Nowadays, mobile banking becomes a popular tool which consumers can conduct financial transactions such as shopping, monitoring accounts balance, transferring funds and other payments. Consumers dependency on mobile needs, make people take a little bit more interest in mobile banking. The use of the one-time password which is sent to the user mobile phone by short message service (SMS) is a vulnerability which we want to solve with proposing a new scheme called S-Mbank. We replace the authentication using the one-time password with the contactless smart card to prevent attackers to use the unencrypted message which is sent to the user's mobile phone. Moreover, it deals vulnerability of spoofer to send an SMS pretending as a bank's server. The contactless smart card is proposed because of its flexibility and security which easier to bring in our wallet than the common passcode generators. The replacement of SMS-based authentication with contactless smart card removes the vulnerability of unauthorized users to act as a legitimate user to exploit the mobile banking user's account. Besides that, we use public-private key pair and PIN to provide two factors authentication and mutual authentication. We use signcryption scheme to provide the efficiency of the computation. Pair based text authentication is also proposed for the login process as a solution to shoulder-surfing attack. We use Scyther tool to analyze the security of authentication protocol in S-Mbank scheme. From the proposed scheme, we are able to provide more security protection for mobile banking service.Comment: 6 page

Trypsin is an enzyme that has a unique mechanism of cutting peptide bonds specifically at the carboxyl side of lysine or arginine amino acids, with another amino acid. This study aims to analyze a trypsin-like protease (TLP) found in Lactobacillus plantarum FNCC 0270,  by performing partial proteomic tests, i.e. MALDI-TOF/TOF, and standard bioinformatics tools. SDS-PAGE analysis showed 4 protein bands. Two bands of the (P1 and P2) showed molecular weights equivalent to 47.35 and 38.42 kD, each generating 8 and 11 peptide fragments respectively. According to information in www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genbank/structures, the structure  of serine protease HtrA (subs. plantarum L. plantarum ST–III) consists of three domains. Using Clone Manager® software by aligning two sequences we obtained eleven. The Lactobacillus produces of the trypsin-like serine protease has 40-90% similarity. Using the Clustal W2 software we passed the 11 sequences through multiple alignments, and found that the isolate L. plantarum is closely related to L. buchneri, L. brevis, and L. malefermentans on the phylogenetic tree. Alignment analysis results showed that all 8 peptide fragments of band 1 and 11 peptide fragments of band 2,  of the SDS-PAGE, were located in the active domain region of  the fourth trypsin-like serine protease producing Lactobacilli

(Health Science Journal of Indonesia 2019;10(2):77-81) Kata kunci: sel punca kanker payudara, viabilitas sel, HDAC2, PCNA, endoksifen   Abstract Background: Breast cancer stem cells (BCSCs) are subpopulation of cancer cells that has the ability to generate new tumor and similar properties to stem cell. Our previous study using breast cancer patients revealed that gene expression of histone deacetylase 2 (HDAC2) and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) were significantly altered after neoadjuvant hormone and chemotherapy. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between HDAC2 and PCNA expressions with the viability of breast cancer stem cells aldehyde dehydrogenase + (BCSC ALDH+) treated by endoxifen. Method: Samples are human primary BCSCs ALDH+ that treated with 4 uM of endoxifen for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 days, respectively. Cell viability was measured using trypan blue exclusion assay and the mRNA expressions of HDAC2 and PCNA were determined using qRT-PCR. Results: The viability of BCSCs ALDH+ was decreased after 2 days until 4 days-endoxifen treatment. It also demonstrated that mRNA expression of HDAC2 and PCNA were decreased in this period. But after 8 days endoxifen treatment, the viability of BCSCs ALDH+ was increased. The increasing of viability was higher in 14 days-endoxifen treatment. The mRNA expression of HDAC2 and PCNA also showed increasing begin on 8 days and continued to increase until 14-days endoxifen treatment. We found a similar pattern between HDAC2 and PCNA expression and cell viability. Conclusion: Prolonge endoxifen treatment decrease sensitivity of endoxifen effect in human BCSC and the expression of HDAC2 and PCNA are correlated to human BCSCs viability after endoxifen treatment. Hypobaric hypoxia is situation that might occur to helicopter pilots in Indonesia who must fly at an altitude of more than 3,048 m such as in Papua. It can be dangerous because hypoxic condition can affect person's performance. So far, the heart is known as an aerobic organ and very sensitive to hypoxic conditions. Hitherto, the effects of hypobaric hypoxia exposure on biomolecular aspects of the heart are still unclear. Therefore, this study assessed cardiac response in rats exposed to intermittent hypobaric hypoxia (IHH) (equivalent to 3,048 meters/10,000 feet). Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into six groups: control; acute hypobaric hypoxia (AHH); and IHH, for 7; 14; 21; and 28 days. We measured super oxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) activities, reduced glutathione (GSH), malondialdehyde (MDA), cytoglobin, myoglobin, HIF-1α, and Nrf2 level as our parameters. Activities of SOD, CAT, GPx and GSH increased while the levels of MDA, cytoglobin, myoglobin, HIF-1α, and Nrf2 decreased in all IHH groups compared with the AHH group. A biphasic pattern was observed as IHH sessions increased from 14 to 21 or 28. Where the IHH treatment for more than 14 sessions caused a decrease in endogenous antioxidants, but the response to hypoxia and oxidative stress increased. Our findings presented the molecular alterations of cardiac rats exposed to intermittent hypobaric hypoxia

Objective: Strokes remain a significant health concern and are the highest cause of mortality and physical or mental disability in productive and the elderly hospitalized patients in Indonesia. Neuroglobin (Ngb) mostly located in the central and peripheral nervous system, predicted enhanced neuronal survival under hypoxic condition, such as in a stroke. The aim of this study is to observe the response of the brain tissue of hemorrhagic stroke patients against hypoxic/ischemic conditions. The objectives are to recognize the pattern of Ngb expression in the brain tissue and plasma of hemorrhagic stroke patients, and furthermore, to compare the level of Ngb in the brain tissue and plasma of hemorrhagic stroke patients. Methods: This is an observational study with consecutive sampling methods using cerebral cortex and the blood of hemorrhagic stroke patients, who underwent craniotomies to evacuate hematomas at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) and other hospitals in Jakarta. Ngb expression was measured in brain tissue and blood using real time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, while the ELISA method was adopted to measure Ngb protein in plasma. Results: Hypoxia/ischemia in the brain tissue of hemorrhagic stroke patients increased the expression of Ngb in brain tissue compared to the blood. The level of Ngb protein in plasma of hemorrhagic stroke patients increased significantly compared to normal subjects; however, there is no significant difference between the plasma and brain tissue of hemorrhagic stroke patients. Conclusion: Hypoxia/ischemia in hemorrhagic stroke patients increases the expression of Ngb mRNA and protein level. Keywords: Neuroglobin, Hypoxia, Hemorrhagic stroke
