    Chemi-ionization in Solar Photosphere: Influence on the Hydrogen Atom excited States Population

    In this paper, the influence of chemi-ionization processes in H(n2)+H(1s)H^*(n \ge 2) + H(1s) collisions, as well as the influence of inverse chemi-recombination processes on hydrogen atom excited-state populations in solar photosphere, are compared with the influence of concurrent electron-atom and electron-ion ionization and recombination processes. It has been found that the considered chemi-ionization/recombination processes dominate over the relevant concurrent processes in almost the whole solar photosphere. Thus, it is shown that these processes and their importance for the non-LTE modeling of the solar atmosphere should be investigated further

    The Influence of Chemi-ionization and Recombination Processes on Spectral Line Shapes in Stellar Atmospheres

    In this work, the chemi-ionization processes in atom- Rydberg atom collisions, as well as the corresponding chemi-recombination processes are considered as factors of influence on the atom exited-state populations in weakly ionized layers of stellar atmospheres. The presented results are related to the photospheres of the Sun and some M red dwarfs as well as weakly ionized layers of DB white dwarfs atmospheres. It has been found that the mentioned chemi ionization/recombination processes dominate over the relevant concurrent electron-atom and electron-ion ionization and recombination process in all parts of considered stellar atmospheres. The obtained results demonstrate the fact that the considered chemi ionization/recombination processes must have a very significant influence on the optical properties of the stellar atmospheres. Thus, it is shown that these processes and their importance for non-local thermodynamic equilibrium (non-LTE) modeling of the solar atmospheres should be investigated further.Comment: arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with arXiv:1105.213

    Electrical conductivity of plasmas of DB white dwarf atmospheres

    The static electrical conductivity of non-ideal, dense, partially ionized helium plasma was calculated over a wide range of plasma parameters: temperatures 1104KT1105K1\cdot 10^{4}\textrm{K} \lesssim T \lesssim 1\cdot 10^{5}\textrm{K} and mass density 1×106g/cm3ρ2g/cm31 \times 10^{-6} \textrm{g}/\textrm{cm}^{3} \lesssim \rho \lesssim 2 \textrm{g}/\textrm{cm}^{3}. Calculations of electrical conductivity of plasma for the considered range of plasma parameters are of interest for DB white dwarf atmospheres with effective temperatures 1104KTeff3104K1\cdot 10^{4}\textrm{K} \lesssim T_{eff} \lesssim 3\cdot 10^{4}\textrm{K}. Electrical conductivity of plasma was calculated by using the modified random phase approximation and semiclassical method, adapted for the case of dense, partially ionized plasma. The results were compared with the unique existing experimental data, including the results related to the region of dense plasmas. In spite of low accuracy of the experimental data, the existing agreement with them indicates that results obtained in this paper are correct

    Architectural design in a new social order: Re-exploring the reasons for application of spatial standards

    The essence of the problem in this paper has been recognized in deterioration of public and residential space in the city, after deregulation of architecture in neoliberal context. This field is marked by increasing lack of rules-especially spatial standards in the architectural practice. Therefore, re-exploring the application of space standards in modern context is needed. The paper, thus, tries to give the answer to the following question: why contemporary architectural practice does not insist on standards for the design and planning any longer? Since the production of space in neoliberal context is powered by mighty individuals who tend to be unique and to manifest power, using the spatial standards in architecture is not welcome. However, neo-Marxist orientation tries to revive the critical reflection of reality, and its main task is to define the standards and types derived from the spatial context. Different approaches, both theoretical and practical ones are necessary requirements in profession. A clear visibility of method is required for problem solving. The wider population should influence the architectural theory and practice by common set of criteria/standards. Finally, both ideological orientations mentioned are based on those who produce urban space and not on those who speculates with it

    The Seedtime and the Maturity Groups Influencing the Number of Pods Per Plant on Soybean

    The experiments were arranged according to the method of random block system with three repetitions on basic field parcels of 12.5 m2, within a three-year period (1998, 1999 and 2(00). The average number of the pods in the all seedtimes and for all varieties for the three year period (1998-2000) is 96. and it is 33.696 less than the average number of formed flowers. The average number of pods per plant for the thn1e year period in the seedtime is 10% bigger (101) in the first seedtime (21 march), than the fourth ssedtime (21 april). The variety with longer vegetation (group of maturity) "111",. during the three year period formes, the biggest numbs of pods per plant (121), but the variety with shorter vegetation (I group of ageing) .015" forms the smallest number of pods per plant (63)
