    Akad Penerbitan Sukuk di Pasar Modal Indonesia dalam Perspektif Fikih

    This article discusses the concepts of contract in the perspective of Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) and its implementation in Sharia Capital Market, particularly in the issuance of Corporate Sukuk and State Sukuk (SBSN). The purpose of the study is to understand the concept of akad (contract) in Islamic perspective an its implementation in sukuk issuance, mainly related to the transfer of ownership from the sukuk issuer to the investor. This study reveals that the current practice of issuance of corporate sukuk in Indonesia is only based on two models of contracts, namely Ijârah and Mudhârabah contracts. In addition, the contract structure are also varied, depending on the type of the issuer business, the purpose of funding, and the choice of contract. In the future, the issuance of corporate sukuk should have a uniformed, standardized structure, while it still comply with syariah regulation

    Multimedia environmental fate and transport model of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT): case study sayong river watershed

    This study describes the development of a multimedia environmental fate and transport model of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) at Sayong River Watershed. Based on the latest estimated DDT emission, the DDT concentrations in air, soil, water, and sediment as well as the transfer flux were simulated under the equilibrium and steady-state assumption. Model predictions suggest that soil and sediment was the dominant sink of DDT. The results showed that the model predicted was generally good agreement with field data. Compared with degradation reaction, advection outflow was more important in removal processes of DDT. Sensitivities of the model estimates to input parameters were tested. The result showed that vapour pressure (Ps), chemical solubility (Cs), and absolute temperature (T) of DDT were the most influential parameters for the model output. The model output–concentrations of DDT in multimedia environment is very important as it can be used in future for human exposure and risk assessment of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) at Sayong River Basin

    Non-Functional Requirements Elicitation Guideline for Agile Methods

    One of the essential activities in software development is elicitation of requirement. Majority of the studies has pointed out that less attention is given to the NonFunctional Requirement (NFR). The negligence of NFR elicitation is due to lack of knowledge of the user and developer about NFR. Our study presents elicitation guidelines for NFRs in agile methods. This guideline will helps developers as well as users in agile methods. A case study is conducted on the group of master students for eliciting NFR with the help of elicitation guidelines. In addition, the initial results were obtained by extracting NFRs from eProcurement document that carries requirements of major European Union projects. The result of the case study is positive and encouraging for the new developers and users having less awareness about NFRs. Furthermore, the study describes the role of cloud computing in agile methods, especially in elicitation activity

    Parameter kekuatan ricih seperti sudut geseran permukaan ketakselanjaran batuan merupakan antara data penting bagi reka bentuk struktur kejuruteraan batuan seperti pengorekan bawah tanah dan cerun potongan. Ujian ricih terus beban normal tetap telah dilakukan pada permukaan buatan potongan gergaji batuan granit segar dan terluluhawa sedikit untuk menentukan sudut geseran asas permukaan satah ketakselanjaran. Sampel granit diperoleh dari Kuari Kajang Rock, Semenyih, Ulu Langat, Selangor, Lebuhraya Silk Kajang (km 14.6), Selangor, Jalan Pos Selim-Kampung Raja (km 30-29), Cameron Highland, Pahang/Perak dan Kuari JKR Bukit Penggorak, Kuantan, Pahang. Sebanyak 84 ujian ricih terus telah dijalankan pada batuan granit iaitu 65 ujian pada batuan segar dan 19 ujian pada batuan terluluhawa sedikit. Untuk batuan granit segar, sudut geseran asas ialah 42° ± 0.6° dengan sisihan piawai sebanyak 2.26 dan pekali penentuan, R2 sebanyak 0.98. Untuk granit terluluhawa sedikit, sudut geseran asas ialah 38° ± 1.9° dengan sisihan piawai sebanyak 3.99 dan pekali penentuan, R2 sebanyak 0.97. Nilai-nilai ini adalah lebih tinggi daripada nilai yang selalu dianggap untuk batuan granit segar iaitu 30°-35°

    The Effects of Nano Fillers on Space Charge Distribution in Cross-Linked Polyethylene

