Code d'éthique de l'estampe originale = Code of Ethics for Original Printmaking

Malenfant and Ste-Marie introduce this revised version of the Code of Ethics, which takes into account the greater use of new technologies since the first edition was released in 1982, as well as the conclusions of a colloquium held in 1996 entitled “Issues in Printmaking at the Dawn of the 21st Century.” This reference book covers all areas of printmaking, including questions of originality, editions and types of proofs. It also aims at clarifying printmaking vocabulary as it pertains to specific techniques, and defines numbering and identification codes. Includes an appendix with information on copigraphy, offset and digital printmaking; a historical survey of the Loto-Québec print collection; a documentation form; and a synoptic table.
