    Micropropagation of grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) seedless cultivar 'Parvana' through lateral bud development

    Factors affecting successful establishment in vitro, rapid proliferation, rooting and acclimatization of grapevine seedless cultivation 'Parvana' were studied. A treatment combination of 2.0 % calcium hypochlorite for 7 minutes plus 70 % ethanol for 3 minutes was found to be effective with 75.0 % of aseptic culture establishment in vitro. The highest number of new microshoots (4.5) was obtained in a culture medium (Gambourg's B5 modification) supplemented with 0.6 mg∙L-1 BAP + 0.2 mg∙L-1 KIN + 0.5 mg∙L-1 GA3. Presence of GA3 in combination with BAP and KIN promoted elongation of shoots. A concentration of 0.4 mg/l IAA in half strength of MS (Murashige and Skoog) proved to be the best for rooting (84.4 % root induction, 4.66 roots with 7.9 cm length). In vitro rooted plantlets were successfully acclimatized, with 82.2 % survival rate in plastic pots containing garden soil, sand and peat moss(1:1:1). In this study an efficient micro propagation technique of grapevine seedless cultivar 'Parvana' was successfully achieved through lateral bud culture. Such a technique would be useful for large scale plant production and in vitro conservation

    This study aims to determine the effect of students' understanding of Mathematics learning using the discussion method learning model with students using conventional learning models. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population subjects in this study were all students of class IV SDN Doyong 04 Tangerang City, totaling 52 students, by taking samples of two classes, namely class IV A which amounted to 23 students as the control class and class IV B as the experimental class. Determination of the sample is done using Nonprobability Sampling. The data collection technique used an essay test instrument consisting of 10 valid and reliable questions. For testing the pretest hypothesis in the study   = 5.232 and   = 2.073. while for testing the experimental class from the t-test results obtained   = 8,339 and   = 2,048 at the significance level (a = 0.05), it can be concluded that it is   rejected and    accepted, meaning that there is an effect of using the discussion method on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students, which is significant between the average value of the experimental class and the control class. This can be interpreted that the learning outcomes of students in Mathematics learning FPB using the discussion method are more effective than using conventional methods

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pembelajaran online yang di jalankan dalam rangka pencegahan penularan angka penyebaran Covid-19. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran online mengakibatkan siswa dan guru tidak bisa tatap muka dan melakukan pembelajaran dari rumah masing-masing. Melalui observasi awal yang dilakukan penulis di SMA N 1 Minas Kab. Siak Prov. Riau pada mata pelajaran kimia, diperoleh bahwa guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan google classroom dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. pada saat melakukan proses pembelajaran menggunakan google classroom siswa dapat membuka aplikasi lain yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pemenfaatan google classrom terhadap hasil belajar kimia di SMA Negeri 1 Minas . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasi yaitu penelitian yang dimaksud untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel. Dalam penelitian ini hubungan antara dua variabel yaitu pemanfaatan google classrom (variabel X) terhadap hasil belajar (variabel Y). Populasi penelitian siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Minas pada mata pelajaran Kimia sebanyak 86 siswa dengan sampel 46 siswa teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket tentang hubungan pemanfaatan google classrom terhadap hasil belajar. Angket diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini terlihat bahwa pemanfaatan google classroom dinilai sangat baik sebesar 34,8% dengan hasil belajar terbanyak dan hasil belajar terbanyak rentang nilai 73-77 yaitu 15 orang (32,6%) dan berdasarkan uji korelasi diperoleh nilai pearson correlation 0,454, dimana nilai tersebut berada diantara 0,400-0,599 dengan kategori sedang. Nilai pearson correlation bertanda positif, artinya semakin meningkat pemanfaatan google classroom maka hal tersebut akan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan nilai R square 20,6%

    Gold targets were irradiated by 4.4GeV deuteron beam at Nuclotron in the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia. Residual nuclei were formed at ground and isomeric states from the interaction of deuteron and gold target, which have been measured and investigated by the induced-activity method. Cross sections of ground and isomeric states were obtained with corresponding isomer ratios of nuclides formed by the reaction as a result of this study

    The objectives of our study was to phenotype Armenian grapevines on the base of cytoembryological, morphometric and phenolic content analysis of 10 wine and 10 table cultivars (Vitis vinifera L.). The presented results suggest that Armenian table grape cultivars have higher level of abnormalities in the process of seed formation than wine cultivars. However, during ovule development, the observed differences between table and wine varieties were not significant. The berry morphometric analysis demonstrated that table cultivars formed significantly larger and heavier berries than wine cultivars. The obtained results show that wine grapes contained significantly higher phenol concentrations than table grapes, in both colored and white grapevine cultivars. The study of phenol composition, an important chemical descriptor in grapevine phenotyping, provides oenological information useful to improve the wine quality. Cultivar characterization could be used as marker for the selection of table and wine grape breeding programs. These results will be upgraded in the database for Armenian grapevine varieties. In future Armenian germplasm will be compared with datasets of neighboring countries, to determine the varietal origins relationships

    ANALYSIS OF NEUTRON FIELDS GENERATED IN SPALLATION TARGETS OF B-URAN EXPERIMENTAL ASSEMBLY USING MONTE CARLO METHOD

    The aim of this paper is to introduce experimental assembly B-URAN and the results of Monte Carlo simulations of neutron fields, which will be generated by using various spallation targets. This experimental assembly was constructed in Joint Institute of Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russian Federation, in order to study accelerator driven systems fundamental characteristics. Beam of 660 MeV protons should be used for that purpose. The MCNP model of such set-up has been developed at Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic. The goal is to get data needed for prediction of reaction rates in detectors placed in B-URAN experimental channels. Such data will be experimentally validated later.
