This work aims to study the educational profile of the Federal District and assess, in the DF economy, direct and indirect impacts with regard to job creation and wages by level of education, from changes resulting from increased final demand (Y). The education levels were divided into ten classes to enable the assessment of the effects public policy on the production system. The study used the input-output model, known as Leontief model. On the subject, Silva (2008) made similar analysis in bahian economy, so this study is to apply this methodology for the Federal District. Throughout the study, they will be addressed aspects of education policy in the state of DF, with the goals and strategies established by the National Education Plan and its relation to human capital. The methodology addressed arrays of intersectoral relations, production and consumption tables as well as the widely used instrument, the input-output model. From this instrumental presents analysis of education impacts on the generation of employment and income. The results showed that workers with completed secondary education have a greater chance of getting jobs in the sectors of the local economy, however, the highest salaries are for the most skilled workers, which have educated from the university degree

Autism is classified as a global developmental disorder, characterized by growth sharply atypical in social interaction and in communication and the presence of a restricted repertoire of activities and personal interests (APA, 2013). Based on this was realized this analysis essay of the American series Atypical, where the main character Samuel, a young of 18 years old diagnosed with ASD goes through moments of anguish, when seeks his independence, having an overprotective mother, an older sister who seeks to welcome, a father having difficulty communicating with him and friends who serve as motivation for your daily development. The idea is postulated that when an illness or disability occurs in one of the family members, a chain of emotional stages occurs and attitudinal approximately constant and universal, these being: shock, denial, depression, adaptation and reorganization (Klüber-Ross, 1996). It can be said that the discussion of the topic addressed is of total relevance so that there is greater inclusion of patients with ASD, intending to contribute to the increase of society's knowledge about the challenges faced by autistic patients, their families and friends.
Abstract

Background

Increased visceral adipose tissue (VAT) and intramyocellular lipids (IMCL) are associated with increased metabolic risk. Clinical and DXA body composition measures that are associated with VAT are generally even more strongly associated with subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT) reflecting general adiposity, and thus are not specific for VAT. Measures more strongly associated with VAT than SAT (thus more specific for VAT), and predictors of IMCL have not been reported.

Subjects/Methods

We studied 30 girls 12-18 years; 15 obese, 15 normal-weight. The following were assessed: (1) anthropometric measures: waist circumference at the umbilicus and iliac crest (WC-UC and WC-IC), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), waist-to-height ratio (WHtR), (2) DXA measures: total fat, percent body fat (PBF), percent trunk fat (PTF), trunk-to-extremity fat ratio (TEFR), (3) MRI and 1H-MRS: VAT and SAT (L4-L5), soleus-IMCL.

Results

<it>Group as a whole: </it>WC, trunk fat and PBF were more strongly associated with SAT than VAT; none were specific for VAT. In contrast, PTF and TEFR were more significantly associated with VAT (r = 0.83 and 0.81 respectively, p <0.0001 for both) than SAT (r = 0.77 and 0.75, p < 0.0001 for both). Strongest associations of S-IMCL were with WHR (r = 0.66, p = 0.0004). <it>Subgroup analysis: </it>In obese girls, WHR and WHtR were more strongly correlated with VAT (r = 0.62 and 0.82, p = 0.04 and 0.001) than SAT (r = 0.41 and 0.73, p not significant and 0.007), and for DXA measures, PTF and TEFR were more significantly associated with VAT (r = 0.70 and 0.72, p = 0.007 and 0.006) than SAT (r = 0.52 and 0.53, p = 0.07 and 0.06). In controls, PTF and TEFR were more strongly correlated with VAT (r = 0.79, p = 0.0004 for both) than SAT (r = 0.71 and 0.72, p = 0.003 for both). WHR was associated with IMCL in obese girls (r = 0.78, p = 0.008), but not controls.

Conclusion

Overall, WHR (anthropometry), and PTF and TEFR (DXA) are good surrogates for IMCL and for visceral fat respectively in adolescent girls.</p

This article focuses on the use of images in Early Childhood Education in the Municipal Education Network in Goiânia, Brazil. This writing exercise is concerned with questioning how children build images, in addition to thinking about how teachers in this stage of Basic Education have been using images as methodological resources. For this, we developed a brief study about the conception of child presented in the curriculum document of Goiânia for Early Childhood Education. We also conducted a bibliographic research based on the studies of Cunha (2007), Martins (2010) and Derdyk (2015) that address the use of images in early childhood education and the ways of thinking about drawing in early childhood education. Thus, we highlight the way in which images contribute to the construction of imaginaries and discuss their importance and potential in the teaching processes for children.O presente artigo focaliza o uso de imagens na Educação Infantil da Rede Municipal de Educação de Goiânia.

Accumulation of organic and inorganic solutes in NaCl-stressed sorghum seedlings from aged and primed seeds

Although it has been known that the seed's physiological potential affects its response to osmoconditioning and abiotic stresses, researches involving seed aging and priming associated to abiotic stresses are scarce. The aim of this work was to evaluate the role of seed priming on salt tolerance in sorghum seedlings from seeds with two vigor levels (aged or non-aged) and to verify the organic and inorganic solute contributions as osmoregulators in NaCl-stressed seedlings from aged and primed seeds. The combinations of two seed vigor levels (aged or not), two seed types (primed or not) and two salinity levels (exposed to NaCl at 100 mM or not) were evaluated. In low physiological quality seeds (aged seeds), priming provided an attenuation of salinity's negative effects (0 or NaCl at 100 mM) on seedling growth. The accumulation of Na+ and Cl- ions in NaCl-stressed sorghum seedling shoot from primed seeds indicate a plant osmotic adjustment induced by seed priming, which was efficient in reducing the osmotic stress caused by salinity. Proline was the main organic solute that contributed to osmoregulation in NaCl-stressed sorghum seedling shoot and its levels increased due to seed priming. Changes in inorganic and organic solute contents, in both shoot and roots, could have been induced by seed priming and as a function of salt stress tolerance, although the changes in these organs were poorly related to each other

Absenteeism as a mechanism of repression of demand in the Brazilian public sector: accounting reflex in federal education public institutions

Absenteeism is seen as a critical problem in public organizations, since the factors that generate it negatively impact the productivity of organizations. In this sense, considering that Federal Institutions of Higher Education represent almost half of the entire workforce existing in the Federal Executive Branch, this article aims to identify absenteeism, as well as its typification, in addition to measuring its accounting reflex. The methodology adopted was panel data analysis, through the analysis of the absenteeism index with time series from 2008 to 2018. The research findings reinforce that absenteeism is more representative when it is due to a stricto sensu graduate program and medical licenses. Furthermore, it was found that the absenteeism rate doubles every 5 years
