The article analyzes the speech abilities of Ukrainian politicians - Yulia Tymoshenko and Arseniy Yatsenyuk based on their performances at the political talk show "Shuster Live". Based on the analysis evaluates their speech abilities and skills. A linguistic analysis of speech of these politicians, and the results compared to the gender aspect. On Transmitting Expressiveness in Belarusian-English Poetic Translation

The present article deals with various lexical, grammatical, stylistic problems encountered by translators while transmitting aspects of expressiveness of the original text (on the example of Belarusian-English poetic translation). The focus of attention is on basic transformation types, which are illustrated by the original and colourful examples. The author of the article considers not only purely linguistic aspects of translation, but also relevant pragmatic adaptation

Non-invasive EEG-based BCI spellers from the beginning to today: a mini-review

The defeat of the central motor neuron leads to the motor disorders. Patients lose the ability to control voluntary muscles, for example, of the upper limbs, which introduces a fundamental dissonance in the possibility of daily use of a computer or smartphone. As a result, the patients lose the ability to communicate with other people. The article presents the most popular paradigms used in the brain-computer-interface speller system and designed for typing by people with severe forms of the movement disorders. Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) have emerged as a promising technology for individuals with communication impairments. BCI-spellers are systems that enable users to spell words by selecting letters on a computer screen using their brain activity. There are three main types of BCI-spellers: P300, motor imagery (MI), and steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP). However, each type has its own limitations, which has led to the development of hybrid BCI-spellers that combine the strengths of multiple types. Hybrid BCI-spellers can improve accuracy and reduce the training period required for users to become proficient. Overall, hybrid BCI-spellers have the potential to improve communication for individuals with impairments by combining the strengths of multiple types of BCI-spellers. In conclusion, BCI-spellers are a promising technology for individuals with communication impairments. P300, MI, and SSVEP are the three main types of BCI-spellers, each with their own advantages and limitations. Further research is needed to improve the accuracy and usability of BCI-spellers and to explore their potential applications in other areas such as gaming and virtual reality

Интерстициальное поражение легких у больной ревматоидным артритом

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a progressive disease, resulting in joint deformation and development of severe functional disorders. Meanwhile, RA patients frequently have systemic inflammatory disorders of internal organs, which may significantly worsen quality of life, labor capacity, and be a factor determining the prognosis. Idiopathic interstitial pneumonia is of particular interest. This disease is characterized by unfavorable prognosis due to progressive fibrous rearrangement of the lung. We report a clinical case of RA with signs of interstitial lung disease.Ревматоидный артрит (РА) характеризуется прогрессирующим течением с формированием деформаций суставов, развитием тяжелых функциональных нарушений. В то же время при этом заболевании часто встречаются и системные воспалительные поражения внутренних органов, которые могут стать причиной существенного ухудшения качества жизни, трудоспособности и в значительной мере определять прогноз. Особое внимание привлекают идиопатические интерстициальные пневмонии (ИИП), отличающиеся неблагоприятным прогнозом вследствие неуклонно прогрессирующей фиброзной перестройки легкого. На основі цього виокремлено провідні категорії політичного тексту, на основі яких подано основні фрейми досліджуваних політичних виступів. Також, було виокремлено сценарії та скрипти цих промов. Саме ці елементи фреймового аналізу дозволили нам розкрити теми, які піднімаються у промові та правильно розставити акценти, основні мотиви мовців та провідні приховані інтенції.   Ключові слова: політична промова, політичне ток-шоу, фреймовий аналіз, фрейм, скрипт, сценарій.     The article analyzes the performances of Ukrainian politicians – Irina Herashchenko, Anatoliy Grytsenko, Yulia Timoshenko and Arseniy Yatsenyuk on the political talk-show "Shuster Live" using methods of frame analysis. This highlights the leading category of political text, on the basis of which are main frames investigated political appearances. Also, it was founded as the scripts and scripts of these speeches. These elements of the frame analysis allowed us to reveal the topics that are raised in a speech and accents properly, the main motives of the speakers and leading the hidden intentions.   Keywords: political speech, political talk shows, frame analysis, frame, script, script
