KONSEP PENDIDIKAN ISLAMI MENURUT MOHAMMAD NATSIR : Studi Pada Buku Capita Selecta Karya Mohammad Natsir
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh seorang tokoh dari sekian banyak pemikir tentang pendidikan dan Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Tokoh tersebut adalah Mohammad Natsir (1908-1993). Mohammad Natsir hidup dalam keorganisasian islam, ia banyak berkiprah dalam bidang pendidikan, politik dan dakwah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Library Research dalam mengkaji konsep pemikiran Mohammad Natsir dengan bantuan buku-buku tulisan beliau sendiri maupun buku-buku tulisan orang lain yang menceritakan tentang Konsep Pendidikan Islami menurut Mohammad Natsir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep Mohammad Natsir tentang Pendidikan Islami adalah Pendidikan harus membawa manusia mendapat penghidupan yang layak di dunia, berakhlakul karimah, dan menghambakan diri kepada Allah. Tujuan Pendidikan Menurut Mohammad Natsir adalah untuk menciptakan pribadi yang baik dan hamba Allah yang senantiasa taqwa kepada Allah SWT. Ilmu dalam Islam, diharapkan mampu memupuk dan mempertebal keimanan, demikian pula sebaliknya, keimanan yang tebal hendaknya mampu mendorong semangat dalam mencari ilmu. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar pertimbangan dalam mengembangkan proses Pendidikan Islam dan mengevaluasi Pendidikan Islam yang dikembangkan oleh Mohammad Natsir. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, temuan penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan terutama bagi yang ingin melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dan tentu saja dengan menggunakan penelitian yang berbeda dengan penelitian ini.

This research is motivated by a figure of many about education and Islamic education in Indonesia. The figure is Mohammad Natsir (1908-1993). Mohammad Natsir organizational life in Islam, he was more active in the fields of education, politics and propaganda. This study uses the Library Research in assessing the concept of thought Mohammad Natsir with the help of books of his own writings and books written by others that tell about the concept of Islamic Education according to Mohammad Natsir. The results showed that the concept Mohammad Natsir on Islamic Education is education must bring men got a decent living in the world, berakhlakul karimah, and devote themselves to God. According to Mohammad Natsir Education goal is to create good personal and servant of God that always pious to Allah SWT. Science in Islam, is expected to nurture and strengthen the faith, and vice versa, bold faith should be able to encourage the search for knowledge. The results could be used as a basis for consideration in developing and evaluating the process of Islamic Education Islamic Education developed by Mohammad Natsir. For further research, the findings of this study can be used as a reference, especially for those who want to do further research and of course by using different research with this study.

PEMIKIRAN POLITIK MOHAMMAD HATTA DALAM PERGERAKAN NASIONAL INDONESIA TAHUN 1922-1941

The objectives of research are to find out: (1) thebiography of Mohammad
Hatta, (2) Mohammad Hatta’s Political Thinking, (3)the role of Mohammad
Hatta’s Political Thinking in Indonesian national movement in 1922-2941.
This study employed a historical method. The data sources used were
newspaper, literatures, and other sources includingpictures and written sources.
Techniques of collecting data used were library study and interview. Technique of
analyzing data used was historical analysis technique, the one emphasizing the
depth in processing a historical data. The procedure of research was done through
four steps of activities: heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiography.
Considering the result of research, it can be concluded that: (1) Mohammad Hatta
was born on August 12, 1902 in Bukittinggi, West Sumatera. Mohammad Hatta
was raised in his mother family’s environment. Mohammad Hatta’s formal
education started with Europese Lagere School(ELS), then followed with Meer
Vitgebreid Lager Onderwijs(MULO), and then continued with Prins Hendrik
School(PHS), after which, Mohammad Hatta continued his education in a
College in Netherlands, Handels Hooge School(HHS) and Nederlandache
Handels Hooge School(NHH). His organization history began when he occupied
the treasurer position in JSB Padang in 1916-1919. When he was in Netherlands,
he became a member of Indonesische Vereniging in 1922-1925. Mohammad
Hatta became the chairman of PI in 1925-1930. He represented Indonesia in
League against Imperialism and Colonialism Movementin Berlin in 1927-1931,
then attended the IV International Democratic Congress in Paris in 1936.
Returning to Indonesia in 1932, he became the chairman of Indonesian National
Education in 1934-1935. (2) Mohammad Hatta’s Political Thinking was put onto
his pleading speech during a trial in Den Haag Nethedlands. His idea about non-cooperation is very strong seen from his refusal tothe existence of Volksaraad.
His thought about people democracy was used as the foundation of Indonesian
country establishment. (3) The role of Mohammad Hatta’s Political Thinking in
Indonesian national movement is his joining with the PI membership in
Netherlands, and becoming the chairman of that organization. Mohammad Hatta
propagandized Indonesian’s desire to be independentto outside world. Returning
to Indonesia, Mohammad Hatta participated in the establishment of New PNI.
Mohammad Hatta also applied the Cadre education system in establishing the
next generation of leaders
