmagyarországi
előfordulásáról és kártételéről
