Asombro y conocimiento: una mirada al pathos platónico

Se analiza el papel del pathos como condición de emergencia del logos y de la episteme, lo cual nos lleva a reconocer que a la par de una concepción intelectualista de la teoría platónica del conocimiento, en la que es necesaria la supresión de todos los elementos irracionales que nublan el juicio, existe otra perspectiva, sobre todo sustentada en el Fedro, en la cual el pathos, expresado sea como asombro, como sufrimiento o como manía amorosa, no es solamente una etapa que se debe superar para acceder a la intuición de las Formas, sino que ella misma se convierte en una experiencia cognitiva que devuelve al conocimiento su carácter humano

The board of directors and other members of the REDINE magazine, has the pleasure and pleasure of exhibiting to our esteemed readers, volume 12 corresponding to the First Semester, (January / June) of the year 2020, which includes a set of articles and essays scientists with plurality in their research topics, whose central purpose is to communicate, cooperate and build cognitions of a social scientific order, which contribute to the generation of revealing contributions, in the dissimilar areas of the globalizing world that surrounds us and affects the daily work. Regarding this aforementioned statement, inquiries regarding: elaboration of degree works with the application of the multimethod, the integral quality in public health center, university teaching in hypermodernity, vision of a new science. After this brief characterization, I invite you to read, enjoy and reflect on the content of each scientific publication ´presente in this new edition and we reiterate our thanks for your selfless support and transmission in the nature of social inquiries. La junta directiva y demás miembros integrantes  de la  revista REDINE, tiene el placer  y el agrado de  exhibirles a nuestros apreciados lectores, el volumen 12 correspondiente al Primer Semestre, (Enero/Junio) del año 2020, que contempla  un  conjunto  de artículos y ensayos científicos con pluralidad en sus tópicos investigativos, cuyo propósito central es comunicar, cooperar y construir cogniciones de orden científico social, que coadyuven en la generación de  aportes reveladores,  en los ámbitos disímiles del mundo globalizante que nos circunda e incide en el quehacer cotidiano.  Sobre esta aseveración antes mencionada se destacan  indagaciones referentes a: elaboración de trabajos de grado con la aplicación del multimétodo,  la calidad integral en centro de salud pública y docencia universitaria en la hipermodernidad, visión de una nueva  ciencia. Constitutional Syndrome, Ascites and Duodenal Thickening Presenting as Groove Pancreatitis

Groove pancreatitis (GP) is a very infrequent subtype of chronic pancreatitis affecting the pancreatic-duodenal junction. It usually manifests in middle-aged men with a history of chronic alcoholism, though it has also been described in women and in individuals who do not consume alcohol[1]. Even though the underlying etiology is unclear, chronic alcohol consumption is known to increase the viscosity of the pancreatic juice and exacerbate the inflammatory process[2]. We present a case of GP that posed diagnostic difficulties because it manifested as ascites and duodenal thickening, with pancreatic imaging findings initially normal

La digitalización y el crecimiento empresarial en el restaurante Mochica de Doña Fresia de Trujillo en el 2023

En el presente trabajo de investigación ha tenido como objetivo determinar la relación entre la digitalización y el crecimiento empresarial en el restaurante Mochica de Doña Fresia de Trujillo en el 2023. Para lo cual, se planteó un estudio cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, con diseño no experimental transversal y correlacional, aplicado una muestra de 40 colaboradores del restaurante, la técnica de recolección de datos usada fue la encuesta y el instrumento fue el cuestionario. Los resultados de la relación de la variable digitalización frente a crecimiento externo en el crecimiento empresarial establecieron un Rho= 47,8%, en cuanto a la variable de digitalización frente a crecimiento interno en el crecimiento empresarial presento un Rho= 71,1%; así mismo la relación entre digitalización y gestión empresarial establecido que existe una correlación cuyo indicador un Rho= 77.3%. Se concluyo que la digitalización se relaciona positivamente con el crecimiento empresarial en el restaurante Mochica de Doña Fresia de Trujillo, puesto que los colaboradores indican que se deben adaptar a los constantes cambios digitales y de esta manera obtener beneficios para el crecimiento empresarial del restaurante

