Measurement for creating a thematic map of the part of Fouskova and Krondlova streets in Brno
Predmetom tejto bakalárskej práce bolo na základe meraní vyhotoviť účelovú mapu vybraných častí mesta Brna v mierke 1:250. Práca zahrňuje celý proces tvorby účelovej mapy, od výberu a rekognoskácie lokality cez meračské práce a spracovanie až po vyhotovenie výslednej kresby. The main object of this bachelor thesis was creating thematical map of selected areas of Brno in scale 1:250 based on surveying. The thesis includes whole process of creating thematical map, from site selection and reconnaissance throug measuring works and processing to working out of the final drawing.
Language Acquisition in a Bilingual Environment
This bachelor thesis focuses on the problems of the term known as Bilingualism. The theoretical part concentrates on the diversity of definitions of Bilingualism, classification of the term according to various criteria, the question of the positive and negative impact of bilingualism on an individual and last but not least on the development of a bilingual child under different conditions. The practical part explores the answers of five bilingual adults who were asked questions. On the basis of their analysis the author came to a conclusion that Bilingualism had only a positive impact on these people and that they did not have serious problems when acquiring the two languages. The author also found out that the individuals had always a dominant and a weaker language and so nobody showed any signs of balanced bilingualism
Teaching the grammar of questions and negations: an innovative approach
This article presents an innovative approach to teaching English tenses, more precisely to teaching the grammar of questions and negative sentences. It describes, analyses and compares the innovative top-down approach with the traditional methods. It introduces the reader to the theoretical concept of the English predicate structure, on which the new approach is based. Consequently, the paper explains how the theoretical approach may be beneficial in practice, i.e. in English language teaching. Compared to the traditional methods, the paper shows that the grammar of questions and negatives of all tenses can be explained using three simple rules. Finally, the paper lists the advantages and disadvantages of the new method and suggests suitable target students
Various use of geophysical measurements during new archaeo-hydrological project along the Jizera river, Czech Republic
The new archaeo-hydrological project has been based on the combination of old and new archaeological and hydrological data from riverine cultural landscape of the Jizera river. The role of geophysical methods is additional terrestrial survey along the river banks, inside of flood plain areas or on settled or enclosed terraces
Suitability of various machine learning approaches for recognition of antisocial behaviour on social networks
[EN] Nowadays, social networks allow web users to express publicly agreement or disagreement with other people and express freely their opinions. This freedom is often abused and that is why we can see social networks that are full of offensive comments. The increase in textual data on the Internet has stimulated the emergence of new scientific fields as web mining that examine short texts in the online space and look for hate or offensive speech, and that try to analyze textual data in online space. Our paper is focused on a special type of analysis concentrated on detection of some forms of antisocial behaviour, particularly on hate speech, offensive posts, and cyberbullying recognition in the online space. The main goal of the work was to find out which of the machine learning strategies - classic, deep or ensemble - are the most effective in detecting of these forms of antisocial behaviour on social networks. We have compared models generated by the following methods: deep learning of neural networks (LSTM, and GRU), classical methods (SVM, NB, and DT), and ensemble learning (RF, AdaBoost). We have tested those methods on three datasets created from posts of various volume to find how the volume of data available for training affects the results of machine learning models. The best result on the smallest Hate Speech Dataset were achieved by ensemble learning using AdaBoost (Accuracy=0,904). On the other hand, the best result on the largest Offensive Speech Dataset was achieved by deep learning using GRU (Accuracy=0.964).Scientific Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, and the Slovak Academy of Sciences under grant no. 1/0685/21 and the Slovak Research and Development Agency under grant no. Determination of Value Drivers for Transport Companies in the Czech Republic
Transport is one of the key sectors of the European economy. Effectiveness of transport companies depends mainly on the changes in the given environment. Transport companies differ from other types of companies especially in higher focus on ecology, not storing the services offered or high cost investments. The aim of each business is generally the increase of the value of the company. The objective of this contribution is thus to identify the value drivers of a transport company in the Czech Republic, provided that the value of the company is measured by means of the EVA equity indicator. The data set contains complete financial statements of 1500 transport companies in the Czech Republic for the year 2016. For each company, the EVA equity value is calculated. For the analysis, the Statistica software and the method of artificial neural networks are used. 1000 neural networks are generated, out of which 5 showing the best results are retained. In total, 12 variables are chosen that enter/play a part in the process of the company value creation. Based on the sensitivity analysis, the most important components of the variable are the financial result, consumption of material and energy and the profit on ordinary operations
The Particular Mapping of the Nearest Surroundings Graph of the Actual Web Page
The paper presents an approach to partial mapping of a web sub-graph. This sub-graph contains the nearest surroundings of the actual web page. Our work deals with acquiring relevant Hyperlinks of a base web site, generation of adjacency matrix, the nearest distance matrix and matrix of converted distances of Hyperlinks, detection of compactness of web representation, and visualization of its graphical representation. The paper introduces an LWP algorithm – a technique for Hyperlink filtration. This work attempts to help users with the orientation within the web graph
Various Approaches to Web Information Processing
The paper focuses on the field of automatic extraction of information from texts and text document categorisation including pre-processing of text documents, which can be found on the Internet. In the frame of the presented work, we have devoted our attention to the following issues related to text categorisation: increasing the precision of categorisation algorithm results with the aid of a boosting method; searching a minimum number of decision trees, which enables the improvement of the categorisation; the influence of unlabeled data with predicted categories on categorisation precision; shortening click streams needed to access a given web document; and generation of key words related with a web document. The paper presents also results of experiments, which were carried out using the 20 News Groups and Reuters-21578 collections of documents and a collection of documents from an Internet portal of the Markiza broadcasting company
