Object Detection on GPU

Tato práce se zabývá detekcí objektů pomocí grafických procesorů . Jako její součást byl navržen a naimplementován nástroj pro detekci objektů na technologii NVIDIA CUDA , umožňující detekovat objekty ve videu v reálném čase nebo zpracovávat velké množství fotografií . Jejím cílem je prozkoumat aktuální možnosti technologie NVIDIA CUDA vzhledem k detekci objektů a navrhnout , jak by se daly akcelerovat .This thesis addresses the topic of object detection on graphics processing units. As a part of it, a system for object detection using NVIDIA CUDA was designed and implemented, allowing for realtime video object detection and bulk processing. Its contribution is mainly to study the options of NVIDIA CUDA technology and current graphics processing units for object detection acceleration. Also parallel algorithms for object detection are discussed and suggested.

This thesis deals with possibilities of reclamation of the Zaječí gravel pit by using the principles of controlled succession. The thesis evaluates the succession potential of poplar populations in the vicinity of the gravel pit and proposes its further management for the reclamation of the northern shore of the mining lake. The thesis is based on wind flow data analysis, field investigations, literature and case studies, which are applied with respect to the specifics of the site. The result is the proposal for the reclamation of the northern shore of the Zaječí gravel pit, including management steps which will lead to the defined goal. The presented proposal provides an alternative to the planned technical and biological reclamations of the Zaječí gravel pit

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá marketignovými komunikačními nástroji a jejich bližší analýzou. Úvodní část je věnována teoretickému popisu, co je to marketigový mix a jaká je úloha komunikačního mixu v systému marketingového procesu. Dále je zde uvedeno jednotlivé členění základních prvků marketingového mixu V praktické části jsou uplatňovány vědomosti nabyté z teorie. Práce se zabývá situační analýzou firmy a situační analýzou vnějšího a tržního okolí firmy. Na závěr jsou uvedeny jednotlivé návrhy změn v komunikačním mixu společnosti a jejich uvedení do praxe.This bachelor work is dealing with marketing’s communications tools and their nearer analysis. Introduction is attend to theoretic description, what is the marketing mix and what is exercise communications mix in system of marketing process. Diplomová práce se zabývá identifikací marketingových činností probíhajících ve vybrané firmě. V první kapitole jsou vymezeny základní marketingové pojmy: marketingový mix, marketingová komunikace, marketingové řízení. Druhá kapitola rozšiřuje teorii o metodiky zkoumání analýzou SWOT a analýzou prostředí podniku. Třetí kapitola je věnována situační analýze firmy. Čtvrtá kapitola se blíže věnuje analýze marketingového mixu. Pátá a šestá část je věnována praktickému využití teoretických poznatků SWOT analýzy a situační analýze firmy. Cílem diplomové práce je vyhodnotit silné a slabé stránky firmy, příležitosti a hrozby, následně provést analýzu podnikového mikro a makro prostředí, navrhnout firmě doporučení a stanovit prioritní cíle marketingového řízení.This thesis is concerned with identification of marketing activities proceeding in the company. In the first charter there are efined basic marketing conseptions: marketing mix, marketing communication, marketing control. The second chapter extends theory about methodology of investigation by SWOT analysis and analysis of company environment. The third chapter is dedicated to situation analysis of the company. The forth chapter more closely attends to analysis of marketing mix. The fifth and the sixth chapter are dedicated to practical usage of theoretic findings of SWOT analysis and situation analysis of the company. Stress factors in the working environment of consulting firms

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá stresovými faktory v pracovním prostředí poradenských firem. Dlouhodobé působení těchto faktorů může velmi negativně ovlivnit lidský organismu. Snahou ambiciózních firem by tedy měla být snaha eliminovat zdroje stresu, a zajistit tak co nejvyšší úroveň pracovní spokojenosti svých zaměstnanců. Autor této diplomové práce zjišťuje míru, příčiny a důsledky stresu z pohledu zaměstnanců na různých organizačních úrovních společnosti APOGEO GROUP. Následně předkládá možná nápravná řešení z pohledu respondentů. Jako hlavní metoda pro sběr dat bylo zvoleno dotazníkové šetření, které je následně doplněné polostrukturovanými rozhovory s několika zaměstnanci firmy. Autor ve firmě identifikuje několik zásadních příčin stresu na rovině činností (např. prezentace před důležitým publikem), ale také příčiny na rovině pracovního prostředí (např. odpovědnost za svoji práci nebo práci druhých). Z dlouhodobého hlediska se stres u pracovníků této společnosti projevuje únavou a vyčerpáním. Přesto je však ve firmě míra psychické zátěže na úrovni, při které není pravděpodobně ovlivněno zdraví, subjektivní stav ani výkonnost.This diploma thesis concerns stress factors in the work environment of consulting companies. Such stress factors, the author argues, can have negative long-term effects on the human body. Ambitious companies should therefore strive to eliminate sources of stress, thus ensuring the highest possible level of job satisfaction for employees. The thesis examines the degree, causes and consequences of stress from the point of view of employees working at various organisational levels of the APOGEO GROUP. It then presents possible corrective solutions to lower the levels of stress experienced by these employees. A questionnaire survey was chosen as the main method for data collection, supplemented by semi-structured interviews with several company employees. Based on this information, the thesis identifies several fundamental causes of stress: some relating to specific activities (e.g. a presentation to an important audience), and some stemming from the work environment itself (e.g. the responsibility for one’s own work or the work of others). The thesis finds that employees of the APOGEO GROUP feel mental stress as resulting in fatigue and exhaustion; however, stress levels are not high enough to seriously affect their health, condition or performance
