Neste trabalho de cunho teórico, buscamos analisar a dinâmica dos afetos na perspectiva filosófica de Baruch Espinosa.  Ao projetar esse objetivo, procuramos trazer elementos que favoreçam análises da compreensão escolar como espaço de potencialização. Defendemos como considerações finais do estudo que essa perspectiva e entendimento são nucleares para o debate e compreensão da dinâmica dos afetos no processo de humanização

YouTubeTM as a Tool to Teach Dentists about Molar Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH): Analysis of Quality Content

Objective: To evaluate the quality of information about Molar incisor Hypomineralization (MIH) on YouTubeTM. Material and Methods: Only videos in Portuguese aimed at dentists were included. The selected videos were analyzed by two calibrated evaluators, who extracted the information (classification, etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of MIH) and the quality was evaluated through a 20-point-checklist, according to the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry and European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Descriptive analysis and statistical tests were applied to assess the association (ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis) or correlation (Spearman) between the final scores of the videos and their demographics. Results: Nineteen videos with 13.8±4.76 mean points were considered eligible. Most of the videos did not report the possible involvement of other groups of teeth (n=12), presence of atypical restorations (n=8) and hypersensitivity (n=7); and the different treatments for MIH were very variable.  Twelve videos discussed differential diagnosis and 78.95% possible etiological factors; however, all of them presented clinical images. Data related to the video source and viewer interaction were not related to its quality (p>0.05). The number of likes (r=0.26), views (r=0.34) and video time (=0.58) show a weak and moderate correlation, respectively, with video score. Conclusion: Videos on YouTubeTMabout MIH presented moderate or high quality, with heterogeneous information, and can act as a complementary aid source of information

COMUNICAÇÃO OMNICHANNEL: CONVERGINDO RELACIONAMENTOS E EXPERIÊNCIAS OFF-LINE E ON-LINE

Este artigo busca refletir sobre a perspectiva omnichannel, aqui apropriada para pensar a comunicação como forma de garantir relacionamentos e experiências similares em todos os canais que uma organização dispõe. Metodologicamente, este texto parte de um breve estado da arte sobre a sociedade em rede e a ressignificação dos territórios mediados pelo digital; sobre as redes sociais digitais como propulsores da comunicação ubíqua e, ainda, como esses conceitos ajudam a compreender e exercitar a ideia de comunicação omnichannel. Desses conceitos, é apresentado um breve relato sobre as estratégias de comunicação omnichannel do Grupo Boticário, a partir da leitura de uma palestra realizada pelo seu diretor de e-commerce Guilherme Farinelli. Com essa articulação, é possível perceber como pode ser colocada em prática a comunicação omnichannel, e como ela se reflete nas relações entre marca e públicos

Comunicação como memória organizacional: pertencimento e identidade nas organizações

Understanding communication as an instrument of organizational memory to strengthen the belonging and identity of organizations is a central objective of this article. Supported by studies on memory and organizational communication, this work also guides its view on the Museu Antropológico Diretor Pestana - MADP as a cultural equipment of great importance for the preservation of the history and memory of the northwest region of Rio Grande do Sul, especially on the Fundação de Integração, Desenvolvimento e Educação do Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul - FIDENE, its sponsor. Finally, MADP's historical and mnemonic collection, which is used by communication, has a strategic potential to share the Foundation's trajectory, values and beliefs with its audiences, constituting organizational identity and belonging.Entender la comunicación como un instrumento de memoria organizacional para fortalecer la pertenencia e identidad de las organizaciones es un objetivo central de este artículo. Apoyado en estudios sobre memoria y comunicación organizacional, este trabajo también orienta su mirada sobre el Museu Antropológico Diretor Pestana - MADP como un equipamiento cultural de gran importancia para la preservación de la historia y la memoria de la región noroeste de Rio Grande do Sul, especialmente sobre la Fundação de Integração, Desenvolvimento e Educação do Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul - FIDENE, su patrocinador. Finalmente, la colección histórica y mnemotécnica del MADP, que se utiliza para la comunicación, tiene un potencial estratégico para compartir la trayectoria, valores y creencias de la Fundación con sus públicos, constituyendo identidad organizacional y pertenencia.Compreender a comunicação como um instrumento da memória organizacional para fortalecer o pertencimento e a identidade das organizações é objetivo central deste artigo. Acetonitrile adducts of tranexamic acid as sensitive ions for quantification at residue levels in human plasma by UHPLC-MS/MS

The quantitative analysis of pharmaceuticals in biomatrices by liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS) is often hampered by adduct formation. The use of the molecular ion resulting from solvent adducts for quantification is uncommon, even if formed in high abundance. In this work, we propose the use of a protonated acetonitrile adduct for the quantitative analysis of tranexamic acid (TXA) by LC-MS/MS. The high abundance of the protonated acetonitrile adduct [M + ACN + H]+ was found to be independent of source-dependent parameters and mobile phase composition. The results obtained for TXA analysis in clinical samples were comparable for both [M + ACN + H]+ and [M + H]+ , and no statistically significant differences were observed. The relative stability and structure of the [M + ACN + H]+ ions were also studied by analyzing probable structures from an energetic point of view and by quantum chemical calculations. These findings, and the studied fragmentation pathways, allowed the definition of an acetimidium structure as the best ion to describe the observed acetonitrile protonated adduct of TXA.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

