Variants of NESTOR injection remote control
The two variants of remote control linac-60 for injection of the electron beam in the storage-ring ''NESTOR'' is described. First variant of the autonomous remote control for linac design from the decoder 155ID3. In the second variant use ADAM–4051 as encoder, while the decoders are the controllers ADAM-5051E, using for auto-loking and plase control linac. The controllers help automation process diagnostics of this accelerator during its malfunction.
The biological basis for the use of acrylic hydrogel and protein growth stimulant in the soft wheat and triticale cultivation

production and use including biopreparations based on acrylic hydrogel and protein growth
stimulant, which is obtained by chemical hydrolysis from by-products of slaughtered animals
processing is carried out as part of the optimization of the phytosanitary condition of wheat crops
and creation of favourable agro-ecological conditions for its cultivation. An important feature of
acrylic hydrogel is the ability to retain and release water to plants when needed. At the same time,
protein hydrolysate can provide plants with an additional source of nitrogen which is a component
of plant proteins, chlorophyll and it is necessary for normal growth and development of plants
during the vegetation. The addition of the protein growth stimulant to acrylic hydrogel expands
the potential application of Super Moisture Absorbent (SMA) due to the long-term growthstimulating effect on plants. The acrylic hydrogel and protein growth stimulant were added to the
soil when wheat sowing in the certain concentrations and proportions. Wheat productivity was
studied by the indicators complex, characterized the plants morphological features and the yield
structure. Assessment of the degree of plant affection caused by pathogens was carried out both
according to the generally accepted phytopathological indicator - conditional intensity of
development, and using additional parameters. In the research, it was found that acrylic hydrogel
and protein growth stimulant provide an increase in wheat yield and reduce the pathogens
harmfulness. In combined application, they can be used in agriculture for wheat cultivation as a
low-cost and environmentally friendly soil conditioner
Linac failure diagnostics
The data processing subroutine from 60 discrete detectors is developed for the operating control system [1] of the technological linac. It uses a dialogue regime of work. This subroutine allows us to find a basic cause of linac failures in certain circuit, as well as the site of fault. Recommendations for repair are also given
Engineered 3D vessel-on-chip using hiPSC-derived endothelial- and vascular smooth muscle cells
Crosstalk between endothelial cells (ECs) and pericytes or vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) is essential for the proper functioning of blood vessels. This balance is disrupted in several vascular diseases but there are few experimental models which recapitulate this vascular cell dialogue in humans. Here, we developed a robust multi-cell type 3D vessel-on-chip (VoC) model based entirely on human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). Within a fibrin hydrogel microenvironment, the hiPSC-derived vascular cells self-organized to form stable microvascular networks reproducibly, in which the vessels were lumenized and functional, responding as expected to vasoactive stimulation. Vascular organization and intracellular Ca2+ release kinetics in VSMCs could be quantified using automated image analysis based on open-source software CellProfiler and ImageJ on widefield or confocal images, setting the stage for use of the platform to study vascular (patho)physiology and therapy.Cardiolog
Control system by the technological electron linac KUT-20
The high-power technological electron linac KUT-20 was developed at the Science Research Complex “Accelerator” of NSC KIPT. The linac consists of two 1.2 m length accelerating structures with a variable geometry and an injector. The latter comprises a diode electron gun, a klystron type buncher and an accelerating cavity. With a RF supply power at accelerating structure entries of 11 MW and with a current at the accelerator exit of 1 A, the beam energy will be up to 20 MeV. An average beam power is planned to be 20 kW [1]. All systems of the accelerator are controlled by a computerised control system. The program & technical complex consist of PC equipped with fast ADC, control console, synchronization unit, microprocessor-operated complexes
Control system in the technological electron linacs
In recent years in the Science Research Complex "Accelerator" in NSC KIPT the power current technological electron linacs are developed and put into operation. Their energy varies from 8 MeV to 30 MeV, the pulse current does not exceed 1A and the operating frequency is 150-300 Hz. The one- section linacs, KUT and LU-10, and two- section linac EPOS are used primarily for technological aims. The technological object zone irradiated by accelerated electrons is created with the magnet scanning syste