    The performance of polymeric insulation will be distorted by the accumulation of space charge. This will lead to local electric field enhancement within the insulation material that can cause degradation and electrical breakdown. The introduction of nanofillers in the insulation material is expected to reduce the space charge effect. However, there is a need to analyze potential nanofillers to determine the best option. Therefore, the objective of this research work is to examine two types of nanofillers for Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE); Zinc Oxide (ZnO) and Acrylic (PA40). The effects of these nanofillers were measured using the Pulsed-Electro Acoustic (PEA) method. The development of space charge is observed at three different DC voltage levels in room temperature. The results show that hetero charge distribution is dominant in pure XLPE materials. The use of both nanofiller types have significant effect in decreasing the space charge accumulation. With nanofillers, the charge profile changed to homo-charge distribution, suppressing the space charge formation. Comparisonbetween both the nanofillers show that PA40 has better suppression performance than ZnO

    Comparative study on the accelerated thermal aging behavior between palm and rapeseed natural ester oils

    The suitability of natural ester oils as an insulating medium in power transformers is discussed in this paper. Owing to environmental concerns, natural ester oils have great potential as mineral oil substitutes in power transformers. In this paper, the aging behaviors of palm and rapeseed natural ester oils were compared with that for mineral oil. The performance of these natural ester oils was assessed based on their properties (moisture content, acidity, and relative content of dissolved decay products) after accelerated thermal aging. The results showed that the palm oil has better performance compared to the rapeseed oil after accelerated thermal aging for 1500 h because of its lower acidity. This was further supported by the presence of sludge in the rapeseed oil after 1500 h of aging

    Parameters Affecting the Extraction Process of Jatropha Curcas Oil Using a Single Screw Extruder

    The most commonly used technique to separate oil and cake from J. curcas seeds is mechanical extraction. It uses simple tools such as a piston and a screw extruder to produce high pressure, driven by hand or by engine. A single screw extruder has one screw rotating inside the barrel and materials simultaneously flow from the feed to the die zone. The highest oil yield can be obtained by a well-designed oil press as well as finding the optimum conditions for all parameters involved during the extraction process. The influence of the parameters in a single screw extruder was studied using finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics simulation with ANSYS POLYFLOW. The research focused on predicting the velocity, pressure and shear rate in the metering section that influenced the screw rotational speed and mass flow rate. The obtained results revealed that increasing the screw rotational speed will increase the pressure, velocity and shear rate. Meanwhile, increasing the mass flow rate results in decreasing the pressure while the velocity and shear rate remain constant

    Control of Triple Link Inverted Pendulum on Two-Wheeled System Using IT2FLC

    A triple link inverted pendulum is dynamic and highly unstable system. In this paper, an intense comparison is demonstrated in order to stabilize triple link inverted pendulum on two wheels system based on fuzzy logic controls. The model of triple link inverted pendulum on wheels is developed using SimWise 4D CAD software environment and the model is integrated with Matlab/Simulink for control purpose. Each link is controlled by fuzzy controller to maintain in the upright position on two wheel system. The performance of each links is observed in terms of peak undershoot, peak overshoot, settling angle, and steady state angle. The result shows that Interval Type-2 fuzzy logic control (IT2FLC) is superior and give better performance compared to Type-1 fuzzy logic control (T1FLC)

    Lifting and stabilizing of two-wheeled wheelchair system using interval type-2 fuzzy logic control based spiral dynamic algorithm

    The current study emphasizes on improving an interval type-2 fuzzy logic control (IT2FLC) system through the use of spiral dynamics algorithm (SDA) optimization in stabilizing a transformational two-wheeled wheelchair. The main contribution of this research is to reduce vibrations while performing the lifting and stabilization of a wheelchair from its standard four-wheeled to two-wheeled transformation. IT2FLC based SDA was used to enhance the system’s stability performance by obtaining the optimized value for input and output controller gains and IT2FLC parameters for IT2FLC. System modeling was done through development within the SimWise 4D software environment, which was then integrated with MATLAB/SIMULINK for control purposes. The proposed algorithm has demonstrated improved tilt angle performance with reduced noise and lower torque when various disturbances were applied, as compared to a system solely controlled by IT2FLC without any optimization. Moreover, the proposed algorithm has also comprehensively outperformed previous controllers in terms of system’s stability, further demonstrated its superiority as a system controller within transformational wheelchairs
