    Constraint-based Query Distribution Framework for an Integrated Global Schema

    Distributed heterogeneous data sources need to be queried uniformly using global schema. Query on global schema is reformulated so that it can be executed on local data sources. Constraints in global schema and mappings are used for source selection, query optimization,and querying partitioned and replicated data sources. The provided system is all XML-based which poses query in XML form, transforms, and integrates local results in an XML document.     THE EFFECTS OF DEMUTUALIZATION ON EXPANSION OF STOCK MARKET GROWTH: EVIDENCES FROM INDIAN STOCK MARKET AND LESSON FOR PAKISTAN STOCK EXCHANGE (PSX)

    The decision to transform an exchange’s governance andownership structure is influenced by globalized market trend whichallows exchanges to gain from the benefits of internationalizationand integration. This article examines the impact ofdemutualization on stock market indicators. Bombay StockExchange and National Stock Exchange of India were taken asstatistical frame. Wilcoxon sign rank test, Pair sample T-test, andMANOVA were used as statistical techniques. Pre-Post researchdesign was used and data (4 years before and 4years after thedemutualization) were collected from the website of the worldfederation of the exchanges. The result of Wilcoxon sign rank testand Pair sample T-test indicates significant differences in stockindex, market capitalization, value of share trading and the numberof listed companies before and after the demutualization of Indianstock exchanges. Likewise, the results of MANOVA elucidatessignificant influence of demutualization on stock market indicators,and conclude that demutualization leveraged Indian stockexchanges to a great extant

    Turnover Intention and Perceived Organizational Support; Mediating Role of Work Engagement and Organizational Commitment

    The purpose of this research is to address practical issues regarding the prediction and prevention of turnover intentions of highly skilled employees by focusing on Perceived Organizational Support and two of its outcomes i.e. Organizational Commitment and Work Engagement. Data was collected from different banks of Lahore i.e; Bank of Punjab, Habib Bank Ltd., Meezan Bank, Alfalah Bank, Standard Chartered, UBL, and MCB were visited. This cross-sectional study has used a quantitative technique in order to collect data from a sample size of 300 respondents. In this study, item response theory is used to select the sample size. To collect the data, the questionnaires were distributed among bankers. The response rate was 93% (i.e. 280 out of 300). Results show that Perceived Organizational support has a high impact on turnover intention whereas the organizational commitment and work engagement both can support the Perceived organizational support. Whereas if Perceived organizational support is increased with the help of Organizational Commitment and Work Engagement there will be less turn over intentions in the Organization

Shale gas is found in tight porous rocks which are characterised by nano-scale size porous networks with ultra-low permeability [1,2]. The modelling of transport through such tight porous media is very challenging because it is a relatively new discipline and not much is known but transport processes in them, and little data is available; but it is a growing sector and must be addressed.
