A INVESTIGAÇÃO DA LITERATURA AMAZÔNICA NO ÂMBITO DO PPGSCA: UM LEVANTAMENTO BIBLIOGRÁFICO (2000-2018)

Desde seu início (1998), o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sociedade e Cultura na Amazônia (PPGSCA) tornou-se um dos primeiros centros de formação acadêmica no Amazonas a se debruçar, entre outros temas (dado seu caráter inter e transdisciplinar), sobre a produção literária amazônica, abrigando pesquisadores tanto da área de Letras quanto de outros ramos das Ciências Humanas e Sociais que têm em comum o interesse pela abordagem interdisciplinar do texto literário. Isso possibilitou a continuidade de formação de uma crítica literária acadêmica no Amazonas (que se iniciava por volta da década de 1980), além de alguns dentre os primeiros trabalhos de teoria e crítica na chamada literatura amazonense. Em vista desses aspectos, nosso objetivo geral é apresentar, a partir do Resumo e da Introdução das dissertações (entre 2000 a 2018) e teses (entre 2014 a 2018), um panorama das principais propostas de leitura do texto literário (considerados pela crítica especializada como integrantes da literatura amazônica) realizadas no âmbito do PPGSCA, e como objetivos específicos: a) identificar as relações interdisciplinares propostas; b) organizar esses trabalhos científicos a partir de aproximações temáticas ou teóricas; e c) fornecer, assim, um apêndice de consulta para pesquisadores que se debrucem nas relações entre literatura e departamentos da socioantropologia e demais áreas afins. Este levantamento é uma pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico e, como referencial teórico, lançamos mão dos estudos sobre a formação da crítica literária brasileira em Rachel Esteves (1997), a história de formação do PPGSCA em Nelson Matos de Noronha (2006) e o processo de pesquisa acadêmica em Nálbia de Araújo Santos & Manuel Raimundo Santana Farias (2016)

Literatura e enunciação: o eu e o duplo, entre narrador-protagonista e interlocutor, em Grande sertão: veredas

Da leitura de Grande sertão: veredas, este trabalho faz uma análise do duplo a partir do narrador-protagonista e o seu interlocutor. Tem como sustentação teórica o estudo realizado por Nicole Bravo (1998), que analisa o duplo como um mito literário característico da literatura ocidental e defende seu surgimento atrelado à experiência subjetiva; assim como o estudo do sistema pronominal de Émile Benveniste (1989; 1991): verificaremos como a presença do duplo no um é a sustentação para configuração da subjetividade do eu-protagonista a partir de sua relação intersubjetiva com os outros personagens inseridos no ambiente narrativo/enunciativo

COMPARISON OF TWO METHODS TO CALCULATE PASSIVE MUSCLE STIFFNESS IN HUMAN

The aim of the present study is to compare and to correlate the results of two methods of calculating the muscle-tendon unit stiffness. Eighteen male and 18 female healthy students performed a hamstring passive stretch at 5º/s until maximum range of motion (ROM) was reached. Angle and passive torque were measured throughout the stretch maneuver and passive stiffness was calculated using two different parts of the torque angle curve. Passive stiffness was then named stiffness10% and stiffnessIII, based on the part of the curve used for calculation of stiffness. Results showed no significant difference between both methods of calculating passive stiffness and a significant high correlation coefficient between stiffness10% and stiffnessIII. StiffnessIII method seems more reliable because of lower dispersion

O presente artigo elege como objeto de investigação a formação da crítica literária acadêmica amazonense e seus itinerários pela poesia lírica do Amazonas, tendo em vista a necessidade de realizar um inventário sobre sua história e compreendê-la como um processo sociocultural. A pesquisa é de caráter bibliográfico, documental e interpretativo, e parte de uma questão: pode-se falar que se formou ou está em formação uma crítica literária acadêmica no Amazonas

