High Performance IIR Filter FPGA Implementation Utilizing SOS Microcode Core

This paper discusses the methods of optimal IIR filter FPGA implementation. The methods are focused on the reduction of occupied resources and increasing data throughput. Higher demands on an internal controller complexity are successfully solved by utilizing programmable microcode controller. The novelty of SOS core and its capabilities are presented and different variants of SOS core are assessed. The workflow of IIR filter design using MATLAB considering rounded coefficient method is demonstrated

Optimization of Aircraft Refueling Process

Import 23/07/2015Cílem předložené bakalářské práce je popsat a porovnat metody výpočtu tankování optimálního množství paliva na nejvýhodnějším letišti. Úvod práce bude věnován charakteristice používaných pohonných hmot, provozním nařízením, omezením a dalším faktorům ovlivňujícím let. Další část této práce bude zaměřena na optimalizaci plánování paliva pro let. Bude zde popis programu, který se využívá při plánování letů a také zde bude popsána metoda tankering. V závěru práce bude specifikován využitý letoun a rovnice metody tankering. Dále zde budou prezentovány výsledky získané v praktické části založeny na experimentech provedených v plánovacím programu LIDO a manuálních výpočtech potřebného množství paliva.The aim of bachelor thesis is to describe and compare calculation methods of tanking optimal amount of fuel at the most efficient airport. The introduction of this thesis will be dedicated to characteristic of the currently used fuel, operational regulations, limitations and other factors affecting flight. Next part of the thesis will be focused on the optimization of fuel planning. There will be description of software, which is used for flight planning and description of tankering method as well. In the end of thesis will be specified the aircraft and equations of tinkering method. Proposals for the expansion of mining at the Náklo plant

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na návrh rozšíření těžby na provozovně Náklo společnosti Cemex Sand k.s. V diplomové práci nejprve popisuji geologické, hydrogeologické a jakostní vlastnosti hornin, nacházejících se na území, jak stávající těžby, tak i nového zájmového území. Dále popisuji strojní vybavení a technologii těžby, používanou při dnešní těžbě. Následující část obsahuje návrh technologie těžby na novém zájmovém území, kde popisuji dva způsoby těžby, jejich výhody a nevýhody a řešení problematiky se zavedením do provozu. V poslední části se zabývám způsobem transportu a řešením překonání překážek, které jsou s transportem z nové zájmové oblasti spojeny.This diploma thesis is focused on a proposal to expand mining at the Náklo plant of Cemex Sand k.s. In the diploma thesis I first describe the geological, hydrogeological, and quality properties of rocks located in the area, both the existing mining and the new area of interest. I also describe the machinery and mining technology used in today's mining. The following part contains a proposal of mining technology in the new area of interest, where I describe two methods of mining, their advantages and disadvantages and solutions to the issue of commissioning. Modern Technical Safety and Security Systems for Control of Persons at Airport

Cílem předložené diplomové práce je návrh použití nových technologii pro bezpečnostní systém pro kontrolu osob na letišti. Úvod práce je věnován popisu vývoje a současné situace hrozeb pro bezpečnostní systémy letišť. První kapitola práce je věnována popisu používaných bezpečnostních zařízení pro kontrolu osob. Další část se zabývá popisem aspektů a kritérií, které musí navrhovaný systém splňovat. V závěru práce je představen schématický návrh systému spolu s popisem jeho vlastností a využitých technologií. Součástí toho je také popis ekonomických vlastností a dopadů.The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose the use of new technologies for security check of persons at the airport. The introduction is dedicated to description of history and pointing out current situation of threats for airport security systems. Neural Monkey: The Current State and Beyond

Neural Monkey is an open-source toolkit for sequence-to-sequence learning. The focus of this paper is to present the current state of the toolkit to the intended audience, which includes students and researchers, both active in the deep learning community and newcomers. For each of these target groups, we describe the most relevant features of the toolkit, including the simple configuration scheme, methods of model inspection that promote useful intuitions, or a modular design for easy prototyping. We summarize relevant contributions to the research community which were made using this toolkit and discuss the characteristics of our toolkit with respect to other existing systems. We conclude with a set of proposals for future development

Results of the WMT17 Neural MT Training Task

This paper presents the results of the WMT17 Neural MT Training Task. The objective of this task is to explore the methods of training a fixed neural architecture, aiming primarily at the best translation quality and, as a secondary goal, shorter training time. Task participants were provided with a complete neural machine translation system, fixed training data and the configuration of the network. The translation was performed in the English-to-Czech direction and the task was divided into two subtasks of different configurations - one scaled to fit on a 4GB and another on an 8GB GPU card. We received 3 submissions for the 4GB variant and 1 submission for the 8GB variant; we provided also our run for each of the sizes and two baselines. We translated the test set with the trained models and evaluated the outputs using several automatic metrics. We also report results of the human evaluation of the submitted systems

Title in English: Folk Song in Music Education at Primary and Secondary Schools in the Czech Republic The monograph presents and reflects the results of a specific research project of the same name (MUNI/A/1423/2018) carried out by a team of academic staff and students of the doctoral program of the Department of Music at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. The folklore song scope represents an important didactic basis, permeates music education at elementary, partly also secondary schools and specialized instrumental or singing education at elementary art schools. Due to the influence of multilayered cultural expressions and the influence of multimedia means, however, the question of how to present the musical and folklore heritage to school youth is more prominent. The object of investigation was the application of folk music to school education
