Psikologi transpersonal adalah salah satu madzhad dari psikologi yang mempelajari tentang potensi yang paling tinggi dari manusia; seperti  pengalaman trans yang dialami oleh manusia, penalaman spiritual, pengalaman mistik dan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kesadaran yang berada diatas ego (self beyond ego). Menurut Imam al-Ghazali, kondisi trans dapat terjadi karena pada dasarnya kesadaran itu tergantung pada tingkatakan ruh yang menerima persepsi. Perbedaan tingkatan ruh yang menjadi tempat terjadinya kesadaran menjadikan seseorang dapat memiliki perpindahan kesadaran mulai dari kesadaran yang bersifat indrawi, imaginatif, rasional, fikri dan qudsi. Bagi al-Ghazali manusia punya kemampuan untuk melintas dari kesadaran yang rasional (kesadaran yang diperoleh oleh akal) kedalam kesandaran yang lebih tinggi lagi: yaitu kesadaran yang terjadi pada diri diluar ego rasional (self- beyond Ego). Kesadaran tersebut disebabkan manusia memiliki kemampuan menjelajah wilayah diluar akal (Thur wara’ al-Aql). Pada kondisi ini, manusia mampu mengetahui objek yang semula tidak mampu diketahui oleh akal. Bagi al-Ghazali, penjelajahan self-beyond ego dapat dilakukan dengan mempertajam dzau

An Interlanguage Pragmatic Study of Saudis’ Complaints

This study investigated the strategies monolingual Saudi Arabian adults (MSAAs), Saudi EFL adult learners (SEFLALs), and native speakers of English (ENSs) used when complaining. Another related aim was investigating whether SEFLALs displayed pragmatic transfer when using complaint strategies. A total of 183 written responses were collected from MSAAs, SEFLALs, and ENSs via a three-item discourse completion task (DCT) were analyzed. Findings revealed the strategies used by the study participants when performing the speech act of complaints. First, hints, request and annoyance were the most frequently used strategies by MSAAs, SEFLALs, and ENSs. Second, there were no statistically significant differences among MSAAs, SEFLALs, and ENSs in using the strategy of direct accusation which consistent with the concept of positive pragmatic transfer. Third, hints, behavioral blame, request and indirect accusation were cases of weak negative pragmatic transfer as employed the SEFLALs in the current study. Fourth, modified blame was consistent with concept of strong negative pragmatic transfer. Finally, the last two strategies; annoyance and threat were consistent with no transfer, that is, SEFLAL employed these two strategies as ENSs.

ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN KATA AJAKAN DALAM MENULIS TEKS PERSUASI PADA SISWA KELAS SMP

This research is motivated by the problems faced by students in writing persuasion texts, especially on linguistic rules. The distinctive feature of persuasion text is in one of its linguistic rules, namely the invitation word, this study focuses on the type of invitation word, and the purpose is to find out what invitation words are used by persuasion by class VIII students of Annur Lemahabang in writing text. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The instruments used were in the form of tests and data collection techniques in this study, namely the results of writing persuasion texts of grade VIII students as much as 20. The results of the analysis contained five types of invitations words used by students, (1) the use of invitations to come on the highest percentage is 46%, (2) the next percentage sequence is ayakan invitations word that is as much as 29%, (3) then the next sequence is the word starts as much as 11%, (4) the lowest percentage number shows 7% ie on the word type do it, and (5) keep the word showing the same percentage as the word do that is 7%. These results indicate that the invitation word that is often used by students in writing persuasive texts is the word 'let'

Tingkat literasi keuangan syariah santri dayah

This study aims to determine the level of Islamic financial literacy of students at Dayah Raudhatul Huda. Aspects of Islamic financial literacy observed including knowledge of basic Islamic finance, Islamic saving and loans, personal finance, contracts in Islamic finance and understanding of Islamic financial institutions. The population in this study were the Senior High students of Dayah Raudhatul Huda with the sample size of 77. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistics. The results showed that the level of Islamic financial literacy of students at Dayah Raudhatul Huda was 68,10% which is categorized as medium.The average value obtained in the aspects of basic Islamic financial knowledge is 74,38%, Islamic savings and loans of 69,35%, personal finance of 54,97%, contract in Islamic finance of 69,34% and understanding of Islamic financial institutions at 72,50%

The hidden salmon patch: ocular lymphoma mistaken as Vogt Koyanagi disease

Ocular inflammation from various causes may have similar clinical presentation thus careful clinical evaluations are mandatory particularly when the disease appear to be resistant to treatment. This paper reports a case of ocular lymphoma which was initially treated as Vogt Koyanagi Harada disease at a different centre. A 65-year-old Sudanese man complained of gradual worsening left eye vision. Careful ocular and slit lamp examination revealed a conjunctival lesion with choroidal infiltration as well as exudative retinal detachment. Computed tomography scan (CT scan) showed left eye axial proptosis, and a homogenous enhancing mass at the posterior coat of the globe. Tissue biopsy of the conjunctival lesion revealed marginal Zone B cell (MALT type), low grade, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. AS the ocular signs and symptoms progressed, chemotherapy was initiated. The proptosis, exudative retinal detachment, disc hyperemia and swelling improved after chemotherapy. The post treatment CT scan showed reduction of the posterior ocular coat mass. The possibility of malignant lymphoma should be considered in patients with resistant uveitis despite administration of corticosteroid. Ocular lymphoma is an indolent tumour with good prognosis. Careful ocular examination, adequate imaging studies followed by early surgical biopsy will contribute to early diagnosis
