Limitações nutricionais de mudas de mangostãozeiro.

Este trabalho teve o objetivo de avaliar, por meio da análise foliar, as limitações nutricionais para produção de mudas de mangostãozeiro. Após 12 meses do plantio, em condições de viveiro, com sombreamento no início do desenvolvimento, foi observado amarelecimento progressivo das folhas novas, com diminuição significativa dos teores foliares de Fe e Mn. A aplicação de sulfato de manganês (0,8 mg L-I de Mo) + 2,5 g L-I de uréia, via foliar, não ocasionou recuperação da tonalidade verde do limbofoliar. Entretanto, com sulfato de ferro, na concentração de 0,8 mg L-I de Fe + 2,5 g L-I de uréia, houve aumento da pigmentação verde nas folhas, o que mostra a baixa eficiência do mangostãozeiro na absorção de Fe, apesar da alta concentração desse nutriente no terriço (223,7 mg ctm-3). Isto indica a necessidade de aplicação suplementar de Fe, no substrato ou nas folhas, na fase de viveiro do mangostãozeiro

Enraizamento de estacas de mangostão com diferentes concentrações de auxinas.

Ensaio para verificar a possibilidade de obtencao de estacas enraizadas de mangostao sob nebulizacao intermitente de auxinas. Os resultados preliminares indicam a possibilidade de obtencao de mudas de estacas enraizadas de mangostao, embora haja necessidade de ensaios mais elaborados, onde serao estudados os tipos de estacas, epocas e dosagens de fitormonios. Mesmo obtendo-se taxas de enraizamento nao muito altas, o tamanho da muda obtida pelo tratamento com fitormonio equivale a uma muda de um ano proveniente de sementes apomiticas, o que valida os resultados obtidos e corrobora com a continuidade da pesquisa.bitstream/item/89231/1/PA-35.pd

Game theory and the legitimacy of international adjudicative bodies

Traditional legal approaches assume that a court is legitimate when its decisions are faithful to the text that expresses the mandate for which it was created (i.e. the Constitution, in the case of domestic courts; and the treaty, in the case of international courts). However, studies employing game theory show that judges of international courts cannot always be faithful to this mandate and provide the single right legal answer to the cases brought before them for it would risk the stability of the whole system. In light of these findings, this paper exposes the implications that game theory brings to legal theory, reviews the concept(s) of legitimacy of courts, and sketches the foundations of a new theory that justifies their authority, which provides a normative framework to assess their activity. This new theory asserts that the role of international courts is not (cannot be) to provide the unique right legal answer on a case-to-case basis in an approach that focuses on individual rights, but to advance and sustain a “legitimate state of affairs” (objective dimension of rights approach) that is in line with the normative goals that motivated the creation of the international organization

The Need for Legal Improvement of Civil Liability for the Guarantee of the Human Right to Access to Water as an Essential Public Service in Brazil: An Analysis based on the São Paulo Water Crisis (2014-2016)

The management of the water crisis faces great complexity due to its causes and repercussions on the environment and individual rights. In Brazil, water supply can be understood as an essential service, insofar as it guarantees the right of access to water resources. To better clarify the public water supply service during the crisis and its effects on individual compensation claims, the study proposes an analysis considering the Brazilian legal context in the water crisis in São Paulo, between 2014 and 2016, to investigate what should be improved in water supply and legal liability in this case. The article aims to reinforce the legal structure of water management, to obtain better legal responses to cope with water crises. As a result, it is argued that transparency and coherence in public water regulation are key aspects for managing the water crisis and measuring legal liability. Compliance with these aspects ensures the safeguarding of the principles of continuity of essential services and the supremacy of the public interest in water services

Major clinical outcomes and analysis of the risk of bias of the advances in cervicofacial liposculture: a systematic review

  Introduction: In the context of liposculpture, cervicofacial liposuction involves the application of negative pressure through a hollow cannula in the subcutaneous plane to gently avulse fat cells and accurately sculpt unwanted fat deposits on the face and neck. Furthermore, lipo contouring provides a versatile tool in the facial surgeon's arsenal to achieve the desired facial profile. In 2020, approximately 15.5 million cosmetic procedures were performed in the United States alone. Objective: A systematic review was carried out on the main clinical results, presenting studies on the risk of bias, and the advances in facial and cervical liposculpture as an important aesthetic tool for the dental surgeon. Methods: The rules of the Systematic Review-PRISMA Platform were followed. The search was carried out from November 2021 to February 2022 in Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, Scielo, and Google Scholar databases. Results: 64 articles were found involving liposculpture. A total of 32 articles were fully evaluated and 14 were included and developed in the present study. Considering the Cochrane tool for risk of bias, the overall assessment did not result in significant risk of bias studies. The Funnel Plot showed symmetrical behavior. Twenty-five studies did not meet the GRADE. Most patients who were involved in the studies showed improvements in facial augmentation and contouring. In patients with loss of facial volume, high-density fat transfer with the facial injection of SVF-gel resulted in significantly higher improvement scores and better patient satisfaction. Conclusion: According to the main clinical studies selected in the present study, cervicofacial liposculpture proved to be safe and effective. A contradição entre teoria e prática na escola do MST

