Lithologic and electrometric characteristic of productive layers of the gurarinckiy-sobolinniy deposit low-chalky adjourments
The construction of abnormal geochemical fields accompanying gold mineralization is investigated; criteria of its quantitative estimation are developed. Orderliness estimation methods of geochemical field abnormal structures and intensity of hydrothermal process are offered. Dependence between quantitative parameters of these structures and scales of gold mineralization is established. Estimation possibility of deposits and ore fields erosive section by parameter values of abnormal geochemical fields is shown

Severo Ochoa and the Biomedical Sciences in Spain under Franco, 1959-1975
The influence of Severo Ochoa in the establishment of biochemistry and molecular biology in Spain is the central topic of this essay. From the time he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1959, Ochoa's links with Spanish scientists and top authorities in education and science became instrumental to the development of these areas in the country of his birth. Ochoa's influence is analyzed through investigation of three "events": the reception of the award in Spain and some of its immediate consequences; his role in the VIth Meeting of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies, held in Madrid in 1969; and the international scientific symposium, held in Madrid and Barcelona, that celebrated his seventieth birthday in 1975. After an account of Ochoa's biography up to 1959, analysis of these events shows that Ochoa's influence cannot be understood without taking into account the political and scientific context of its reception.Peer reviewe
Применение метода подвижных клеточных автоматов для оптимизации внутренней структуры эндопротеза тазобедренного сустава человека
На основе метода подвижных клеточных автоматов проведено изучение влияния конструкционных изменений эндопротеза тазобедренного сустава человека на деформационные и прочностные свойства, а также динамику генерации и развития повреждений в системе "сустав-эндопротез-бедренная кость". Структура протеза модифицировалась введением в шейку демпфирующих включений и нанесением покрытия на ножку имплантата. Показано, что наличие таких включений практически не изменяет прочность системы, но при этом ведет к заметному увеличению предельной деформации структуры "кость - протез", а также оказывает влияние на динамику зарождения и развития повреждений в костной ткани
Comparative analysis of the effect of low-dimensional alumina structures on cell lines L929 and Neuro-2a
The paper presents the toxicity evaluation of nanostructures on the basis of alumina of different shape (nanofibers, nanoplates, nanosheets, nanosheet agglomerates) and with similar physical and chemical properties (particle size, specific surface area, phase composition, and zeta potential). The nanostructures were examined by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), low-temperature nitrogen adsorption, and dynamic light scattering (DLS). The cytotoxicity of nanostructures was estimated using L929 fibroblast cells and Neuro-2a tumor cells. It has been found that the L929 cells are less subject to the influence of alumina nanoparticles than the Neuro-2a tumor cells. Probably, the differences in the proliferation activity of normal and tumor cells in contact with the synthesized nanostructures are due to a change in the pH of the cell microenvironment
Rheology of StelliteTM 21 Alloy in Semi-Solid State
The main objective of this study was to conduct an analysis of the rheological properties of StelliteTM 21 alloy in the
semi-solid state, as the results could be used for identifying the appropriate temperature range for thixoforming of this alloy,
and a secondary objective of the experimental work was the development of mathematical model of the alloy’s apparent
viscosity. Such viscosity models are necessary for numerical simulations of the thixoforming processes. The StelliteTM 21 alloy
exhibits high hardness and thus shaping in the semi-solid state is promising route of production of parts from this alloy. Within
the confines of experimental work the measurement methods of the rheological properties at high temperatures was developed.
They are based on the use of specially designed viscometer equipped with high temperature furnace.
