This standing has remained, but we must nevertheless note that the term “logistics” has lost its former function. From the starting point of logistics as a practical art of calculus in Greece, the appraisal moves on to a dialectical proof of development by the Romans, and concludes with a brief outlook on modern times

Dichter und Herrscher. Bemerkungen zur Polykratesode des Ibykos

Dans cette œuvre, Ibycus s'attache à montrer que la poésie peut constituer un excellent exemple d'adaptation d'une littérature à un objectif à la fois littéraire et politique. Associant l'art à l'esprit critique, la poésie d'Ibycus se veut supérieure à l'épopée favorisée par ses contemporains. Le poète fait allusion à la tradition littéraire, c'est-à-dire au mythe de Troie, pour mettre en lumière le décalage entre les héros du passé et Polycrate. Il se sert de cette comparaison ingénieuse pour tracer un portrait peu flatteur du tyran. Zu Stesichoros' Umgang mit dem Mythos. - Cet article tente de répondre à deux questions majeures : où se situe le poète face à la tradition de l'épopée homérique ? Quelle est son influence sur les auteurs tragiques du Ve s. av. J.-C. ? Ses œuvres intitulées Orestie et Ilioupersis, qui font partie de sa grande force créatrice, sont analysées sous des angles nouveaux afin de savoir si elles font preuve du talent du poète qui consiste à avoir inventé et réalisé à la fois la synthèse des innovations opérées par ses prédécesseurs ou contemporains. Pour l'interprétation de l'Orestie, l'analyse a recours à Pindare, une source négligée jusqu'à présent par les études récentes consacrées à Stésichore.
