Trends in methylamphetamine availability, use and treatment, 2003â04 to 2013â14
There have been several corresponding trends in the availability, use and treatment of methylamphetamines since 2003â04. Following a decline between 2006â07 and 2009â10, there have been increases across many factors relating to methylamphetamines to 2013â14. Arrests, seizures and detections have all increased. Users are now favouring the crystal form of methylamphetamine. They are using it more frequently, and, there appear to be more new users of crystal. There are more people in treatment reporting smoking as their usual method of use for amphetamines than previously.

Structural and mechanistic insights into a Bacteroides vulgatus retaining N-acetyl-ÎČ-galactosaminidase that uses neighbouring group participation
Bacteroides vulgatus is a member of the human microbiota whose abundance is increased in patients with Crohn's disease. We show that a B. vulgatus glycoside hydrolase from the carbohydrate active enzyme family GH123, BvGH123, is an N-acetyl-ÎČ-galactosaminidase that acts with retention of stereochemistry, and, through a 3-D structure in complex with Gal-thiazoline, provide evidence in support of a neighbouring group participation mechanism
The Theory and Empirics of the Structural Reshaping Of Globalization
Petricevich and Teeceâs (2019) article on the reshaping of globalization raises profound issues on the theory and empirics of international business. The fracture in the world economy between the USA and China is the result of Government policy, but its relationship to rising VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) elements in globalization is more complex than simple policy changes. This paper suggests that a reappraisal of theory is required, not least because of the eruption of Covid-19, but that internalization theory is the best source of theoretical restructuring in the face of the new empirical realities facing the global economy