Defesa: Curitiba, 23/03/2009Inclui bibliografiaResumo : Trata-se esta pesquisa de um estudo de caso da Escola Oito de Agosto, implantada em um assentamento do MST, localizado no município de Candiota/RS. O estudo centrou-se na relação teoria e prática pedagógica. A aproximação e o entrosamento com a escola tornaramse uma necessidade iminente para que pudéssemos conhecer as suas contradições e como elas no dia-a-dia da escola estão imbricadas na relação teoria e prática pedagógica. Partimos do entendimento de que as dimensões da teoria e da prática contêm em si grande potencial explicativo das contradições que ocorrem nesse contexto. Analisar o lócus, a particularidade, onde uma educação com perspectiva de transformação social está em processo, em especial como uma possibilidade de constatar o movimento contraditório da construção de outra consciência e prática social pela via da escola formal, organizada dentro de um movimento social, é um desafio que vem sendo colocado para pesquisas comprometidas com a superação da educação unilateral que se reproduz na sociedade capitalista. O MST, ao longo de seus 25 anos, vem construindo uma proposta de educação com perspectiva socialista. Nesse seu processo de luta, tem buscado legitimar práticas sociais e políticas que abarquem esse propósito. A Escola é um dos principais alvos nesse caminho de construção social e formação humana, tendo sua teoria pedagógica como sustentação. Com o objetivo de potencializar a Escola nessa perspectiva, o problema da pesquisa buscou responder: Quais são as tensões e contradições existentes entre a teoria e a prática pedagógica da escola do MST que a faz se aproximar e se distanciar de uma pedagogia que contribua para superação do capital? Chegouse a uma conclusão provisória de que a Teoria Pedagógica do Movimento tem contribuído, em parte, para a efetivação de sua proposta por intermédio da Escola do MST, sendo que um dos motivos dessa limitação está no distanciamento de seus pressupostos teóricos em relação às demandas pedagógicas que a escola apresenta em sua realidade. Essa Escola do MST revelou a necessidade de construção de metodologias que viessem a dar conta de trabalhar a realidade e as contradições da prática social do assentamento. Tais conclusões apontam para a necessidade de um autoquestionamento, uma autocrítica por parte da teoria pedagógica e da própria escola do MST. Tanto em referência às suas concepções de fundo filosófico e pedagógico, como para uma revisão dos seus pressupostos, sua validade e aplicabilidade no campo metodológico e da prática pedagógica. Constatou-se que as tensões e contradições explicitadas nesta pesquisa não serão superadas e nem respondidas pela aplicabilidade de diferentes matrizes pedagógicas ou compreendendo o Movimento como princípio educativo.Abstract : This research concern in a case study of Escola Oito de Agosto, implanted in an MST settlement, located in the municipality of Candiota / RS. The study focused on the relationship between theory and pedagogical practice. The approach and meshing with the school became an imminent need that we might know its contradictions and how they in day-to-day school are embedded in the theory and pedagogical practice. We start from the understanding that the dimension of the theory and practice, in itself contains large potential to explain the contradictions that occur in this context. Analyze the locus, the particularity, where education with a perspective of social transformation is in process, in particular as an opportunity to see the contradictory movement of the construction of another consciousness and social practice through the school formal, organized within a social movement, it’s a challenge that has been put to research committed to overcoming one-sided education which is reproduced in capitalist society. The MST over its 25 years has built up a proposal for education with socialist perspective. In this process of struggle has sought to legitimize social practices and policies that cover this purpose. The school is a major target in this way build social and human development, and its theory as pedagogical support. In order to enhance the school this perspective, the problem of research sought to answer: What are the tensions and contradictions between theory and practice of teaching the school that the MST is to approach and move away from a pedagogy that helps to overcome the capital? Reached the provisional conclusion that the educational theory of the Movement has contributed in part to the realization of their proposal by the School of the MST, one of the reasons for this limitation is the distance from the assumptions in relation to pedagogical demands that the school presents in its reality. This School MST revealed the need to construct methodologies that were to work to realize the reality and the contradictions of the social practice of the settlement. These findings point to the need for a self-questioning, self-criticism on the part of educational theory and the school of the MST. Both in reference to their conceptions of the philosophical and pedagogical, and for a review of its assumptions, its validity and applicability in the field of methodological and pedagogical practice. It was found that the tensions and contradictions explained in this research will not be overcome and not answered by the applicability of different matrices or pedagogical understanding the Movement as an educational principle
