La gestión ambiental para los profesionales de la Cultura Física

The present work was carried out with the objective of substantiating the need for professionals of Physical Culture and Sports to work on environmental management from the point of view of the protection and conservation of the environment and also from the health care of the participants to achieve a better quality of life. As a main result, it provides a didactic procedure for environmental management, valued in its initial state through empirical research methods such as: interviews, surveys and observation, designed to protect and preserve the environment and care for the health of participants.El presente trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de fundamentar la necesidad de que los profesionales de la Cultura Física y el Deporte trabajen la gestión ambiental desde el punto de vista de la protección y conservación del medio ambiente y también desde el cuidado de la salud de los participantes para el logro de una mayor calidad de vida. Como resultado principal aporta un procedimiento didáctico para la gestión ambiental, valorado en su estado inicial mediante métodos empíricos de la investigación tales como: entrevistas, encuestas y la observación, diseñado a la protección y preservación del medio ambiente y al cuidado de la salud de los participantes

Available Bandwidth Estimation Tools Metrics, Approaches and Performance

The estimation of the available bandwidth (av bw) between two end nodes through the Internet, is an area that has motivated researchers around the world in the last twenty years, to have faster and more accurate tools; Due to the utility it has in various network applications; Such as routing management, intrusion detection systems and the performance of transport protocols. Different tools use different estimation techniques but generally only analyze the three most used metrics as av bw, relative error and estimation time. This work expands the information regarding the evaluation literature of the current Available Bandwidth Estimation Tools (ABET’s), where they analyze the estimation techniques, metrics, different generation tools of cross-traf?c and evaluation testbed; Concentrating on the techniques and estimation methodologies used, as well as the challenges faced by open-source tools in high-performance networks of 10Gbps or higher

Medicinal plants from the genus Alchornea (Euphorbiaceae): A review of their ethnopharmacology uses and phytochemistry

The genus Alchornea compromises 55 accepted and other two unresolved species (Alchornea acerifera Croizat and Alchornea oblonga Müll. Arg.) which well various ecosystems over all the continents, with a special pantropical distribution. Numerous reports of ethnopharmacological uses of species belonging this genus exist mainly in Africa and Brazil, to treat different inflammatory and infectious diseases: arthritis, dysentery, infectious diseases, inflammation, intestinal disorders, fractures, leprosy, malaria, management of ringworm affections, muscle pain, rheumatism and ulcer. The genus Alchornea, contains different secondary metabolites and they have been reported such as: Alkaloids, terpenes and steroids, phenolic acid, saponins, principaly. The aim of the present review is to provide gathered and organized information with pharmacological, toxicological, traditional and phytochemical traits of plants from the Alchornea genus in order to define the biological potential of the genus and to define a state-of-art-platform stating the perspectives for further pharmacological/chemotaxonomical studies

[EN] Scientists usually try to find relevant and updated documents for their research. Also, they face an abundance of information. Most of the methodologies and algorithms look Backwards, so they suffer an inevitable time delay. We propose a recommendation algorithm combining Forward and Backward citation entire networks and Macro, Meso and Micro metrics that concludes in a strategic map and a heuristic reading path. Conceptual Engineering of Plasma-Focus Thermonuclear Pulsors

A new method of significant efficiency enhancement, which is based on simultaneous interaction of electrons with an opposite wave at the second cyclotron harmonic, and a forward wave of the same frequency, at the fundamental cyclotron resonance, is proposed for the backward wave oscillator (gyro-BWO). Excitation of the forward wave results in significant efficiency enhancement, whereas the opposite wave provides a broadband feedback.
