    Get PDF
Education must continue to adapt to changes to educate the younger generation for the dynamics of industrial revolution 4.0. Religious moderation is practiced in a variety of ways, most notably in education. Reintroducing the Indonesian nation's old writings is one technique to impart religious moderation instruction to the younger generation. With the richness of cultural works that Indonesia has such as ancient manuscripts, it should be able to lead people to live in harmony and peace. However, as a result of the growth of the industrial revolution 4.0, what is happening in our Indonesian life nowadays reveals that many deeds lead to violence and criminality in the name of religion. This study aims to investigate the concept of religious moderation education in the era of manuscript-based education 4.0, which is done using Serat Wedharaga's hermeneutic analysis approach. Researchers will use all available data and analysis to demonstrate how Serat Wedharaga, the work of Raden Ngabehi Ranggawarsita, presents a concept linked to moderation education, which is critical in today's society in the education 4.0 era. This research is based on qualitative data. The data sources in this study consist of two kinds of data, namely primary data sources in the form of Serat Wedharaga manuscript, and secondary data in the form of books, photos, documents, journals, and previous research results that are relevant or related to primary data and research themes. After conducting an in-depth study, it is found that Serat Wedharaga incorporates educational principles such as andragogy education and the value of self-regulation, which includes honesty, tepasalira (tolerance), awas lan eling (cautiousness), and rejecting rumor. The educational values in Serat Wedharaga are relevant to the concept of religious moderation in the education 4.0 era

Religious texts written in Arabic are created as a symbol that is not independent from the influence of cultural and social societies. Arab society, which adheres to the patriarchi system in their life, greatly affects every arrangement of their lives as well as Arabic language. It finally creates gender bias in the Arabic language. The gender bias has explicit symbol / word / sign in Arabic which is called function. Meanwhile, Islam itself contains the source of the Qur’an and hadith which are written in Arabic that strongly supports the dignity of women and men in equal rights and position. To answer the problem above, researchers used qualitative and descriptive research methods to express the form of words and language in context. Meanwhile, data analysis is analyzed by using the theory of disassociation Jacques Derrida to find discrepancies in the content of the text through three stages . The first stage, the verbal stage is a critical reading by finding paradoxes and contradictions in the text. The second stage, the textual stage, attempts to find a deeper meaning in the whole text. The third stage, the linguistic stage, is the stage in which the reader requests the appropriateness of the text, its error and its excessive language. The results of this research is expected to finding gender bias in Arabic language and the factors which cause the problems of gender bias in Arabic and our perspecitve of religous texts written in Arabic. Thus, this research is significant as it contributes in Arabic language

AbstractObjectiveThis study was intended to determine the prevalence of developmental dental anomalies (DDA) among adults attending the outpatient dental clinics of college of dentistry, Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The data obtained are expected to increase the understanding of their etiology and also aid for better management and prevention.Materials and methodsThe materials were retrieved from the files of patients reporting to the dental clinics of college of dentistry, Jazan University over a period of four months from December 2013 to March 2014. Panoramic radiographs of 1000 patients (500 males and 500 females) with an age range of 18–40years were examined for anomalies in teeth number, shape, size and position. Descriptive statistics was performed using SPSS 20 and the value of significance obtained using Chi square and Fisher exact test. The level of significance was set at 95% confidence level.ResultsThe prevalence of DDA was 37.8% and distributed equally in both the sexes. The most common anomaly was rotation (20.2%) followed by ectopic eruption (7.6%). Microdontia (0.9%), supernumerary roots (0.7%), macrodontia (0.6%) and transposition (0.3%) were less common. The prevalence of rotation is statistically significant (p<0.05).Discussion and conclusionA significant number of patients had DDA. The prevalence of rotation was high and associated with other common dental diseases. Comparison of our data with other studies showed variation in their prevalence suggesting the influence of genetic and environmental factors. The high prevalence of DDA suggests the need for proper diagnosis, intervention and treatment. Further research into etiological factors for dental anomaly presentation in adults in Saudi Arabia could create awareness and guide preventive strategies to assist in minimizing the associated dental problems

Purpose: To compare different retentive cap material used in LOCATOR attachments, namely the nylon retentive cap versus PEEK retentive caps, and measure the loss of retention over a period of two years, through 2880 cycles of insertion and removal. Materials and methods: Two implants 3.8mm x 10.5mm were inserted into a clear epoxy resin cast, through a surgical guide, with the implants being 23mm apart. Two LOCATOR attachments with 5 mm gingival height were screwed to the implants, custom made nylon caps were fabricated as an exact replica of the PEEK retentive caps, then two dentures were constructed and pick up were done with both retentive cap materials. A hook was attached to the geometric center of both dentures, and measurement of the retentive forces was accomplished with a universal testing machine, and the data was recorded and analyzed. Results: The amount of retention achieved from PEEK retentive caps was twice that of the nylon retentive caps, indicating high statistical significance (p \u3c 0.001) of the effect of the material and remained so throughout the repeated cycles with (p \u3c 0.001), however both caps showed similar rate of retention loss throughout the study, but the amount of wear was statistically higher in the PEEK group throughout the cycles, except after 2880 cycles. Conclusion: PEEK showed higher retentive properties throughout the cycles, but both materials showed similar rate of retention loss

Foreign language is one of the fundamental elements in creating the world class university. To realize a world class university, the excellent Arabic language learning program is necessary to meet the needs of international communication in the internal and external environment of the campus. This study aimed to explore and analyze the Arabic language learning program at UIN Maliki Malang. The research data were obtained from the interview with campus governance and direct observation of Arabic learning program activities and the documentation of strategic planning of Arabic language learning programs to create a world class university. The interviews were conducted with 10 people of campus institution governance. The results showed that Arabic language learning program in realizing a world class university is an implementation of the university's vision which is contained in the development of an integrated curriculum and ulul albab character. The curriculum is designed in the form of a "tree of knowledge" construction. To form solid scientific roots, linguistic strengthening is needed so that its branches and its twigs are strong too. Language strengthening is manifested in the form of the Special Arabic Language Class Program (PKPBA), Ma'had al-jami'ah program and intensive training for educators and educational staff. These findings indicate that the integration of Arabic language learning programs between internal campus institutions is a measure of success in realizing a world class university. The recommendation for further research was to measure the effectiveness of each program at UIN Maliki Malan
