A pénzügyi szektorok termelékenységét befolyásoló tényezők vizsgálata különös tekintettel a szellemi tulajdonjogok hatásaira
Can intellectual property rights impact directly on productivity: a case study in manufacturing industries
According to the institutional economics thesis the role of IPRs is one of the relevant determinants of
economic growth in long run. Measures of IPRs have been limited and empirical studies have not been
able to evaluate their impacts on productivity growth. The major conclusion that the author can be drawn
from his estimations is that the extent to which patent rights and trademarks, ceteris paribus, positively
correlated with output per capita depends on the intensity of technology
A termelékenységben bekövetkezett változások technológia-intenzív ágazati megközelítésben
A tanulmányban elsősorban a munkatermelékenységben
bekövetkezett szektorális változások-ra koncentráltunk. A
kutatásaink során egyrészt arra a kérdésre kerestük a
választ, hogy ezek a változások mely ágazatokban
eredményeztek ún. baumoli értelemben használt strukturális
nyereségeket és veszteségeket. Másrészt arra voltunk
kíváncsiak, hogy az általunk vizsgált 1970 és 2007 közötti
időszakban az egy munkavállalóra jutó kibocsátás növekedési
üteméhez a teljes tényező-termelékenység (TFP) és a fizikai
tőkeállomány változása milyen mértékben járultak hozzá. A
vizsgálatainkat az ún. hatás-arány (shift-share) analízis és
a növekedés számviteli (growth accounting) módszertana
segítségével az OECD mintegy tíz tagországára vonatkozóan
végeztük el egy technológia-intenzív ágazati megközelítésben
Impact of human capital on productivity growth in different labour-skilled branches
The primary objective of this study is to analyse the impact of human capital accumulation on productivity growth in a sectoral approach. In our estimations, we followed a specific taxonomy to identify the features of output and employment growth tendencies in four different labour-skilled branches in OECD countries. Besides determining the differences of output and labour structure by standard descriptive statistics, we used a dynamic panel regression method to investigate the connection between physical and human capital, employment, and productivity growth in each sector. All in all, we found an increasing role of human capital (HC) from the period between 1985 and 2007. Analysing the time series panel data of these countries, our results also yield valid relationships between the level of education and productivity growth
