    Sindromul neuroleptic malign la utilizarea neurolepticelor atipice în tratamentul schizofreniei

    Background. Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) as an adverse reaction to the use of atypical neuroleptics (AN) is present in 0.02 - 3 % of patients, being determined by age, sex, diagnosis and the group of atypical neuroleptics that were administered. Objective of the study. Analysis and systematization of the adverse reactions (neuroleptic malignant syndrome) produced by atypical neuroleptics. Material and Methods. The articles from the PubMed and MEDLINE database were selected and analyzed according to the keywords “neuroleptic malignant syndrome”, “atypical antipsychotic drugs”, “treatment of schizophrenia”. Results. He pathophysiology of this adverse reaction is not fully elucidated, a hypothesis is the rapid blockade of D2 receptors in the CNS. NMS includes such symptoms as: instability, extrapyramidal disorders, hyperpyrexia, and altered mental state. When using AN as clozapine, risperidone, olanzapine and quentiapine SNM occurred on average on the 14th day. Thus, on the background of the treatment with clozapine SNM was manifested in 30%, in the administration of risperidone in 38%, in the administration of olanzapine in 27%, and quentiapine in 5% of cases. Conclusion. Thus, we can say that in terms of treatment with AN, the SNM rate is lower than with the use of typical neuroleptics or it may simply be a reflection of doctors' awareness and the followup of early treatment with more harmless and contemporary drugs. Introducere. Sindromul neuroleptic malign (SNM) ca reacție adversă la utilizarea neurolepticelor atipice (NA) este prezent la 0,02-3% din pacienți, fiind determinat de vârstă, sex, diagnostic și grupa de neuroleptice atipice care a fost administrată. Scopul lucrării. Analiza și sistematizarea reacțiilor adverse (sindromul neuroleptic malign) produse de neuroleptice atipice. Material și Metode. S-au selectat și analizat articolele din baza de date PubMed și MEDLINE după cuvintele-cheie: „neuroleptic malignant syndrome”,”atypical antipsychotic drugs”, “treatment of schizophrenia”. Rezultate. Fiziopatologia acestei reacții adverse nu e pe deplin elucidată, o ipoteză fiind blocarea rapidă a receptorilor D2 din SNC. SNM include așa simptome ca: instabilitate, dereglări extrapiramidale, hiperpirexie și stare mentală modificată. La utilizarea NA ca clozapină, risperidonă, olanzapină și quentiapină SNM a apărut în medie la a 14-a zi. Astfel că pe fon de tratament cu clozapină SNM s-a manifestat în 30%, la administrarea risperidonei în 38%, la administrarea olanzapinei în 27%, iar quentiapinei în 5% cazuri. Concluzii. Astfel putem spune că pe fon de tratament cu NA, rata SNM este mai joasă decât la utilizarea neuroleptice tipice sau poate pur și simplu să fie o reflectare a conștientizării medicilor și urmarea tratamentului precoce cu medicamente mai inofesive și contemporane

    For the same macroeconomic variables more predictions can be made, using different forecasting forecasting. The most important step is the choice of the prediction with the highest degree of accuracy, this being used in establishing the governmental policies or the monetary policy by the central bank. We made short run forecasts (January 2012-March 2012) for variables as inflation rate, unemployment rate and interest rate for Romania using techniques like: econometric modeling, exponential smoothing technique and moving average method. In order to improve the forecasts accuracy, we used two empirical strategies: making combined prognosis and building the forecasts based on historical accuracy indicators. The predictions based on exponential smoothing technique have the highest degree of acuracy, being superior to those got applying the strategies of improving the accuracy