A comunicação de más notícias na prática médica é um processo desafiador que envolve compreender a subjetividade do paciente e adotar uma conduta apropriada. Esta revisão de literatura destaca a importância da empatia, individualização, clareza e suporte emocional na comunicação de más notícias. A formação médica adequada e o suporte contínuo são essenciais para capacitar os profissionais de saúde nesse processo. Ao aprimorar a comunicação de más notícias, é possível minimizar o sofrimento do paciente e promover um cuidado mais humano e centrado no paciente

COMPARISON OF VISCOELASTIC STRESS RELAXATION RESPONSE BETWEEN FLEXIBLE AND INFLEXIBLE INDIVIDUALS

The aim of this study was to compare the relaxation reaction after viscoelastic stress induced by passive static stretching during 30s between subjects with different flexibility performance. Eighteen male physical education students were randomly assigned to two groups according to flexibility level of knee extension. During the test the individuals should achieve 90% of maximal ROM and maintain the position for 30s while the stress relaxation was measured as relative decrease of torque. The results of this study show significant differences of range of motion (ROM) between the two groups, but no significant difference in stress relaxation. It can be concluded that viscoelastic stress relaxation is similar between subjects with significantly different flexibility performance after 30s passive static stretching

Este texto surgiu a partir de uma disciplina de verão, da Graduação em Ciências Sociais, da Universidade de Brasília. A disciplina em questão, sociologia do conhecimento, relacionava o conhecimento, a ciência e tecnologia a outras formas de vida, mostrando seus impactos sociais e a maneira como a sociedade influenciava o conteúdo e a forma da dinâmica cognitiva. O que mais nos interessava era encontrar o social no cognitivo, atentando para a maneira como na prática construímos a sociedade e o conhecimento concomitantemente

Multiple brown tumours of tertiary hyperparathyroidism in a renal transplant recipient: : a case report

Tertiary Hyperparathyroidism (HPT) is an uncommon condition that affects patients with secondary HPT after a successful kidney transplant. Bone alterations are the main consequences of this endocrine condition, including the development of an osteolytic lesion called brown tumour. This paper reports an unusual case of multiple brown tumours located in the maxilla and mandible in a 58-year-old renal transplant recipient, with tertiary HPT. Incisional biopsies were performed and, in both samples, the histopathological diagnoses were giant cell lesions. Due to these diagnoses, the medical history of chronic renal failure, and high levels of serum calcium and PTH, lesions were diagnosed as multiple brown tumours of tertiary HPT. The lesions showed regression within the two months following a total parathyroidectomy. Minimal local interventions were established to make an early diagnosis and to treat these lesions. The diagnosis of primary oral lesions was very important in order to demonstrate the relevance of interdisciplinary activity and the inclusion of dentists as part of organ transplant units

Irrigation water quality in smooth lettuce cultivation

Qualitative characteristics of surface and groundwater resources have been poorly verified by agricultural producers, who often irrigate their crops with contaminated water. This work aimed to analyze the quality parameters of two water sources (cistern and Brejão Lagoon) used by vegetable producers around the Brejão Lagoon in Sete Lagoas (MG) and to evaluate the influence of water quality on the growth of butterhead lettuce. Physico-chemical and microbiological analyses of the water sources used for irrigation were carried out, in addition to evaluating the height of the plants. The results of the physical-chemical analyses showed that the water studied is contaminated with fecal coliforms, 16.0 NMP (most likely number) in both samples, but at levels acceptable for Conama. For the electrical conductance, the water from the Brejão Lagoon presented a value of 119.7 mg L-1what is about 6 x greater than that observed in the water from the cistern, which presented a value of 18.89 mg L-1. The quality of the irrigation water did not influence the growth of butterhead lettuce. The pH of the two irrigation water sources used, fit in the values established by Conama. The vegetables’ irrigation sources are contaminated with microorganisms of fecal origin, but that contamination is still within the levels acceptable by Conama. Leafy vegetables can be used as a vehicle of infection for producers and consumers. According to the value determined for the electrical conductivity by Cetesb, the water from the Brejão Lagoon is not within the determined standards
