______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis dissertation is the final Project for the conclusion of the Visual arts course in the University of BrasÃlia (UnB) and presents my research and reflections about the duality between the computerized world and the traditional school with bases on the perspective of visual culture. Starting with my teaching practice during an internship and identifying the mentioned duality. By this point I make a historical retrospective about the teaching of art in Brazil and Europe. So I contextualize the visual culture studies with the connection to digital technology in the educative process. By the end I suggest the use of educational objects as an alternative way of softening this problematic
Assim, ressalta as violações particulares
preconizando a memória.
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de NÃvel Superior (CAPES).This work aims to discuss the transitional justice in Brazil and Colombia after the 1964 civil military dictatorship and the internal armed conflict, respectively, focusing on the Report of the
National Truth Commission in Brazil and the Colombia’s Peace Agreement. It analyses, as of
empirical research and based on the above-cited official documents, how both countries
acknowledged and faced the inheritance of the state violence occurred from the 1960s onwards,
evidencing the gender perspective. Thereby, it highlights the particular violations experienced
by women in context of serious human rights violations due to gender inequality, considering
whether the countries have established transitional justice mechanisms to meet these
particularities. Then it approaches the gender issue influence on the fake news and opposition
to truth and memory policies. It examines the legal nature of anamnesis of the Brazilian and
Colombian amnesty laws, which constitutes themselves as condemnations amnesty, advocating
the memory. Thus, it seeks to discuss the construction of forgetfulness and negationism
narratives, which feature both countries positions, related to the addressed systematic violence
periods, demonstrating the weakening of the democracy even with the democratic transition,
verified by the dismantling of human rights protection and defense policies and the silencing
and invisibilization of vulnerable groups. From the reports of the UN High Commissioner for
Human Rights in Colombia and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights report on
the human rights situation in Brazil, it seeks to identify the countries acting in the field of human
rights in relation to transitional justice and continuity practices of the institutional violence.
After the analysis, it concludes that there was no effective confrontation and overcoming of the
mass violence years, in view of the persistence of the widespread state violence and the
discontinuity of the transitional policies, observed in the non-compliance with the internal and
international guidelines and recommendations, as well as in the reversal of the existing policies

Hydroquinone is a skin- bleaching agent used to treat cutaneous hiperpigmentation. It is a component, which suffers oxidation very easily when exposed to light or oxygen, leading to instability of their emulsions, and causing aesthetic and effectiveness damage of the formulation. One way to prevent the alteration of its stability is the use of containers for storage containing a minimum of indoor air, and makes impossible the passage of light. The vacuum packaging storage system reduces the amount of oxygen present inside, and may be more effective than common packaging to store creams containing hydroquinone. The purpose of this study was to compare the stability of two emulsions hydroquinone 4% which one was stored in plastic containers with screw cap, and another one in vacuum storage containers, both of them opaque, for 90 days. The samples were stored at room temperature, in a refrigerator (4 °C), and in a climatic chamber (45 °C), and were analyzed their physical, physical-chemical and microbiological stability using tests as heat stress, sensory analysis, pH determination, centrifuge test, spreadability and microbiological analysis. Neither emulsions showed instability in the heat stress test, or centrifugation, or growth of microorganisms, but both showed pH reduction, and only the emulsion of the common package presented darkening of the emulsion. The results showed that the emulsion stored in jars with screw cap was unstable compared to emulsion stored in vacuum packaging
Factors associated with hospitalization and death among TB/HIV co-infected persons in Porto Alegre, Brazil
In locations with a high rate of tuberculosis (TB) and HIV infection, there are a number of strategies to prevent negative outcomes such as opportunistic infections, hospitalizations and death, and this article investigates risk factors for the occurrence of hospitalization and death in cases of TB/HIV co-infection in the south of Brazil. The data are taken from a population-based retrospective cohort study on cases of TB/HIV co-infection from 2009 to 2013 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Sociodemographic, epidemiological and clinical variables were analyzed. Relative risk (RR) estimates for hospitalization and death were determined by regression models. There were 2,419 co-infection cases, of which 1,527 (63.1%) corresponded to hospitalizations, and 662 (27.4%) to death. The occurrence of hospitalization was associated with ≤ 7 years of schooling (RR = 3.47, 95%CI: 1.97–6.29), 8–11 years of schooling (RR = 2.56, 95%CI: 1.44–4.69), place of origin—district health authorities Northwest/Humaitá/Navegantes/Ilhas (RR = 2.01, 95%CI: 1.44–2.82), type of entry into the surveillance system as in cases of reentry after withdrawal (RR = 1,35, 95%CI: 1.07–1.70), closure in surveillance as in withdrawal of treatment (RR = 1.47, 95%CI: 1.18–1.83) and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (RR = 3.94, 95%CI: 1.97–8.81). The occurrence of death was associated with age (RR = 1.07, 95%CI: 1,01–1,14), ≤ 7 years of schooling (RR = 3.94, 95%CI: 2.26–7.09), 8–11 years of schooling (RR = 2.84, 95%CI: 1.61–5.16), place of origin—district health authorities Baltazar (RR = 2.05, 95%CI: 1.48–2.86), type of entry in the surveillance system as cases of re-entry after withdrawal (RR = 1.53, 95%CI: 1.22–1.91), relapse (RR = 1.33, 95%CI: 1.03–1.73). The occurrence of hospitalizations and deaths is high among co-infected patients. Our estimation approach is important in order to identify, from the surveillance data, the risk factors for hospitalization and death in co-infected patients, so that they may receive more attention from the Brazilian national healthcare system
