Acanthagrion marinae sp. Nov. (zygoptera: Coenagrionidae): A new species of the apicale group

Acanthagrion marinae sp. nov. (Holotype male: BRASIL, Mato Grosso do Sul, Campo Grande, UFMS, 20°29’56.26’’S-54°36’48.43’’W, 547m, leg. M.E. Rodrigues, 03.ii.2015, collection code: VZYG437, MLP) is described and illustrated on the basis of 15 males. The new species belongs to the apicale species group by having horns on S10 and sclerotized hooks on tip of distal segment of the genital ligula. It can be easily distinguished from other species of the group by a combination of characters of the genital ligulae (presence of setae on segment two; absence of setae at flexure; distal lateral lobes of segment three absent). Poetics of the City: an Open-Air "Chantier"

Sin constituir un “concepto” de la filosofía de Jean-luc Nancy, el término francés “chantier”, de difícil traducción al español, nos sirve en este artículo para dar cuenta del tratamiento que Nancy le ha dado a la ciudad en los textos con los que, durante más de veinte años, ha ido delimitado sus rasgos específicos y sus caracteres propios. Más allá de su unidad conceptual, la ciudad se revela como la pluralidad de los “modos de hacer y de producir” (poéticas) que le permiten a Nancy exceder los compartimentos disciplinarios. Con muy escasas ocurrencias en su trabajo, en este artículo pretendemos demostrar que “chantier” es un término privilegiado que da cuenta, paradójicamente, de cómo las obras en construcción (traducción provisional del término) desestabilizan el paradigma arquitectural “constructivista” con que se ha configurado el esquema completo de representaciones del pensamiento occidental.Without forming a “concept” of the philosophy of Jean-luc Nancy, the french term “chantier”, which is difficult to translate into Spanish, is used in this paper to account for the treatment that Nancy has given to the city in the texts with which he has been defining its specific features and particular characteristics for over twenty years. Beyond its conceptual unity, the city is revealed as the plurality of the “ways of making and producing” (poetics) that allow Nancy to transcend disciplinary compartments. With very few occurrences in his work, in this paper we show that “chantier” is a privileged term that, paradoxically, accounts for how work under cons truction (provisional translation of the term) destabilise the “constructivist” architectural paradigm with which the complete scheme of representations of Western thought have been configured

Ontología del abandono. Jean-Luc Nancy y «la existencia exiliada»

El término «exilio» es un hápax en el trabajo de Jean-Luc Nancy. Sin embargo, a partir del análisis de su artículo «La existencia exiliada» veremos hasta qué punto esta formulación que opta por el adjetivo femenino «exiliada» para describir y categorizar una condición existencial «ineludible», supone un motivo insólito en su corpus pero, no obstante, concluyente y decisivo para conformar una «ontología del abandono». A partir de esta constatación estudiaremos las implicaciones de esa ontología del abandono y veremos cómo «el ser abandonado» constituye asimismo una condición inapelable e imperativa para el pensamiento que determina además que este se ofrezca bajo la tensión de una enigmática doble ley.The term «exile» is a hapax in the Jean-Luc Nancy’s work. However, from the analysis of his paper «The exiled existence» we will see to what extent this formulation, which chooses the adjective «exiled» to describe and categorize an «inevitable» existential condition, supposes an unusual but, nevertheless, conclusive and decisive reason in its corpus to form an «ontology of abandonment». From this verification, we will study the implications of this ontology of abandonment and will see how «abandoned being» makes up also an ineradicable and imperative condition (to be without return and without recourse) for thinking, which, in addition, determines that it offers itself under the tension of an enigmatic double law

Jean Luc-Nancy y Maurice Blanchot: el reparto de lo inconfesable

From a personal circumstance, the author of this paper keeps up correspondence with Jean-Luc Nancy about the “readings” that each of them made about Maurice Blanchot’s La Communauté inavouable. At that time, Blanchot’s book appeared as a “response” to Nancy’s La Communauté desoeuvrée, being triggered off, from both texts, what, from that moment, was an unusual way to approach the question of the community. So, why the inclusion of an enigmatic second part “dedicated” to the Marguerite Duras’s book, La Maladie de la mort, in the Blanchot’s book? Why the inclusion in his book of a story about the nights that a man spends, complained about “the impossibility to love”, with a young woman with which the only thing, that binds her, is the contract for any paid nights and in which body he wants to find the life that misses him? The author of this work, “extracting” to Nancy himself a “response” to this question and in dialogue with him, undertakes her own research (not elucidate) of Blanchot’s textA partir de una circunstancia personal, la autora de este artículo mantiene con Jean-Luc Nancy un intercambio epistolar a propósito de las “lecturas” que cada uno de ellos ha hecho de La Communauté inavouable de Maurice Blanchot. Inclusão mediática em processos educomunicativos: um antídoto para a infoxicação?

No Brasil, o conceito de Educomunicação é assumido e estudado por importantes centros de pesquisa cujos aportes orientam diversos projetos de formação junto ao governo, organizações da sociedade civil e iniciativa privada. O objetivo principal deste paper é propor o enfoque diferenciado da Inclusão Mediática, de forma a expandir as o alcance das ações educomunicativas para além das questões geralmente associadas à Inclusão/Exclusão digital. Para tanto, após uma breve revisão bibliográfica abrangendo autores que se ocupam dos conceitos correlatos de Inclusão Digital e Educação Mediática, analisaremos algumas de suas implicações no contexto das práticas educomunicativas.In Brazil, Educommunication is a concept adopted and studied by important research centers whose contribution guide many education projects with the government, civil Society, non-profit organizations and the private sector. The main purpose of this paper is to propose a different approach of Mediatic Inclusion in order to expand the scope of educommunicative actions beyond the issues normally associated with digital Inclusion/Exclusion. Therefore, after a brief literature review covering authors dealing with the related concepts of Digital Inclusion and Media Literacy, we will analyze some of its implications in the context of the educommunicative practices

O artigo analisa o uso da avaliação indiciária realizada nas aulas de Educação Física na Educação Infantil, focando a produção de práticas avaliativas e as experiências construídas por meio delas. Assume perspectiva da pesquisa-ação existencial realizada com um professor formado em Educação Física e 17 crianças de uma Unidade Municipal de Educação Infantil de Vila Velha, Espírito Santo (ES). Os dados evidenciaram as potencialidades da avaliação indiciária naquele contexto, articulando as práticas avaliativas e as narrativas infantis com o intuito de dar visibilidade à memória do percurso formativo

Understanding the Detection of View Fraud in Video Content Portals

While substantial effort has been devoted to understand fraudulent activity in traditional online advertising (search and banner), more recent forms such as video ads have received little attention. The understanding and identification of fraudulent activity (i.e., fake views) in video ads for advertisers, is complicated as they rely exclusively on the detection mechanisms deployed by video hosting portals. In this context, the development of independent tools able to monitor and audit the fidelity of these systems are missing today and needed by both industry and regulators. In this paper we present a first set of tools to serve this purpose. Using our tools, we evaluate the performance of the audit systems of five major online video portals. Our results reveal that YouTube's detection system significantly outperforms all the others. Despite this, a systematic evaluation indicates that it may still be susceptible to simple attacks. Furthermore, we find that YouTube penalizes its videos' public and monetized view counters differently, the former being more aggressive. This means that views identified as fake and discounted from the public view counter are still monetized. We speculate that even though YouTube's policy puts in lots of effort to compensate users after an attack is discovered, this practice places the burden of the risk on the advertisers, who pay to get their ads displayed.Comment: To appear in WWW 2016, Montr\'eal, Qu\'ebec, Canada.
