    Incertidumbres pesqueras

    Get PDF
Fil: Pagani, Andrea N. The orbifold cohomology of moduli of genus 3 curves

In this work we study the additive orbifold cohomology of the moduli stack of smooth genus g curves. We show that this problem reduces to investigating the rational cohomology of moduli spaces of cyclic covers of curves where the genus of the covering curve is g. Then we work out the case of genus g=3. Furthermore, we determine the part of the orbifold cohomology of the Deligne-Mumford compactification of the moduli space of genus 3 curves that comes from the Zariski closure of the inertia stack of M_3.Comment: 29 pages, 2 figures. Operator product expansion coefficients from the nonperturbative functional renormalization group

Using the nonperturbative functional renormalization group (FRG) within the Blaizot-M\'endez-Galain-Wschebor approximation, we compute the operator product expansion (OPE) coefficient c112c_{112} associated with the operators O1φ\mathcal{O}_1\sim\varphi and O2φ2\mathcal{O}_2\sim\varphi^2 in the three-dimensional O(N)\mathrm{O}(N) universality class and in the Ising universality class (N=1N=1) in dimensions 2d42 \leq d \leq 4. When available, exact results and estimates from the conformal bootstrap and Monte-Carlo simulations compare extremely well to our results, while FRG is able to provide values across the whole range of dd and NN considered

Pullbacks of universal Brill-Noether classes via Abel-Jacobi morphisms

Following Mumford and Chiodo, we compute the Chern character of the derived pushforward ch(RπO(D))\textrm{ch} (R^\bullet\pi_\ast\mathscr{O}(\mathsf{D})), for D\mathsf D an arbitrary element of the Picard group of the universal curve over the moduli stack of stable marked curves. This allows us to express the pullback of universal Brill-Noether classes via Abel-Jacobi sections to the compactified universal Jacobians, for all compactifications such that the section is a well-defined morphism

Indicadores para el análisis socioeconómico de la actividad pesquera: un estudio socioeconómico del pescador costero de la región bonaerense

    Get PDF
Fil: Errazti, Elizabeth. Swift/XRT monitoring of the Supergiant Fast X-ray Transient IGR J18483-0311 for an entire orbital period

IGR J18483-0311 is an X-ray pulsar with transient X-ray activity, belonging to the new class of High Mass X-ray Binaries called Supergiant Fast X-ray Transients. This system is one of the two members of this class, together with IGR J11215-5952, where both the orbital (18.52d) and spin period (21s) are known. We report on the first complete monitoring of the X-ray activity along an entire orbital period of a Supergiant Fast X-ray Transient. These Swift observations, lasting 28d, cover more than one entire orbital phase consecutively. They are a unique data-set, which allows us to constrain the different mechanisms proposed to explain the nature of this new class of X-ray transients. We applied the new clumpy wind model for blue supergiants developed by Ducci et al. (2009), to the observed X-ray light curve. Assuming an eccentricity of e=0.4, the X-ray emission from this source can be explained in terms of the accretion from a spherically symmetric clumpy wind, composed of clumps with different masses, ranging from 10^{18}g to 5x 10^{21}g.Comment: Accepted for publication in MNRAS. 7 pages, 7 figures, 2 table
