In this project, the protection of women victims's of gender violence in the social law is analysed, focusing it on the set of rights recognized in the field of the labor relations and on the Social Security system.
With the approval of the Organic Law for the Comprehensive Protection Measures' against gender violence it was aimed to minimize to the maximum the damages that could be caused to the family field of the female workers of such violence victims. The work and the Social Security rights were presented as an instrument that could fulfill an
extraordinary role as it was favouring the financial independence of the mistreated woman.42 págs

Positioning Radical Love through Narrative Inquiry to Foster Transformative Language Identities in the Multilingual Classroom
Multilingual students learning English are situated in systems of oppression that require a critical understanding of the role that language plays in discrimination. We describe how we create opportunities to develop and implement critical pedagogies that aim to challenge white
mainstream English (Baker-Bell, 2020) as the default language in our multilingual classroom spaces and detail how our pedagogies can contribute to decentering “whiteness” in English Language Teaching (Motha, 2014). Through narrative inquiry, we demonstrate how teachers can develop antiracist pedagogies in ELT by actively listening to each other’s experiences, forming hush-harbors (Kynard, 2010), and integrating radical love (hooks, 2001). Additionally, exposing students to counternarratives from marginalized writers diversifies and enriches their learning experience. These pedagogical practices create opportunities for students’ growth by centering love, humanizing education, and deliberately creating a sense of belonging
Moduli Spaces of Semistable Sheaves on Singular Genus One Curves
We find some equivalences of the derived category of coherent sheaves on a
Gorenstein genus one curve that preserve the (semi)-stability of pure
dimensional sheaves. Using them we establish new identifications between
certain Simpson moduli spaces of semistable sheaves on the curve. For rank
zero, the moduli spaces are symmetric powers of the curve whilst for a fixed
positive rank there are only a finite number of non-isomorphic spaces. We prove
similar results for the relative semistable moduli spaces on an arbitrary genus
one fibration with no conditions either on the base or on the total space. For
a cycle of projective lines, we show that the unique degree 0 stable
sheaves are the line bundles having degree 0 on every irreducible component and
the sheaves supported on one irreducible component. We also
prove that the connected component of the moduli space that contains vector
bundles of rank is isomorphic to the -th symmetric product of the
rational curve with one node.Comment: 26 pages, 4 figures. Added the structure of the biggest component of

Tradition and Innovation in David Lodge's Thinks...: a Study of the Campus Novel and the Two Cultures Debate
In Thinks… (2001) David Lodge rescues some of the classical generic conventions of the campus novel, a genre considered by many experts worn out and old-fashioned, in an attempt to reopen C.P. Snow’s two-cultures debate and to uplift the realm of arts in the world of academia. Lodge manages to play with a large variety of narrative strategies that suit to perfection character types and ideas. In this dissertation I intend to analyse Thinks... as a contemporary campus novel and to explore its contribution to the debate between science and humanities, taking into account both the formal and thematic aspects of the novel
Cross-Cultural Adaptation and Psychometric Testing of the International Sedentary Assessment Tool for the Spanish Population
Sedentary behavior (SB) is currently considered a public health problem with a high cost of care. Evaluating SB is essential for prevention and early management of physical inactivity. The International Sedentary Assessment Tool (ISAT) is an instrument that has been developed to assess SB. The aim of this study was to carry out a cross-cultural adaptation and a psychometric analysis of the Spanish version of the ISAT. A cross-sectional study was conducted. A total of 432 participants were included in this study. A double forward method and a backward method were used to translate the ISAT. A psychometric analysis of internal consistency and concurrent criterion validity was performed according to the most up-to-date Consensus-based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN). No language difficulties were found in the translation process. The Spanish version of ISAT was readable and acceptable. Internal consistency was satisfactory (α = 0.80). Criterion validity was demonstrated (rho=0.63). The Spanish version of the ISAT is a valid and reliable measure that can be used clinically to assess SB. Further studies assessing other psychometric properties are needed. The APC was funded by Cátedra de Fisioterapia at Universidad de Málaga
Scattering of H(D) from LiF(1 0 0) under fast grazing incidence conditions: To what extent is classical dynamics a useful tool?
Diffraction experiments of atoms and molecules under fast grazing incidence conditions have opened a new field in surface science. This experimental effort calls for complementary theoretical studies, which would allow a detailed analysis of experimental data. Here, we have analyzed the ability of classical dynamics simulations to reproduce experimental results. To perform this study, a DFT (density functional theory) based potential energy surface, describing the interaction between a H atom and a LiF(1 0 0) surface, has been computed. Diffraction probabilities have been simulated by means of a classical binning method. Our results have been found to be in qualitative good agreement with recent experimental measurementsWe are very grateful to H. F. Busnengo for useful discussions about the
CRP method. We thank CCC-UAM for allocation of computer time. Work

A Characterization of Jacobians by the Existence of Picard Bundles
Based on the Matsusaka-Ran criterion we give a criterion to characterize when
a principal polarized abelian variety is a Jacobian by the existence of Picard

Noise Sources, Effects and Countermeasures in Narrowband Power-Line Communications Networks: A Practical Approach
The integration of Distributed Generation, Electric Vehicles, and storage without compromising the quality of the power delivery requires the deployment of a communications overlay that allows monitoring and controlling low voltage networks in almost real time. Power Line Communications are gaining momentum for this purpose since they present a great trade-off between economic and technical features. However, the power lines also represent a harsh communications medium which presents different problems such as noise, which is indeed affected by Distributed Generation, Electric Vehicles, and storage. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the types of noise that affects Narrowband Power Line Communications, including normative noises, noises coming from common electronic devices measured in actual operational power distribution networks, and noises coming from photovoltaic inverters and electric vehicle charging spots measured in a controlled environment. The paper also reviews several techniques to mitigate the effects of noise, paying special attention to passive filtering, as for being one of the most widely used solution to avoid this kind of problems in the field. In addition, the paper presents a set of tests carried out to evaluate the impact of some representative noises on Narrowband Power Line Communications network performance, as well as the effectiveness of different passive filter configurations to mitigate such an impact. In addition, the considered sources of noise can also bring value to further improve PLC communications in the new scenarios of the Smart Grid as an input to theoretical models or simulations. This work has been partly funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness through the National Program for Research Aimed at the Challenges of Society under the project OSIRIS (RTC-2014-1556-3) and through the network of excellence REDYD2050 (ENE2015-70032-REDT)