    POJEDNOSTAVLJENI PRISTUPI MODELIRANJU OKVIRA S ISPUNOM

    In many seismic areas, reinforced-concrete frames are filled with masonry infill walls. The behavior of these structural composite systems are difficult to model, and existing regulations lack guidelines for their design. In most cases, the masonry infill is excluded from the design process because it is considered a non-structural element. However, excluding them can have significant negative consequences. A properly modeled and designed reinforced-concrete frame with infill can significantly affect the strength, stiffness, and energy dissipation of the frame structure. In fact, a masonry infill combined with a relatively flexible reinforced-concrete frame certainly takes part in the resistance to horizontal actions. To investigate this issue, we modeled the behavior of frame structures with masonry infills in three ways: First, we used a linear seismic method of equivalent horizontal forces, applied to six models with different heights, modeling the masonry infill with “shell” finite elements. Second, we performed the same analysis with a “link” element as a compressive strut. Third, we used nonlinear dynamic analysis to consider the concentrated plasticity of columns and beams and a nonlinear model with the masonry infill considered a compressive strut. In each modeling approach, the masonry infill significantly affected the behavior of the structures and their dynamic response to seismic actions.U mnogim zemljama i seizmičkim područjima, armiranobetonski okviri ispunjeni su zidanom ispunom, tako predstavljajući konstrukcijski kompozitni sustav čije ponašanje je teško predvidjeti i modelirati, što vodi do nedostatka smjernica za projektiranje u postojećim propisima. Zidane ispune najčešće se smatra nekonstrukcijskim elementom te se redovito ne uključuju u proračun, što može imati znatne negativne posljedice. Dokazano je da pravilno modeliran i projektiran armiranobetonski okvir s ispunom ima bitan utjecaj na čvrstoću, krutost i disipaciju energije okvirnih konstrukcija. Naime, smatra se da zidana ispuna, u kombinaciji s relativno fleksibilnim armiranobetonskim okvirima, zasigurno preuzima jedan dio otpornosti na horizontalno djelovanje. S obzirom na ovu problematiku, provedena su tri načina modeliranja ponašanja okvirne konstrukcije sa zidanom ispunom. Prvi pristup je linearna seizmička analiza metodom ekvivalentnih sila na šest različitih modela po visini, te dva načina modeliranja zidane ispune – pomoću “shell” konačnih elemenata te pomoću “link” tlačne dijagonale, programom CSi SAP2000. Drugi pristup obrađuje nelinearnu dinamičku analizu s koncentriranim plastičnostima za stupove i grede te nelinearni model tlačnih dijagonala za zidanu ispunu. Zaključeno je da zidana ispuna u svakom pristupu modeliranja bitno utječe na ponašanje konstrukcije i dinamičke karakteristike pri potresnim djelovanjima

    Resuscitating Old Forest Models to Meet Present Environmental Reporting Needs

    A plethora of forest models were developed by transforming dependent variable, which introduces bias in estimation if appropriate correction are not applied when back-transforming to the original units. The need for accurate reporting of environmental statistics to national and international agencies lead to improvement of existing models or development of new ones. However, in many instances, not only were no original models established, but original data sets are no longer available, which recommends ad-hoc bias corrections of existing models. The present research presents a procedure for bias correction based on information extracted from summary statistics, specifically coefficient of determination and standard error. The transformations considered in this study are trigonometric (i.e. sine, cosine, tangent, arcsine, and arctangent), hyperbolic (i.e., sine, secant, and tangent), power, and logarithm. The method was applied to site index equations of Douglas Fir and Ponderosa Pine [Hann and Scrivani, 1987], and tree volume of 27 species from Romania [Giurgiu, 1974]. Using only the information describing the models, such as variance or range, the proposed method corrected the bias, and proved that estimates can change from 1% (the site index equations of Hann and Scrivani) to 40% (the tree volumes of Giurgiu)

    This paper present the results obtained at National Agricultural Research and Development Institute Fundulea, during 2021-2022, according to the new herbicide treatments: Floramix (70,8 g/kg piroxsulam + 14,2 g/kg florasulam + 70,8 g/kg cloquintocet-mexil - safener) + Dasoil 26-2 N (Adjuvant); Pallas (7.5% piroxsulam + 7.5% cloquintocet-mexil safener) + Adjuvant; Omnera + Foxtrot 69 EW (135 g/l fluroxypyr + 30 g/l thifensulfuron metil + 5 g/l metsulfuron metil 69 g/l fenoxaprop-P-etil + 34,5 g/l cloquintocet mexil - safener) și Pixxaro Super (2 g/l halauxifen-metil + 280 g/l fluroxipir meptil + 12 g/l cloquintocet-mexil), postemergently applied for the weeds controlling from the w. wheat crop. The main objective of this work focused on the study of the selectivity and effectiveness of the application of herbicide treatments to combat monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds present in the wheat crop. Wheat is an important crop affected by many weeds which, fortunately, can be effectively controlled by specific applications of herbicides. The herbicides must be correlated with the infestation degree of weed, the spectrum and dominance of weeds, the time of application, the technical potential for efficacy, the local climatic conditions
