model with symmetric couplings belongs to the same universality class as the
two dimensional Ising model.Comment: 10 page
Sanksi Potong Tangan Bagi Pelaku Tindak Pidana Pencurian dalam Perspektif Hukum Islam
Cutting hand penalty for theft cases, according to Muslim jurists’ view, is a maximum penalty, and hence, not all of such cases deserve for this mode of penalty. In case that the requirements for the implementation of such penalty cannot be found in a theft case, cutting hand may not be implemented and ta’zir shall apply instead. Ta’zir then, is considered as an educative penal system which falls under the authority of the judges to exercise their ijtihad capability
INTERNALISASI NILAI MODERASI BERAGAMA PADA SANTRI PONDOK PESANTREN AL-MAZAYA PASER KABUPATEN PASER PROVINSI KALIMANTAN TIMUR
Indonesia, as a majority-Muslim nation, has become a focal point for several countries and a primary focus in the context of religious moderation. Therefore, it is crucial for us to comprehend the principles of religious moderation, which play a pivotal role in Islam. Profound knowledge of religion obtained through educational institutions like boarding schools and madrasah, along with the effective role of scholars and kiai as exemplars of religious behavior, aids in upholding stability in religious comprehension within Indonesian society. Boarding school stands as one among various religious institutions, serving the dual function of imparting, understanding, and deepening Islamic teachings, as well as disseminating religious knowledge to society. The boarding school AL-Mazaya Paser implements a curriculum that integrates general education with pesantren education, allowing for the effective internalization of values of religious moderation and contributing to the development of knowledge within the pesantren. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach, aiming to elucidate the circumstances or phenomena observed in the field based on collected data, narrated in words or sentences, categorized to draw conclusions and provide solutions to emerging issues, supported by empirical data at boarding school Al-Mazaya Paser. By applying pesantren and madrasah curricula and operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Kabupaten Paser, boarding school Al-Mazaya Paser integrates boarding school education with formal and boarding school curricula. Furthermore, this boarding school adheres to the principle of “Religious Moderation” as a genuine embodiment of the institution’s vision and missio
Representasi Kearifan Pengetahuan Setempat (Local Knowledge) Suku Sasak dalam Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru Karya TGKH. Zainuddin Abdul Majid
The wisdom possessed by the Sasak tribe is a potential that must be considered. Its existence for every member of the Sasak tribe is a gift that always provides its own color. Focusing on this research, the researcher examines the representation of local knowledge of the Sasak Tribe in the Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru by TGKH. Zainuddin Abdul Majid. The aim of carrying out this research is to explore and describe the local wisdom of the Sasak tribe which originates from the Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru.. The method in this research uses qualitative research, literature study. The data in this research is in the form of WRMPB text. The data source in this research is the WRMPB book or manuscript by Tuan Guru Kyai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. In this case, the researcher becomes the main instrument, using data cards. The data collection technique used is documentary study. Next, analyze the data by organizing it, sorting it into manageable units, synthesizing it, looking for and finding patterns, finding what is important and what has been learned, and deciding what can be told to others. Checking the validity of the data in this study used triangulation techniques. In the local wisdom of the Sasak tribe, there are 7 verses of the New Experience Period Renunagan's Will which represent the wisdom of knowledge of the Sasak tribe. The 43rd verse is part 1. The 44th verse is part 2. The 39th verse is part 2. The 134th verse is part 1. The 18th verse is part 1. The 186th verse is part 1, and the 180th verse is part 1
Genre Baru Kasidah Sufistik di Indonesia 2001-2010
The process of Islamization has caused acculturation among the Nusantara and foreign culture. One of them is in the field of music, namely “Kasidah”. Initially the kasidah only used a tambourine instrument (rebana), later in its development it was mixed with Western musical instruments (guitar, bass, keyboard and drums), its name became the modern kasidah. Along with the development of the times, the Kasidah also went through a process of deculturation. Where the kasidah is no longer unique to the rebana, musicians in Indonesia have left the tambourine and only use modern musical instruments. a new genre emerged in kasidah, namely pop kasidah. This study uses historical research methods, namely research models that study past events based on the traces they have left. This research method is carried out in four stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. In 2001, a Sufi Muslim music group was born with personnel from various countries, namely Dust. They use many musical instruments from various countries as well, this is what causes the music color of Dust to be different from the others
In-network Sparsity-regularized Rank Minimization: Algorithms and Applications
Given a limited number of entries from the superposition of a low-rank matrix
plus the product of a known fat compression matrix times a sparse matrix,
recovery of the low-rank and sparse components is a fundamental task subsuming
compressed sensing, matrix completion, and principal components pursuit. This
paper develops algorithms for distributed sparsity-regularized rank
minimization over networks, when the nuclear- and -norm are used as
surrogates to the rank and nonzero entry counts of the sought matrices,
respectively. While nuclear-norm minimization has well-documented merits when
centralized processing is viable, non-separability of the singular-value sum
challenges its distributed minimization. To overcome this limitation, an
alternative characterization of the nuclear norm is adopted which leads to a
separable, yet non-convex cost minimized via the alternating-direction method
of multipliers. The novel distributed iterations entail reduced-complexity
per-node tasks, and affordable message passing among single-hop neighbors.
Interestingly, upon convergence the distributed (non-convex) estimator provably
attains the global optimum of its centralized counterpart, regardless of
initialization. Several application domains are outlined to highlight the
generality and impact of the proposed framework. These include unveiling
traffic anomalies in backbone networks, predicting networkwide path latencies,
and mapping the RF ambiance using wireless cognitive radios. Simulations with
synthetic and real network data corroborate the convergence of the novel
distributed algorithm, and its centralized performance guarantees.Comment: 30 pages, submitted for publication on the IEEE Trans. Signal Proces
Recovery of Low-Rank Plus Compressed Sparse Matrices with Application to Unveiling Traffic Anomalies
Given the superposition of a low-rank matrix plus the product of a known fat
compression matrix times a sparse matrix, the goal of this paper is to
establish deterministic conditions under which exact recovery of the low-rank
and sparse components becomes possible. This fundamental identifiability issue
arises with traffic anomaly detection in backbone networks, and subsumes
compressed sensing as well as the timely low-rank plus sparse matrix recovery
tasks encountered in matrix decomposition problems. Leveraging the ability of
- and nuclear norms to recover sparse and low-rank matrices, a convex
program is formulated to estimate the unknowns. Analysis and simulations
confirm that the said convex program can recover the unknowns for sufficiently
low-rank and sparse enough components, along with a compression matrix
possessing an isometry property when restricted to operate on sparse vectors.
When the low-rank, sparse, and compression matrices are drawn from certain
random ensembles, it is established that exact recovery is possible with high
probability. First-order algorithms are developed to solve the nonsmooth convex
optimization problem with provable iteration complexity guarantees. Insightful
tests with synthetic and real network data corroborate the effectiveness of the
novel approach in unveiling traffic anomalies across flows and time, and its
ability to outperform existing alternatives.Comment: 38 pages, submitted to the IEEE Transactions on Information Theor
