El proyecto Cultura, identidad e Inclusión nace del trabajo conjunto de los profesores Francisco A. Zurian y Danny Armando González Cueto y de la colaboración entre la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y la Universidad del Atlántico de Barranquilla. El libro reúne las investigaciones de más de quince expertos pertenecientes a reconocidas instituciones académicas españolas, francesas y colombianas bajo el propósito de promover la igualdad y la inclusión en los ámbitos educativos (especialmente académicos) y en los medios de comunicación. La paridad de tratamiento de las mujeres y de las personas LGBTIQ+ en los ámbitos tratados, como en muchos otros aspectos de la sociedad, un objetivo por el cual hay que seguir luchando cotidianamente

EL AMOR EN TIEMPOS DE SIDENTIDADES: Eros y thanatos en las “autohistorias” de Pedro Lemebel y Reinaldo Arenas/ LOVE IN TIMES OF SIDENTIDADES: Eros and thanatos in the "self histories" of Pedro Lemebel and Reinaldo Arenas

No final do século passado, em plena emergência sanitarista devido à pandemia da AIDS, foram produzidas numerosas obras artísticas, literárias, cinematográficas que tratavam a temática.  Antes que anochezca do cubano Reinaldo Arenas e Loco Afán: crónicas de sidario do chileno Pedro Lemebel se colocam dentro de esta tendência geral, aportando ao debate internacional uma perspectiva original, devido às identidades latino americanas e intersecionais dos autores que, de fato, tiveram que confrontar-se pessoalmente no contexto estadunidense, muito diferente ao próprio de pertença. Ambos os textos se colocam entre a erotografía e a tanatografía, em uma viagem de só ida entre a vida, alimentada pelo sexo e a morte, relacionada com o calvário da doença. A AIDS não influenciou somente as artes, sobretudo, influenciou as identidades, levando aos sujeitos envolvidos a questionar novas maneiras de se relacionar dentro e fora da comunidade LGBTIQ (Lésbicas, Gays, Bisexuais, Transgêneros-transexuais, Intersexuais, Queers). "El precio del goce del desprecio": Self-representation, identity and politics in Reinaldo Arenas, Pedro Lemebel and Nahum B. Zenil

L'elaborato ha lo scopo di indagare l'identità intersezionali dei tre artisti oggetto di analisi: Reinaldo Arenas, Pedro Lemebel e Nahum B. Zenil, in relazione alle opere letterarie e artistiche da essi prodotte negli anni Novanta del Novecento. Particolare attenzione è stata posta sui testi autobiografici e i ritratti, in modo da evidenziare le relazioni tra storia individuale e Storia collettiva. Ampio spazio è stato riservato ai linguaggi e alle estetiche dissidenti, a partire dalle teorie elaborate da Judith Butler, su base derridiana, inerenti gli enunciati performativi e alle teorie di Angvik e Ricardo Llamas inerenti le tanatografie e le sidentidades.The paper aims to investigate the intersectional identity of the three artists analyzed: Reinaldo Arenas, Pedro Lemebel and Nahum B. Zenil, in relation to the literary and artistic works produced by them in the nineties of the twentieth century. Particular attention was placed on autobiographical texts and self-portraits, in order to highlight the relationship between the individual and collective history. Ample space has been reserved to the languages and aesthetic dissidents, from theories developed by Judith Butler, based on Derrida, the inherent performative utterances and theories of Angvik and Ricardo Llamas inherent tanatografie and sidentidades

Re-construir un atlas disidente: Un acercamiento al archivo LGBTIQ+ colombiano desde el Caribe

This research proposes a balance of the studies that have been carried out on LGBTIQ+ practices in Colombia, from the last decades of the last century to the 2000s, establishing the categories and literary genres through which it has been deepened in relation to the most innovative theories in the field of gender studies. The purpose was to investigate the levels at which the research proposals have these practices as an object of study in the light of cultural and feminist studies. Through this perspective, the advances achieved in the artistic, cultural and political fields by the protagonists of these stories are reviewed, including especially the transvestites, and the drag queens.La presente investigación propone un balance de los estudios que se han realizado sobre las prácticas LGBTIQ+ en Colombia, a partir de las últimas décadas del siglo pasado hasta los años dos mil, estableciendo las categorías y los géneros literarios a través de los cuales se ha profundizado en relación a las teorías más innovadoras en el ámbito de los estudios de género. El propósito era indagar los niveles en que las propuestas de investigación tienen como objeto de estudio estas prácticas a la luz de los estudios culturales y feministas. A través de esta mirada se revisan los avances logrados paralelamente en el campo artístico, cultural y político por parte de los protagonistas de esos relatos, entre ellos sobre todo las travestis, las transformistas y las drag queens

Radiation Tolerant 3D Laser Scanner for Structural Inspections in Nuclear Reactor Vessels and Fuel Storage Pools

Accurate and timely assessment of displacements and/or structural damages in nuclear reactor vessels' components is a key action in routine inspections for planning maintenance and repairs but also in emergency situations for mitigating consequences of nuclear incidents. Nevertheless, all these components are maintained underwater and reside in high-radiation fields thus imposing harsh operative conditions to inspection devices which must cope with effects such as Cerenkov radiation background, Total Ionizing Radiation (TID), and occlusions in the detectors' field of view. To date, ultrasonic techniques and video cameras are in use for inspection of components' integrity and with measurements of volumetric and surface crack opening displacements, respectively. The present work reports the realization of a radiation tolerant laser scanner and the results of tests in a nuclear research reactor vessel for acquisition of 3D models of critical components. The device, qualified for underwater operation and for withstanding up to 1 MGy of TID, is based on a 515 nm laser diode and a fast-scanning electro-optic unit. To evaluate performances in a significant but controlled environment, the device has been deployed in the vessel of a research reactor operated by ENEA in the Casaccia Research Centre in Rome (Italy). A 3D model of the fuel rods assembly through a cooling water column of 7 m has been acquired. The system includes proprietary postprocessing software that automatically recognizes components of interest and provides dimensional analysis. Possible application fields of the system stretch to dimensional analysis also in spent nuclear fuel storage pools
