Aplicació de la metodologia d’aprenentatge basat en Projectes (ABP) a l’assignatura de Tecnologia de 4t d’ESO”

Català: L’objectiu d’aquest treball és elaborar una programació corresponent a l’assignatura de Tecnologia de 4t d’ESO aplicant la metodologia d’Aprenentatge Basat en Projectes (ABP). Es proposa una programació de tot el curs entorn a la construcció d’una maqueta al taller de Tecnologia i a l'aula ordinària. Es desenvolupen les unitats didàctiques corresponents i una guia del projecte com a eina de treball de l’alumnat. No s’hi inclou el desenvolupament de recursos didàctics específics per dur a terme les activitats proposades. La programació del curs consta de quatre fases consecutives corresponents a quatre unitats didàctiques (UD), cadascuna d’elles amb uns objectius i desenvolupament concrets: 1. UD 1. Fase 1. Introducció del projecte 2. UD 2. Fase 2. Planificació del projecte 3. UD 3. Fase 3. Desenvolupament del projecte 4. UD 4. Fase 4. Avaluació i conclusions Cada unitat didàctica inclou els objectius, les competències bàsiques, la seqüència d'activitats i els criteris i procediment d'avaluació. La metodologia ABP es basa fonamentalment en el treball cooperatiu mitjançant grups formals que treballen per construir un objecte real o virtual. L’alumnat treballa de manera autònoma en base a la guia del projecte, prèviament lliurada, on es troben tots els requeriments necessaris per a la seva realització. El professorat no imparteix la matèria sinó que es presenta com a assessor i guia en el procés d’aprenentatge de l’alumnat, proporcionant recursos didàctics i recolzament davant els dubtes que van sorgint al llarg dels desenvolupament del projecte. L’ABP aprofundeix en el tractament de les competències bàsiques considerant l’alumnat com a centre del seu propi aprenentatge, potenciant l’autonomia i la iniciativa personals, l’aprenentatge significatiu, el sentit crític i els valors del treball cooperatiu. S'hi consideren diverses metodologies d'avaluació per tal d'avaluar l'assoliment de competències bàsiques: proves orals, escrites i pràctiques, tant a nivell individual com de grup. Solving Scheduling Problems with Genetic Algorithms using a Priority Encoding Scheme

Scheduling problems are very hard computational tasks with several applications in multitude of domains. In this work we solve a practical problem motivated by a real industry situation, in which we apply a genetic algorithm for finding an acceptable solution in a very short time interval. The main novelty introduced in this work is the use of a priority based chromosome codification that determines the precedence of a task with respect to other ones, permitting to introduce in a very simple way all problem constraints, including setup costs and workforce availability. En este proyecto se encuentra elaborado un Estudio De Factibilidad Para La Creación De Una Comercializadora Internacional De Heliconias Para La Región Risaralda, sustentado en un estudio de mercado hecho a profundidad sobre el estado del mercado de heliconias producidas en la región, aprovechando las bondades que la región ofrece en cuanto a clima, suelos entre otros recursos naturales que permiten obtener heliconias las cuales cumplan con los altos estándares de calidad y poder ser comercializadas en el mercado estadounidense, convirtiendo a Risaralda Heliconias en una empresa tanto financiera como económicamente sostenible que brinde garantías y mejores oportunidades a los productores de Heliconias.This project elaborates the development of a “Feasibility Study for Creating an International Trading Company of Heliconias for the Risaralda Region.” This was based on a in depth study centered on the market state of heliconas produced in the region, taking advantage of the region’s benefits in terms of; climate, soil, and other natural resources that enable the achievement of high quality heliconias, which fulfill the standards needed to be sold on the american market. Children’s improvement of a motor response during backward falls through the implementation of a safe fall program

The World Health Organization has warned that, in children, the second cause of death from unintentional injuries are falls. The objective of this study was to analyze the motor response of primary schoolchildren when a backwards fall occurs. These analyses occurred before and after interventions of the Safe Fall program, which aims to teach safe and protected ways of backward falling. A quasi-experimental research design was used, with a sample of 122 Spanish (Sevillian) schoolchildren in the 10–12 age bracket. The INFOSECA ad-hoc observation scale was used for data collection: this scale registers 5 essential physical reactions throughout the process of a safe and protected backwards fall. After that, a number of descriptive, correlational and contrast statistics were applied. The value used in the McNemar test to establish statistical significance was p < 0.05. Results showed that over 85% of students had developed the competence to correctly perform all five physical motions that allow for a safer backward fall. The teaching of safe and protected techniques for falling backwards in child population in Primary Education is possible through the implementation of the Safe Fall program in Physical Education classes, which can help making falls safer, diminishing the risk and severity of the injuries they cause

Realities and perspectives of software development in Puerto Rico: a new analysis

Currently, within the field of Software Engineering (SE), it has been proposed to integrate four variables to developquality software: i.) A flexible development methodology (traditional, agile, or hybrid) and adapted to the contextparticular to each application, ii.) a work team (trained, experienced, highly innovative, and with leadership), iii.)cutting-edge technologies,represented in the quality of the equipment and tools (automated or semi-automated)facilitating the planning, design, and manufacturing processes of products and, iv.) the inclusion of usabilitytechniques in the process, as a guarantee to manufacture products according to customer needs.A literature search indicates that in Puerto Rico so far,there are no published articles that allow knowing the stateof the art of the SE on the Island and, therefore; the organizational schemes and the type of workgroup thatpredominates in software development companies are unknown. Almost twenty years after the promulgation ofthe Agile Manifesto, in Puerto Rico, the degree of adoption of the new paradigms is still unknown. It is necessaryto search for information within companies to understand what strategies are used by developers and whatbenefits report with their use.This new study seeks to evaluate, synthesize and present the empirical findings on software development inPuerto Rico (PR), to contrast or update the previously collected data and to know the type of applications that arecarried out on the Island, what methodologies of work are the most used, how agile methods are perceived and ifthe approach towards usability techniques has changed in recent decades.
