Preparation of organic semiconducting thin films by vacuum evaporation
This thesis deals with preparation of organic molecular thin film compounds and its properties like morphology and purity. The vapour deposition was used for thin films preparation, because used materials are very few soluble. Thin films properties were characterized with the infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and scanning electron microscope. There are described basics of infrared spectroscopy, spectra measurement and interpretation in the theoretical part. Process of thin film preparation is also described in this part. In the experimental part are described used vacuum technology and measuring instruments, process of sample measurement and there is the list of studied materials. 12 derivates of diketopyrrolopyrrols (DPP) were studied in this thesis. Diketopyrrolopyrroles (DPP) and its derivates have interesting chemical and physical properties, expecting wide range of applications, especially in electronics industry.
Swedish regional GDP 1855-2000 : estimations and general trends in the Swedish regional system
This paper uses a method devised by Geary and Stark to estimate regional GDPs for 24 Swedish provinces 1855-2007. In empirical tests, we find that the Swedish estimations yield results of good precision, comparable to those reported in the international literature. From the literature, we generate six expectations concerning the development of regional GDPs in Sweden. Using the GDP estimations, we test these expectations empirically. We find that the historical regional GDPs show a high correlation over time, but that the early industrialization process co-evolved with a dramatic redistribution of productive capacity. We show that the regional inequalities in GDP per capita were at their lowest point in modern history in the early 1980s. However, while efficiency in the regional system has never been as equal, absolute regional differences in scale of production has increased dramatically over our investigated period. This process has especially benefited the metropolitan provinces. We also sketch a research agenda from our results.Industrialization, Regional inequality, Regional income, Economic growth
Morphology study of organic molecular compounds thin films
This thesis deals with morphology study of organic molecular thin film compounds. In the second part is then described the experiment. The characteristics and morphology of thin films have been analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Influence of deposition temperature and distance between substrate holder and evaporator boat on film morphology have been analyzed.
(DIPF/Orig.

Emulating the one-dimensional Fermi-Hubbard model by a double chain of qubits
The Jordan-Wigner transformation maps a one-dimensional (1D) spin-

system onto a fermionic model without spin degree of freedom. A double chain of quantum bits with
X

and
Z

couplings of neighboring qubits along and between the chains, respectively, can be mapped on a spin-full 1D Fermi-Hubbard model. The qubit system can thus be used to emulate the quantum properties of this model. We analyze physical implementations of such analog quantum simulators, including one based on transmon qubits, where the
Z

interaction arises due to an inductive coupling and the

interaction due to a capacitive interaction. We propose protocols to gain confidence in the results of the simulation through measurements of local operators
Complex temperature dependence of coupling and dissipation of cavity-magnon polaritons from milliKelvin to room temperature
Hybridized magnonic-photonic systems are key components for future
information processing technologies such as storage, manipulation or conversion
of data both in the classical (mostly at room temperature) and quantum
(cryogenic) regime. In this work, we investigate a YIG sphere coupled strongly
to a microwave cavity over the full temperature range from
down to . The cavity-magnon polaritons are studied from the
classical to the quantum regime where the thermal energy is less than one
resonant microwave quanta, i.e. at temperatures below . We
compare the temperature dependence of the coupling strength ,
describing the strength of coherent energy exchange between spin ensemble and
cavity photon, to the temperature behavior of the saturation magnetization
evolution and find strong deviations at low temperatures. The
temperature dependence of magnonic disspation is governed at intermediate
temperatures by rare earth impurity scattering leading to a strong peak at
K. The linewidth decreases to MHz at mK,
making this system suitable as a building block for quantum electrodynamics
experiments. We achieve an electromagnonic cooperativity in excess of over
the entire temperature range, with values beyond in the milliKelvin
regime as well as at room temperature. With our measurements, spectroscopy on
strongly coupled magnon-photon systems is demonstrated as versatile tool for
spin material studies over large temperature ranges. Key parameters are
provided in a single measurement, thus simplifying investigations
significantly.Comment: 10 pages , 9 figures in tota
