Teachers’ Real and Perceived of ICTs Supported-Situation for Mathematics Teaching and Learning

Purpose of this research was to gain information related to the real and perceived ICT Infrastructures, Facilities, and Resources in Bojonegara Sub District, Indonesia. This article emphasize the publication of this information because it is needed for implementation of technology-based mathematics teaching and learning. The method used was survey. Instruments of survey were questionnaires, unstructured interview guideline, and handycam. During the survey, total of 220 questionnaire packages were distributed to teachers, however only 119 (response rate 54.1%) of them were filled and returned. A total of 12 teachers were interviewed, with five of these interviews were video recorded. Several head masters welcomed and allowed researcher to visit their schools and make documentation of ICT Infrastructures, facilities, and resources, while the others did not allow the researcher to do that. Based on survey, many important findings have been discovered. It is suggested that the Teachers-Centered Learning with Technology is the most appropriate method of technology-based learning to be implemented

Penenentuan Kawasan Unggulan Agribisnis Ternak Domba di Jawa Barat

Perkembangan ternak domba di wilayah Jawa Barat tidak terlepas dari dukungan potensi wilayah dan kultur beternak masyarakat. Terdapat beberapa wilayah di Jawa Barat sebagai sentra pengembangan ternak domba. Namun, apakah sentra-sentra tersebut telah sesuai dengan daya tampung dan menjadi wilayah unggulan ternak domba. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini ditujukkan untuk melihat daya tampung wilayah terhadap ternak domba, wilayah unggulan ternak domba, dan wilayah pengembangan ternak domba di Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Lokasi yang dijadikan tempat studi adalah Provinsi Jawa Barat. Adapun hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan bahwa wilayah-wilayah di Jawa Barat yang memiliki Indeks Daya Dukung (IDD) hijauan berkateogri aman sebanyak 22 kabupaten/kota. Sedangkan wilayah-wilayah yang masuk kategori ternak domba sebagai ternak unggulan (LQ > 1) ada sebanyak 13 kabupaten/kota. Akan tetapi, berdasarkan hasil 2 analisis, yaitu IDD dan LQ menunjukkan hanya 8 kabupaten dan 3 perkotaan (Kota Bogor, Kota Sukabumi, dan Kota Cirebon) yang berpotensi untuk pengembangan ternak domba ke depan
