Reflexiones sobre el proceso de intervención organizacional, el caso de una entidad educativa

Este artículo refiere un proceso de intervención organizacional para comprender el ejercicio de poder que se desarrolla entre los actores de una entidad educativa (EE) del nivel medio superior en México. Se adopta la perspectiva de la complejidad y se utiliza como herramienta metodológica la investigación cualitativa por medio de entrevistas a profundidad realizadas a directivos, docentes y alumnos; con ellas se busca conocer el ejercicio de poder que se establece entre ellos, las tensiones que devienen de la estructura de dominación y las interacciones en las que se ven inmersos para llegar a acuerdos y legitimar su acción. En primer término, aparece un marco conceptual sobre la intervención, el poder, la capacidad de agencia y el orden legítimo; en segundo lugar, se analiza la praxis de la EE, donde se presentan sus principales problemáticas; para concluir con una reflexión crítica y propositiva sobre tal dinámica.This work presents an interventional organizational procedure in order to understand the power exercise developed between the actors in a Technological High School educational entity of México (EE). The complexity perspective is adopted and qualitative methodology was applied to responses received from key informers such as; directors, academics and students, in deep interviews. The objective was to understand the exercise of power and influence between the studied groups; in the other words, the different kinds of tensions developed due to the domination structure and the involved actions that are reached to legitimate their behavior. First, the conceptual framework is presented in reference to the intervention, the power, the capacity of negotiation and the legitimated order. Participative and transformational citizenship analysis of discourses and learning proposals

Se parte de considerar la ciudadanía como un concepto dinámico y relacional: una práctica orientada al desarrollo de capacidades y poderes colectivos para la creatividad, la acción y la transformación social. Desde esta perspectiva, realizamos un estudio basado en entrevistas en profundidad a 14 informantes, cuya finalidad es explorar los discursos y procesos a través de los que se define y pone en juego la ciudadanía. El análisis del contenido de las entrevistas nos permite profundizar en sus opiniones y experiencias en torno a los significados y el aprendizaje de la ciudadanía. Los resultados que presentamos en este trabajo se centran en este último aspecto: cómo se aprende, a través de qué referentes, cuáles son las motivaciones para actuar y cómo se educa. Langmuir‐Blodgett Methodology: A Versatile Technique to Build 2D Material Films

The Langmuir‐Blodgett (LB) methodology is based on the transfer process of a monolayer adsorbed at the water interface, Langmuir film, from the air‐water interface onto solids by vertical dipping of the substrate immersed on the subphase. The technique allows the continuous variation of material density, packing, and arrangement by compressing or expanding the film by using barriers. Consequently, it provides the possibility of preparing films with the control of interparticle distance necessary to exploit the two‐dimensional (2D) materials in technological applications. In this chapter, we present some examples of fabrication of thin films of 2D material using this methodology. Experiencias en el diseño de cursos en línea de matemáticas orientados al bachillerato de la universidad nacional autónoma de México (UNAM): modalidad b-learning

Presentamos las experiencias adquiridas como docentes en el lapso de cinco años utilizando Moodle y GeoGebra para diseñar, organizar e impartir cursos en línea por parte de los profesores de Matemáticas del bachillerato en la Escuela Nacional Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Se hace una reflexión a partir de los últimos cuatro años, tras incorporar las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (TIC) en el diseño, organización e impartición de cursos en línea de matemáticas con el propósito de apoyar los cursos presenciales de los profesores de matemáticas y opciones técnicas

2-oxoglutarate modulates the affinity of FurA for the ntcA promoter in Anabaena sp. PCC 7120

2-oxoglutarate (2-OG) is a central metabolite that acts as a signaling molecule informing about the status of the carbon/nitrogen balance of the cell. In recent years, some transcriptional regulators and even two-component systems have been described as 2-OG sensors. In the nitrogen-fixing cyanobacterium Anabaena sp. PCC 7120, two master regulators, NtcA and FurA, are deeply involved in the regulation of nitrogen metabolism. Both of them show a complex intertwined regulatory circuit to achieve a suitable regulation of nitrogen fixation. In this work, 2-OG is found to bind FurA, modulating the specific binding of FurA to the ntcA promoter. This study provides evidence of a new additional control point in the complex network controlled by the NtcA and FurA proteins

Cuidados equipe de enfermagem a dimensão espiritual do paciente. Revisão sistemática

