Encarnando la memoria de los muertos silenciados en Herztier y Atemschaukel de Herta Müller

Este artículo se centra en la representación de los muertos silenciados en Herztier y Atemschaukel de Herta Müller. El punto de partida es la hipótesis de que la figura de los muertos sirve a Müller para reivindicar la importancia, según las suposiciones de Thomas W. Laqueur, de "la obra de los muertos", para la memoria colectiva de la comunidad germano-rumana del Banato y de toda Rumanía. En ambas novelas se analizan tres elementos clave de la representación de la memoria de los muertos en la Rumanía dictatorial y postdictatorial: la forma precisa de morir, la corporeidad de los muertos y su relación con los objetos y, finalmente, la presencia fantasmal de los muertos entre los vivos, ya sea a través de objetos o en forma de sueño. La presencia de los muertos entre los vivos en el universo de Müller no es reconfortante, sino difícil, fantasmal e inquietante

The processes of globalisation and the development of a common, united Europe entail the migration of people to various parts of our continent. Nowadays migration is mostly related to the search for employment by people at various stages of their lives. The contact with a different cultural and professional reality might be surprising and often arouses feelings which are far from positive. In the context of these processes intercultural competence, now called a key competence, a prerequisite for functioning in the post-modern, multicultural world, is assigned a particular significance. Equally central is, however, becoming familiar with the conditions of a country’s professional culture. Only then can we talk about effective functioning on the European job market. Numerous young people at the stage of high school education declare the will to build their future abroad. Therefore, it is necessary to search for tools which would render it possible for trainees to enter into professional life and cultural reality of a foreign country. One of such tools are the Leonardo da Vinci mobility programmes, which help students grow to know chosen professional fields while simultaneously “immersing themselves” in the deepest cultural strata of a given country. The essence of the above subject matter shall be discussed on the example of a mobility programme carried out in Germany, in the Construction Training Centre.Procesy globalizacyjne oraz budowa wspólnej, zjednoczonej Europy warunkują przemieszczanie się ludności w różne miejsca naszego kontynentu. W dzisiejszych czasach ruchy migracyjne związane są najczęściej z poszukiwaniem zatrudnienia przez osoby znajdujące się na różnych etapach swojego życia. Zetknięcie z odmienną rzeczywistością kulturowo-zawodową bywa zaskakujące i budzi niejednokrotnie niepozytywne emocje. W kontekście powyższych procesów przypisuje się szczególne znaczenie kompetencji interkulturowej określanej obecnie mianem kompetencji kluczowej, niezbędnej do funkcjonowania w postnowoczesnym, wielokulturowym świecie. Równie istotne jest jednak poznanie uwarunkowań zawodowej kultury narodowej. Dopiero wówczas można mówić o efektywnym funkcjonowaniu na europejskim rynku pracy. Wielu młodych ludzi będących na etapie kształcenia ponadgimnazjalnego deklaruje chęć budowania swojej przyszłości poza granicami kraju. Dlatego należy poszukiwać narzędzi, które umożliwią adeptom nauki zawodu wejście w obszary życia zawodowego oraz innej rzeczywistości kulturowej. Jednym z takich instrumentów są projekty mobilności programu Leonardo da Vinci, pozwalające na poznanie wybranych obszarów zawodowych przy równoczesnym „zanurzeniu” się w najgłębsze warstwy kulturowe kraju natywnego użytkownika języka. Istotę powyższej tematyki omówi Autorka na przykładzie jednego z projektów mobilności, realizowanego w Niemczech, w Centrum Kształcenia Budowlanego

The restructuralization process in the field of research and development and the barriers that have appeared during this process in the former Soviet Union and the former Soviet bloc countries are presented in this article. The author has paid particular attention to the role of transformation in the area of industrial research, an area that has suffered the most due to the new political and economic conditions. Furthermore, the author discusses the role of particular factors that determine the institutional transformation process, including the financial factors. The author also shows the differences among the restructuralization processes in selected countries, above all the differences in the situation of research personnel.W artykule zostały przedstawione uwarunkowania procesu restrukturyzacji sfery badawczo-rozwojowej - bariery występujące w trakcie realizacji tego procesu w byłych krajach socjalistycznych. Autor zwraca szczególną uwagę na rolę przekształceń w sferze badań przemysłowych, które najbardziej ucierpiały w wyniku nowych uwarunkowań politycznych i ekonomicznych. Ponadto omawia rolę czynników determinujących proces przemian instytucjonalnych, w tym czynników finansowych. Pokazuje także różnice w procesie restrukturyzacji między poszczególnymi krajami, a zwłaszcza sytuację kadr badawczych

EPR of photochromic Mo3+ in SrTiO3

In single crystals of SrTiO_3, a paramagnetic center, characterized by S = 3/2 and hyperfine interaction with an I = 5/2 nuclear spin has been observed in the temperature range 4.2K-77K by means of EPR. The impurity center is attributed to Mo3+. No additional line splitting in the EPR spectrum due to the 105K phase transition has been observed. At 4.2K the following spin Hamiltonian parameters for this impurity ion were obtained: g = 1.9546\pm0.0010 and A = (32.0\pm0.05)\times10^-4 cm^-1.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figure

THE CONVERGENCE OF THE ECONOMIC SIZE OF FARMS IN POLAND – THE ECONOMETRIC ANALYSIS

The research discussed in the article concerned the level of development of agriculture in Poland. The main aim of the study was to verify the hypothesis of convergence of the economic size of farms. The analysis confirmed the existence of beta-convergence, however, showed no occurrence of sigma-convergence and gamma-convergence. Based on the results of the analysis of marginal vertical beta-convergence, Poland was divided into two clubs with different paths of development. In one of them the process of convergence was confirmed, but in the second one the phenomenon of divergence was revealed.Badanie opisane w artykule dotyczyło upodabniania się poziomu rozwoju rolnictwa w Polsce, którego miernikiem była wielkość ekonomiczna przeciętnego w województwie gospodarstwa rolnego. Głównym jego celem była weryfikacja hipotezy o zachodzeniu konwergencji wielkości ekonomicznej gospodarstw. Przeprowadzona analiza potwierdziła zjawisko konwergencji typu beta, jednak nie wykazano zachodzenia konwergencji typu sigma ani gamma. Na podstawie wyników analizy krańcowej konwergencji typu beta, podzielono Polskę na dwa kluby o odmiennych ścieżkach rozwoju. W jednym stwierdzono zjawisko konwergencji, w drugim dywergencji