Pensar lo Político. Ontología y Mundo Contemporáneo

Los vertiginosos cambios del mundo actual reclaman una reflexión desde los más diversos derroteros disciplinarios y, en esta tarea, la filosofía no es la excepción. Sin embargo, la complejidad de los dilemas contemporáneos demanda un examen desde la propia ontología, pues así como el Ser se dice de muchas maneras, la política es también un affaire que se dice de variados modos, en tanto termina reflejando y enriqueciendo tal pluralidad ontológica. Los textos aquí reunidos comparten una preocupación común: interrogarse por el Ser de la política y la manera que ésta, y sus expresiones contemporáneas, nos arrojan a habitar un mundo lleno de contradicciones y retos. La forma como vivimos el tiempo, como enfrentamos la globalización, la manera como territorializamos el espacio, como creamos alternativas frente a las lógicas dominantes, como nos insertamos o intentamos frenar la aceleración de lo cotidiano, como reconstruimos nuestras prácticas e ideas sobre la libertad, incluso, el modo de edificar nuestro estar en común, son cuestiones en las que lo político y el mundo contemporáneo terminan repensando muchos de los temas y conceptos ontológicos clásicos. Vivimos tiempos críticos no sólo porque parecen violentar nuestras visiones y formas de vida tradicionales, sino sobre todo porque nos invitan a pensar de maneras inéditas, así como a plantearnos otras formas de acción, nuevos conceptos y herramientas de pensamiento

From source to mouth in the La Plata River estuary, the Paraná River flows for approximately 4,695 km (Petri & Fúlfaro, 1985) and drains most of South-Central South America. There are several dams in the main channel and tributaries of the Paraná River, but a floodplain still remains with a complex of tributaries, side channels, lakes, and marginal dikes (Stevaux, 1994; Souza Filho, 2009). Standard Cruciate-Retaining Total Knee Arthroplasty Implants can Reproduce Native Kinematics

Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is a common procedure that has become the standard of treatment for severe cases of knee osteoarthritis. Biomechanics and quality of movement similar to healthy were found to improve patient-reported outcomes. In this study, an evaluated musculoskeletal model predicted ligament, contact and muscle forces together with secondary tibiofemoral kinematics. An artificial neural network applied to the musculoskeletal model searched for the optimal implant position in a given range that will minimize the root-mean-square-error (RMSE) between post- TKA and native experimental tibiofemoral kinematics during a squat. We found that, using a cruciate-retaining implant, native kinematics could be accurately reproduced (average RMSE 1.47 mm (± 0.89 mm) for translations and 2.89° (± 2.83°) for rotations between native and optimal TKA alignment). The required implant positions changes maximally 2.96 mm and 2.40o. This suggests that when using pre- operative planning, off-the-shelf CR implants allow for reproducing native knee kinematics post-operatively

Effect of tumor burden and radical surgery on survival difference between upfront, early interval or delayed cytoreductive surgery in ovarian cancer

Methods This retrospective study included patients with International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics IIIC–IV stage OC who underwent debulking surgery at 4 high-volume institutions between January 2008 and December 2015. We assessed the overall survival (OS) of primary debulking surgery (PDS group), early interval debulking surgery after 3–4 cycles of NACT (early IDS group) and delayed debulking surgery after 6 cycles (DDS group) with CC-0 or CC-1 according to peritoneal cancer index (PCI) and Aletti score. Results Five hundred forty-nine women were included: 175 (31.9%) had PDS, 224 (40.8%) early IDS and 150 (27.3%) DDS. Regardless of Aletti score, median OS after PDS was significantly higher than after early IDS or DDS, but the survival difference was higher in women with an Aletti score 10, there were no differences between PDS and early IDS, but DDS was associated with decreased OS. Conclusion The benefit of complete PDS compared with NACT was maximal in patients with a low complexity score. In patients with low tumor burden, there was a survival benefit of PDS over early IDS or DDS.
