THE ROLE OF SHARIA BANKS IN DEVELOPING THE ECONOMY IN INDONESIA

Sharia banking whose management is based on sharia mechanisms emphasizes the vision of economic growth and economic development regarding profit sharing in accordance with the size of the contribution between the bank and the customer through a provit sharing system. So that through the Islamic banking system it is hoped that a positive synergy of economic growth and development will be formed. Where economic development places more emphasis on fundamentals for improved management and distribution between banks and customers through a proportional provit sharing system. So that it will create a system of cooperation that is mutually beneficial and at the same time stimulates economic growth and development. To be sure, in sharia banks is where profits and cost sharing are equally proportional to promoting justice. So indirectly the Islamic banks can offer product value or product proportion that is quite attractive to customers. Focusing on the EFL Learners’ Spoken Language: An Analysis of Classroom Discourse

This paper discussed the spoken language produced by adult learners who attended a General English Intermediate course at one of the best English course providers in Indonesia. The writers analyzed examples of inaccurate and accurate spoken language produced by the students during an observed lesson and then shed light on possible reasons for the spoken language from linguistic point of views. The results of this study were intended to offer some insights into the nature of inaccurate and accurate spoken language in the learning of English as a foreign language. Nikah Sirri Dan Istbat Nikah Dalam Pandangan Lembaga Bahtsul Masail Pwnu YOGYAKARTA

This article will address the terminology of sirrimarriages, which has been completely misinterpreted in Indonesia. Besides attempting to clarify this terminological problem, this paper will also discuss the debate on the law of sirrimarriages through the perspectives of classical and contemporary ulamas who have become the source for consideration for activists from BahtsulMasail PWNU Yogyakarta in reacting to this issue. A discussion no less important is the proposal for a new fiqhon marriage (fiqh al-munakahah al-jadidah) recommending the registration of marriage as an extra requirement of the validity of marriage. This paper will offer a solution to address the legal conundrum surrounding Law No. 50 of 2009 and Article 7(3) of the Compilation of Islamic Law, which regulates a court\u27s right to legalize marriages (marital itsbat) prior to the enforcement of Law No. 1 of 1974, whereas many of such requests for itsbat are done for cases of unregistered polygamy after the enactment of Law No. 1 of 1974

Questioning of Authentication and Epistemology in Tafsir Al-Jilani

In this research, the author critically analyzes a biography of Shaikh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani containing sacred myths. The analyst of sacred myth about ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani is based on the approach of applied anthropology to distinguish between the myths that have positive and negative values for Muslim society. This research then analyzes the authenticity of Tafsir al-Jilani and the epistemology of his inter- pretation. ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani is the founder of Qadiriyah. Qadiriyah doctrines has been widely accepted by traditional Muslim groups in Muslim world, so that the study of Tafsir al-Jilani is very meaningful for the followers of Qadiriyah in particu- lar and the lovers of Quranic studies in general to increase their knowledge about the teachings of ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS AND MEANING IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

Many ELT experts believe that the inclusion of critical thinking skills in English classes is necessary to improve students' English competence. Students' critical thinking skills will be optimally increased if meaning is prioritized in English lessons. Those two inter-related elements can be implemented when teachers do collaborative activities stimulating students' thinking process and meaning negotiation. Yet, the realization might be counter-productive if they are applied without careful consideration of task purposes and of students' roles. Based on the consideration, this paper is focused on presenting how critical thinking skills and meaning should be properly incorporated in an English lesson

PENGELOLAAN PROGRAM UNGGULAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN BERBASIS PESANTREN

This research aims to understand and analyze the management of the flagship program of Islamic Religious Education at SMK Nurul Hidayah Al-Falah Mojokerto in facilitating students to contribute to society. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study, where data collection is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis is done through display data, data reduction, and conclusion. The results showed that the management of the Islamic Religious Education's flagship program at SMK Nurul Hidayah Al-Falah Mojokerto in facilitating students to contribute to society was carried out in a planned and systematic manner through strengthening the Islamic Education extracurricular program as a superior program in the institution, which has types of activities. All of these activities are carried out through careful planning and are carried out concerning existing plans and evaluated with the principle of continuous improvement

WAKAF TUNAI PRODUKTIF ALA AL-WASHLIYAH CIREBON : UPAYA EKSPLORASI PERAN WAKAF BAGI TERWUJUDNYA KEMAKMURAN JAMA’AH

Secara sosiologis dan keumuman , pemahaman umat terhadap harta wakaf masih terbatas pada tanah dan bangunan. Pemanfataannya pun terbatas pula pada pendirian masjid, madrasah, pesantren dan pekuburan umum. Pemahaman ini terus berkelindan hingga hari ini, walaupun hal tersebut tidak menyalahi fungsi kemanfaatannya, namun dari sisi menghasilkan kesejahteraan materi yang bisa dinikmati oleh umat dari keberadaan wakaf belumlah maksimal untuk difahami dan diperluas jangkauannya. Hal tersebut bisa saja terjadi akibat dari minimnya dakwah yang transformatif tentang pentingnya wakaf tunai dan contoh beragamnya kemanfaatan wakaf yang bisa digunakan untuk kepentingan komersil. Seperti tanah wakaf untuk bangunan kios dan kolam yang disewakan, hotel, rumah sakit, pusat perbelanjaan, pabrik, pemandian umum dan lain sebagainya. Sehingga prinsip wakaf “memelihara itiknya dan menikmati telornya” bisa tercapai