Se precisa conocer la percepción de los profesionales de enfermería acerca de la atención emocional y espiritual prestada en el plan de cuidados del paciente. El objetivo fue conocer la atención espiritual que brindan las enfermeras y enfermeros en su trabajo diario durante el proceso de estancia hospitalaria de un paciente así como detectar posibles factores asociados que afloran al enfrentarse a la muerte. Material y Métodos. La unidad de análisis son los estudios originales primarios. Se hicieron búsquedas electrónicas (Cuiden, Scielo, Pubmed) y manuales de artículos relevantes recientemente publicados en revistas, bibliografías y listas de referencias de revisiones y documentos. Resultados y Conclusiones. Existen una serie de factores que dificultan la adecuada intervención del profesional de enfermería en situaciones concretas de no salud: principalmente cuando el paciente siente la necesidad imperiosa de obtener información sobre su estado de salud porque se encuentra ingresado en un centro hospitalario en situaciones terminales, así como también cuando le comunican de repente que tiene un grave trastorno orgánico en alguna estructura corporal y con algún grado de limitación que le impide una actividad física habitual de repente… como consecuencia de ello se enfrenta a emociones como la angustia, el miedo, la depresión, la rabia, la insatisfacción, etc que son emociones con alta carga emocional y espiritual.It is necessary to know the perception of nurses about the emotional attention given to patients at the spiritual dimension in patient care plan. The objective was to know the spiritual care offered by nurses in their daily work during a patient’s hospital stay and detect possible associated factors that hinder the facing death. Material and Methods. The unit of analysis has been the primary original studies, electronic searches (Cuiden, Scielo, Pubmed) and manuals relevant of articles published in journals, bibliographies and reference lists of reviews and papers were made. Results and Conclusions. There are a number of factors that hinder the proper intervention of nursing professionals in specific situations of non-health: especially when the patient feels the urgent need to obtain information on their health status because it is admitted in a hospital in terminal situation, as when you communicate suddenly having a serious organic disorder in some body structure with some degree of limitation prevents regular physical activity…. as a result he feels emotions like anxiety, fear, depression, anger, dissatisfaction, etc which are emotions with high emotional and spiritual burden.É necessário conhecer a percepção dos enfermeiros sobre o cuidado emocional e espiritual previsto no plano de cuidados do paciente. O objetivo foi conhecer a assistência espiritual oferecida por enfermeiros no seu trabalho diário durante a internação do paciente e detectar possíveis fatores associados que surgem quando enfrentar a morte. Material e Métodos. Development of a model of cross-curricular competencies of students at the Technical University of Madrid

It is known that cross-curricular competences are required for main companies all over the world to be part of our university graduates as technical knowledge does. That is the reason which has led the university structure to include these competences in the every degree curriculo validated since the European Higher Education Area (EHEA)was introduced in the Spanish university context. DISEÑO Y PROTOTIPADO DE UN ROBOT MÓVIL AUTÓNOMO Y TELE-OPERADO (DESIGN AND PROTOTYPING OF AN AUTONOMOUS AND TELE-OPERATED MOBILE ROBOT)

Resumen En este artículo se presenta el diseño, modelado y prototipado de un robot móvil con aplicaciones potenciales en exploración de zonas accidentadas o de difícil acceso, reconocimiento, seguridad, defensa, rescate, entre otras. El sistema mecánico está basado en la configuración diferencial de robots móviles. El prototipo utiliza dos motores eléctricos de alta potencia que le permiten sortear obstáculos y navegar en terrenos difíciles con buena precisión y a una velocidad máxima de 20 km/h. El sistema de control está basado en un sistema embebido y dos sensores principales: una cámara RGB y un arreglo de sensores ultrasónicos que habilitan la navegación autónoma. Adicionalmente el robot propuesto puede ser tele-operado utilizando un casco de realidad virtual y un dispositivo háptico kinestésico mientras que la transmisión de video y el intercambio de datos se realizan por un módulo de comunicación de radiofrecuencia (RF). Abstract This paper presents the design, modeling, and prototyping of a mobile robot with potential applications in the fields of exploration, reconnaissance, security, defense, rescue, among others. The mechanical system is based on the differential drive structure driven by two high-power electrical motors that allow the prototype to negotiate obstacles and navigate rough terrain with a high degree of accuracy at a maximum speed of 20 km/h. The control system is based on an embedded micro-controller architecture and two main sensors: a color camera and an array of ultrasonic sensors, which enable autonomous navigation of the robot. In addition, the robot can also be tele-operated using a virtual reality helmet and a kinesthetic haptic device while video and data exchange are provided by a RF communication link. De ce point de vue on a développé un étude que s’appuie sur des entretiens approfondis avec 14 informateurs. Le but de ces entretiens est l’exploration des discours et des processus par lesquels la citoyenneté est définie et mise en jeu. L’analyse du contenu des entretiens nous donne un aperçu de leurs points de vue et expériences sur l’apprentissage et les significations de la citoyenneté. Les résultats présentés dans ce document vont souligner certains aspects: comment on apprend, quelles sont les références, quelles sont les motivations, comment a été le processus éducatif. Il offre aussi des propositions destinées à faciliter éducation à la citoyenneté engagée au changement social

Hu Antigen R (HuR) Protein Structure, Function and Regulation in Hepatobiliary Tumors

Hepatobiliary tumors are a group of primary malignancies encompassing the liver, the intra- and extra-hepatic biliary tracts, and the gall bladder. Within the liver, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common type of primary cancer, which is, also, representing the third-most recurrent cause of cancer-associated death and the sixth-most prevalent type of tumor worldwide, nowadays. Although less frequent, cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is, currently, a fatal cancer with limited therapeutic options. Here, we review the regulatory role of Hu antigen R (HuR), a ubiquitous member of the ELAV/Hu family of RNA-binding proteins (RBPs), in the pathogenesis, progression, and treatment of HCC and CCA. Overall, HuR is proposed as a valuable diagnostic and prognostic marker, as well as a therapeutic target in hepatobiliary cancers.
