    An efficient and simple synthesis approach to form stable (68) Ga-labeled nanogels is reported and their fundamental properties investigated. Nanogels are obtained by self-assembly of amphiphilic statistical prepolymers derivatised with chelating groups for radiometals. The resulting nanogels exhibit a well-defined spherical shape with a diameter of 290 +/- 50 nm. The radionuclide (68) Ga is chelated in high radiochemical yields in an aqueous medium at room temperature. The phagocytosis assay demonstrates a highly increased internalization of nanogels by activated macrophages. Access to these (68) Ga-nanogels will allow the investigation of general behavior and clearance pathways of nanogels in vivo by nuclear molecular imaging

    На прикладі хвостів вуглезбагачення ОФ "Распадська" (р. Междуріченськ Кемеровської області, РФ) встановлено, що використання ультрафлокулярної обробки дає нижче-наступні переваги при витяганні тонкодисперсного вугілля методом седиментації в радіальному згущувачі: • зниження витрати флокулянтів – в 2,5-3,5 разу. • збільшення витягання вугільного концентрату з хвостів на 23…26%. • зменшення зольності концентрату, вилученого з хвостів з 18 до 12%. • зменшення вологості прес-фільтраційного кека концентрату, вилученого з хвостів з 40 до 35%.На примере хвостов углеобогащения ОФ "Распадская" (г. Междуреченск Кемеровской области, РФ) установлено, что использование ультрафлокулярной обработки дает нижеследующие преимущества при извлечении тонкодисперсного угля методом седиментации в радиальном сгустителе: • снижение расхода флокулянтов – в 2,5-3,5 раза. • увеличение извлечения угольного концентрата из хвостов на 23…26%. • уменьшение зольности концентрата, извлекаемого из хвостов с 18 до 12%. • уменьшение влажности пресс-фильтрационного кека концентрата, извлекаемого из хвостов с 40 до 35%

    7 páginas, 7 figuras, 3 tablas.-- El pdf del artículo es la versión pre-print.A fast and easy one-step linker-free approach for the synthesis of palladium nanoparticle/multiwall carbon nanotube (Pd-NP/MWCNT)hybrid materials is described using microwave irradiation for the effective decomposition of Pd2dba3 complex in the presence of MWCNTs. High loadings of Pd nanoparticles (up to 40 wt.%) having sizes between 3 and 5 nm are deposited on the surface of MWCNTs within a time of only 2 minutess.     The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of androgen ablation therapy in different prostate cancer (PCa) cell lines-reflecting different stages of the disease-on (18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG), (11)C-choline and (11)C-acetate uptake. Uptake experiments were performed in androgen-sensitive (LNCaP, PC346C) and independent cell lines (22Rv1, PC346DCC, PC-3) as well as in a benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH-1) cell line. Tracer uptake was assessed under androgen ablation. Results of the cancer cell lines were normalized to those of BPH-1. To evaluate the effect of androgen on the uptake of (18)F-FDG, (11)C-choline and (11)C-acetate in PCa cell lines, 10(-8)M R1881, 10(-10)M R1881, the combination of 10(-10)M R1881 plus 10(-6)M Casodex or 10(-6)M Casodex alone were added in parallel cell cultures 1 day before uptake experiments. Uptake in androgen-supplemented cell cultures was compared to the uptake under androgen deprivation. Uptake was corrected for cell number using protein content. Compared to BPH-1, a higher (18)F-FDG uptake was observed only in PC346C cells, whereas a higher (11)C-choline and markedly increased (11)C-acetate uptake was seen in all cancer cell lines. Androgens significantly modulated the uptake of (18)F-FDG in LNCaP, PC346C and 22Rv1 cells, and of (11)C-choline in the PC346C and 22Rv1 cell line. No androgenic effect on (11)C-choline and (18)F-FDG uptake was observed in PC-3 and PC346DCC cells. (11)C-Acetate uptake was independent of androgen status in all PCa cell lines studied. (18)F-FDG uptake in PCa cell lines showed the highest variability and strongest androgen effect, suggesting its poor potential for metabolic imaging of advanced PCa. In contrast to (18)F-FDG and (11)C-choline, (11)C-acetate uptake was unaffected by androgens and thus (11)C-acetate seems best for monitoring PCa progression

    Ethylene C2H3D isotopologue: high resolution study of v6, v4, v8, v7 and v10 fundamentals

    High Resolution Fourier transform infrared spectra of the C2H3D molecule were recorded with Doppler limited resolution in the region of 600 - 1250 cm-1 at room temperature. The measurements were carried out under several different absorption conditions using the Bruker 120 HR spectrometer in Braunschweig Technical University. Five fundamentals v6, v4, v8, v7, and v10 were observed and found to be perturbed by different resonance interactions. About 6000 lines were assigned in the recorded spectrum. They were used then in the weighted fit procedure with the effective Hamiltonian taking into account five strongly interacting states
