Amelioration De La Maturite Des Entreprises En Gestion Des Risques Par La Maintenance
Statistics on accidents at work, particularly in Morocco, remain worryingly high. This situation raised a general awareness in the country and many decisions have been taken and corrective actions have been elaborated in order to enhance enterprise risk management maturity. This maturity is based on several key factors including maintenance. In this paper we propose a methodology to mitigate and control maintenance generated risks which in turn will allow enterprises to enhance their maturity in risk management
Fuzzy Performance Measurement System for the Maintenance Function
Maintenance aims to sustain the manufacturing process by ensuring that the production tools are well managed. However, modern production means are more automated and therefore more complex, so they require a performing maintenance for which planning and implementation are increasingly difficult. This paper, therefore, emphasizes the elaboration of a maintenance performance measurement system. Therefore, for an appropriate and reliable performance evaluation, we adopt a multi-level multi-criteria approach where every criterion influencing the maintenance performance either indirectly or directly are specified. Thereafter, indicators for the specified criteria would be measured using fuzzy logic to overcome limitations due to lack of available resources and data. For a global maintenance measurement, the elementary measurements will be aggregated into a total measurement through a multiple-criteria decision-making method such as MACBETH
The statistics on accidents related to industrial risks are alarming. The consequences of such incidents can be very harmful to a business, its goods, employees, reputation, environment and neighbouring population. To reduce these risks, a company should have an effective risk management policy, clearly defined and correctly implemented in a global approach for continuous improvement. In this paper, we will propose a maturity model for industrial risk management validated by application on fifteen cases studies. This tool will allow managers to evaluate their level of control over industrial risks, identify their weaknesses, and take the adequate decisions that will permit their organizations to be highly reliable
Prognosis of a Degradable Hydraulic System: Application on a Centrifugal Pump
This article proposes a preliminary diagnostic/prognostic method for the identification of a critical system, undergoing a continuous evolutionary degradation, in a production area, and the determination of the component responsible for its degradation, called the failing element. Using for this, a model based on learning by multilayer perception (MLP). The purpose of this paper is to provide a modeling approach that makes it possible to determine the level of degradation reached by the system at any given point of time, in a precise way. Thus, the horizon of the failure will be produced with a minimum error compared to the discrete jump model used in the literature. The proposed approach consists of using a neural network with fewer layers and optimal computing time. We performed data learning (tests) in order to illustrate a regression of good correlation of these data (tests) on a centrifugal pump with satisfactory performance parameters and compared it with other commonly used methods
Elaboration of an implementation approach of a condition-based maintenance through vibration analysis
Vibration analysis is a powerful and widely used tool in industry for monitoring rotating machinery. Despite the possibilities offered by the measuring equipment of vibration through technological progress, companies which practice Vibration Based Analysis (VBM) show performance below expectations in terms of machine availability. Our duty then is to develop an approach for the implementation of the VBM taking into consideration the keys to success and avoiding the causes of failure. We carried out an analysis of 30 years of practice of the VBM within a large Moroccan company in the chemical industry, through a collective approach called DCA (in French applied short diagnosis) and a survey among national and international experts in the field of the VBM. The synthesis of these studies has led us to propose a comprehensive and structured approach that comes in 5 phases: inventory, feasibility studies, preparation phase, implementation phase, evaluation and improvement phase
A balanced performance measurement system for automotive spare parts supply chain
This paper aims to provide a performance measurement system for the automotive spare parts supply chain. We focus on an independent distributor belonging to an independent channel. The framework encompasses different performance aspects for a high supply chain visibility, as well as the required categories, subcategories and key performance indicators for the automotive spare parts supply chain performance measurement. The framework is the first contribution that advances the performance measurement in the automotive aftermarket and allows assessing the performance of the automotive spare parts supply chain as a whole
