Nematode parasites of the characid freshwater fish Brycon guatemalensis in the Usumacinta River, Chiapas, Mexico
During the study of the helminth parasites of some fishes of the Usumacinta River in the locality Frontera Corozal (Frontera Echeverria), State of Chiapas, Mexico, 2 species of South American  nematodes, Neocucullanus  neocucullanus Travassos, Artigas et Pereira, 1928 from Brazil and Rhabdochona acuminata (Molin, 1860) from Brazil, Ecuador and Argentina were recovered from the intestine of the characid fish, Brycon guatemalensis.

Serological Findings in a Child with Paroxysmal Cold Haemoglobinuria
PCH is a rare autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) but is one of the most common causes of AIAH in children. Uncertainty Analysis in New Seismic Hazard Study of Spain Aimed at the Revision of the Spanish Building Code.
In this paper we present a global overview of the recent study carried out in Spain for the new hazard map, which final goal is the revision of the Building Code in our country (NCSE-02). The study was carried our for a working group joining experts from The Instituto Geografico Nacional (IGN) and the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) , being the different phases of the work supervised by an expert Committee integrated by national experts from public institutions involved in subject of seismic hazard. The PSHA method (Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Assessment) has been followed, quantifying the epistemic uncertainties through a logic tree and the aleatory ones linked to variability of parameters by means of probability density functions and Monte Carlo simulations. In a first phase, the inputs have been prepared, which essentially are: 1) a project catalogue update and homogenization at Mw 2) proposal of zoning models and source characterization 3) calibration of Ground Motion Prediction Equations (GMPE’s) with actual data and development of a local model with data collected in Spain for Mw < 5.5. In a second phase, a sensitivity analysis of the different input options on hazard results has been carried out in order to have criteria for defining the branches of the logic tree and their weights. Finally, the hazard estimation was done with the logic tree shown in figure 1, including nodes for quantifying uncertainties corresponding to: 1) method for estimation of hazard (zoning and zoneless); 2) zoning models, 3) GMPE combinations used and 4) regression method for estimation of source parameters. In addition, the aleatory uncertainties corresponding to the magnitude of the events, recurrence parameters and maximum magnitude for each zone have been also considered including probability density functions and Monte Carlo simulations The main conclusions of the study are presented here, together with the obtained results in terms of PGA and other spectral accelerations SA (T) for return periods of 475, 975 and 2475 years. The map of the coefficient of variation (COV) are also represented to give an idea of the zones where the dispersion among results are the highest and the zones where the results are robust
Consensus statement on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of angioedema mediated by Bradykinin. Part. II: treatment, follow-up, and special situations
Background: There are no previous Spanish guidelines or consensus statements on bradykinin-induced angioedema.
Aim: To draft a consensus statement on the management and treatment of angioedema mediated by bradykinin in light of currently available
scientifi c evidence and the experience of experts. This statement will serve as a guideline to health professionals.
Methods: The consensus was led by the Spanish Study Group on Bradykinin-Induced Angioedema, a working group of the Spanish Society
of Allergology and Clinical Immunology. A review was conducted of scientifi c papers on different types of bradykinin-induced angioedema
(hereditary and acquired angioedema due to C1 inhibitor defi ciency, hereditary angioedema related to estrogens, angioedema induced by
angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors). Several discussion meetings were held to reach the consensus.
Results: Treatment approaches are discussed, and the consensus reached is described. Specifi c situations are addressed, namely, pregnancy,
contraception, travelling, blood donation, and organ transplantation.

Magnetic properties and giant magnetoresistance in melt-spun CoCu alloys
Magnetic, structural, and transport properties of as quenched and annealed Co10Cu90 samples have been investigated using x¿ray diffraction and a SQUID magnetometer. The largest value of MR change was observed for the as¿quenched sample annealed at 450°C for 30 min. The magnetic and transport properties closely correlate with the microstructure, mainly with Co magnetic particle size and its distribution. For thermal annealing the as quenched samples below 600°C, the Co particle diameters increase from 4.0 to 6.0 nm with a magnetoresistance (MR) drop from 33.0% to 5.0% at 10 K. Comparison with the theory indicates that the interfacial electron spin¿dependent scattering mechanism correlates with GMR for Co particle diameters up to about 6.0 nm
HReMAS: Hybrid Real-time Musical Alignment System
[EN] This paper presents a real-time audio-to-score alignment system for musical applications. The aim of these systems is to synchronize a live musical performance with its symbolic representation in a music sheet. We have used as a base our previous real-time alignment system by enhancing it with a traceback stage, a stage used in offline alignment to improve the accuracy of the aligned note. This stage introduces some delay, what forces to assume a trade-off between output delay and alignment accuracy that must be considered in the design of this type of hybrid techniques. We have also improved our former system to execute faster in order to minimize this delay. Solubility of the metal precursor Ni(NO3)2â‹…6H2O in high-pressure CO2 + ethanol mixtures
The solubility of Ni(NO3)2⋅6H2O in high-pressure CO2 + ethanol mixtures was measured using a high-pressure variable-volume view cell from (308.2 to 353.2 K) and up to 25.0 MPa. This compound has been used previously as a Ni precursor in metal deposition experiments using supercritical CO2. Ni(NO3)2•6H2O was not soluble in pure CO2 but the addition of ethanol into the system allowed the solubilisation of the hydrated salt in the mixture. Mole fraction of Ni(NO3)2•6H2O varied from 1.67 10-4 to 1.97 10-3. At these salt concentrations, the phase diagram of the CO2 + EtOH + Ni(NO3)2⋅6H2O system resembled that of the CO2 + EtOH binary system and, at the studied conditions, a vapourliquid equilibrium was observed. For the higher ethanol concentrations, the bubble points closely matched those of the CO2 + EtOH system. For the lower EtOH concentrations, however, much higher solubilisation pressures were required, due to the release of water molecules from the salt into the solution.