ANÁLISE DE VIABILIDADE TÉCNICA E ECONÔMICA DE UM SISTEMA DE APROVEITAMENTO DE AGUAS PLUVIAIS PARA FINS NÃO POTÁVEIS EM UMA INSTITUIÇÃO DE ENSINO FEDERAL EM PERNAMBUCO

Este estudo tem por objetivo analisar a viabilidade técnica e econômica de um sistema de aproveitamento de águas pluviais em uma Instituição de Ensino Federal em Pernambuco. A água de reuso seria utilizada para fins não potáveis como a rega de plantas, lavagem de pisos e lavagem de veículos, que representaram 15% da demanda hídrica total da edificação. Inicialmente, coletou-se os dados pluviométricos da região e levantou-se as áreas de captação necessárias para suprir a demanda hídrica não-potável analisada. Posteriormente, utilizou-se o programa computacional Netuno para determinar o volume dos reservatórios, que apontou volume ideal de 40 m³ para o reservatório inferior e 12 m³ para o reservatório superior, cujos potenciais de economia de água potável foram de 7,47% e 8,12%, respectivamente. A análise econômica mostrou que o custo com a implantação do sistema seria de R$48.177,47, em mai/2017. Os métodos Valor Presente Líquido - VPL e Payback Simples utilizados apontaram um VPL de R$ 202.334,06 e um tempo de retorno do investimento de 1 ano 2 meses. Concluiu-se que a implantação do sistema é técnica e economicamente viável, devido ao atendimento às demandas hídricas não potáveis analisadas, o VPL positivo e o curto prazo para retorno do investimento

Osteochondroma of the scapula

A 29 years old, female, presented with pain in the right dorsal and scapullary region after excruciating physical effort. Ultrasonography was performed and it was reported an anechoic collection with internal debris, measuring 10.0 x 8.0 x2.7 cmin diameters. After this result it was conducted a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exam of the chest, with gadolinium injection and it was identified soft tissue injury, lying between the latissimus dorsi and the rib cage, without infiltration of the nearby fat tissue. It was seen bone proliferation in the medial aspect of the body of the scapula, with regular borders, in contact with the soft tissue lesion, that motivate an evalution with Multidetector Computer Tomography (MDCT) (figs. 1, 2 and 3). In this MDTC, it was identified bone lesion showing continuity of cortical and medullary bone, characteristic of osteochondroma. The anatomo-pathologic (AP) analysis demonstrated the presence of osteochondroma without signs of malignancy

Determination of tranexamic acid in human plasma by UHPLC coupled with tandem mass spectrometry targeting sub-microgram per milliliter levels

Tranexamic acid (TXA) is an antifibrinolytic drug, with the ability to inhibit lysine binding at plasminogen receptors, used in adult trauma patients with on-going or at risk of significant haemorrhage. To understand the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of this drug in variable age groups undergoing surgeries with high blood loss, effective methods for determination of TXA in biological samples at sub-μg mL−1 are still required. We describe herein the development and validation of a method based on ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled to triple quadrupole-tandem mass spectrometry to quantify TXA in human plasma. An inexpensive, simple and efficient sample clean-up was implemented, not requiring matrix-matching calibration. Sample preparation consisted in protein precipitation using acetonitrile containing 0.5% (v/v) formic acid, followed by hydrophilic interaction based chromatographic separation, with elution in isocratic mode using a combination of acetonitrile and water (75:25, v/v), with quantification of TXA based on selected reaction monitoring. Good linearity was achieved (r2 > 0.997) for TXA concentrations ranging from 30 to 600 ng mL−1, with LOD of 18 ng mL−1 in plasma. The developed method proved to be selective, sensitive, accurate (96.4–105.7% of nominal values) and precise (RSD ≤ 4.5%). TXA was found to be stable in plasma extracts standing 24 h at room temperature (20 °C) or in the autosampler, and after three freeze-thawing cycles. Mean recovery values of TXA spiked plasma samples were ≥91.9%. No significant matrix effects were observed. Oral tolerance and OVA-induced tolerogenic dendritic cells reduce the severity of collagen/ovalbumin-induced arthritis in mice

AbstractDietary proteins play an important role in the regulation of systemic immune response, in a phenomenon known as oral tolerance (OT). To evaluate the effects of OT on a murine model of type II collagen (CII) plus ovalbumin (OVA)-induced arthritis (CIA), mice were fed with OVA either before or after CIA induction. OT significantly reduced the paw edema and synovial inflammation, as well as serum levels of anti-CII, the ex vivo proliferation and inflammatory cytokine production by spleen cells from CIA mice. The frequencies of Foxp3+ and IL-10+ cells were higher, whereas IFNγ+ cells and IL-17+ cells were lower, among gated CD4+ spleen T cells from tolerized CIA mice than in those from non-tolerized CIA mice. Adoptive transfer of tolerogenic dendritic cells (DCs) before CIA induction mimics the effects observed in the OT. We demonstrate here that bystander suppression induced by OT can modify the course of CIA and tolerogenic DCs play a role this phenomenon
