Teaching Style in Physical Education and Changes of Daily Physical Activity after One Academic Year in Adolescents: GEOS Study
Increased Moderate-Vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and reduced sedentary time (ST) are key factors for a healthy lifestyle during childhood and adolescence. Studies have suggested that schools may be effective resources to promote healthy habits (Sallis, McKenzie et al. 2012). Therefore, in PE, is important to assess how teachers use strategies and provide students tools to engage in PA with the purpose of reduce the risk of sedentary behavior and contribute to promotion MVPA habits for a healthy lifestyle (Lonsdale, C. et al., 2013). Many factors may be involved in the successful PE class to promote healthy out-school behaviors, as teaching styles (TS), learning styles, learning time, motivation and so on (Mosston, M. 1966). Regarding TS, there is a lack of knowledge about influence of the teaching style (TS) in the promotion of daily MVPA. It was our aim to observe the differences of total daily PA dimensions between two groups of adolescents who were taught during a whole academic year using reproducing (RK) or producing knowledge (PK) TSs.Universidad de Málaga. Fair linking mechanisms for resource allocation with correlated player types
The proceeding at: Second International Conference,Networked Systems (NETYS 2014), took place 2014. May 15-17. in Marrakech, Morocco.Resource allocation is one of the most relevant problems in the area of Mechanism Design for computing systems. Devising algorithms capable of providing efficient and fair allocation is the objective of many previous research efforts. Usually, the mechanisms they propose use payments in order to deal with selfishness. Since using payments is undesirable in some contexts, a family of mechanisms without payments is proposed in this paper. These mechanisms extend the Linking Mechanism of Jackson and Sonnenschein introducing a generic concept of fairness with correlated preferences. We prove that these mechanisms have good incentive, fairness, and efficiency properties. To conclude, we provide an algorithm, based on the mechanisms, that could be used in practical computing environments.Publicad

Fair linking mechanisms for resource allocation with correlated player types
Resource allocation is one of the most relevant problems in the area of Mechanism Design for computing systems. Devising algorithms capable of providing efficient and fair allocation is the objective of many previous research efforts. Usually, the mechanisms they propose deal with selfishness by introducing utility transfers or payments.

Possible Explosive Dispersal Outflow in IRAS 16076-5134 revealed with ALMA
We present 0.9 mm continuum and CO (3-2) line emission observations retrieved
from the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) archive toward the
high-mass star formation region IRAS 16076-5134. We identify fourteen dense
cores with masses between 0.3 to 22 M. We find an ensemble of
filament-like CO (3-2) ejections from -62 to +83 km s that appear to
arise radially from a common central position, close to the dense core MM8. The
ensemble of filaments, has a quasi-isotropic distribution in the plane of the
sky. The radial velocity of several filaments follow a linear velocity
gradient, incresing from a common origin. Considering the whole ensemble of
filaments, we estimate its total mass to be 138 and 216 M from its CO
emission, for 70 K and 140 K respectively. Also, assuming a constant velocity
expansion of the filaments (of 83 km s) we estimate the dynamical age of
the outflowing material (3500 years), its momentum (~10 M km
s) and its kinetic energy (~10 erg). The morphology and
kinematics presented by the filaments suggest the presence of a dispersal
outflow with explosive characteristics in IRAS 16076-5134. In addition, we make
a raw estimate of the lower limit of the frequency rate of the explosive
dispersal outflows in the Galaxy (one every 110 years) considering constant
star formation rate and efficiency with respect to the galactocentric radius of
the Galaxy. This may imply a comparable rate of dispersal outflows and
supernovae (approximately one every 50 years), which may be important for the
energy budget of the Interstellar Medium and the link between dispersal
outflows and high-mass star formation.Comment: 13 pages, 8 figures. ApJ accepte
Multiple shells driven by disk winds: ALMA observations in the HH 30 outflow
We present archive Atacama Large Millimeter/Submillimeter Array (ALMA) Band 6
observations of the CO (J=2-1) and CO (J=2-1) molecular line
emission of the protostellar system associated with HH 30. The CO
molecular line shows the accretion disk while the molecular outflow is traced
by the emission of the CO molecular line. We estimated a dynamical mass
for the central object of M, and a mass for the molecular
outflow of M. The molecular outflow presents
an internal cavity as well as multiple outflowing shell structures. We
distinguish three different shells with constant expansion ( km
s) and possible rotation signatures ( km s). We find
that the shells can be explained by magnetocentrifugal disk winds with
launching radii au and a small magnetic lever arm
. The multiple shell structure may be the result of
episodic ejections of the material from the accretion disk associated with
three different epochs with dynamical ages of yr, yr, and
yr for the first, second, and third shells, respectively. The
outermost shell was ejected yr before the medium shell, while the
medium shell was launched yr before the innermost shell. Our
estimations of the linear and angular momentum rates of the outflow as well as
the accretion luminosity are consistent with the expected values if the outflow
of HH 30 is produced by a wide-angle disk wind
Review of the “state of the art” and possibilities of the most significant approaches to the specific delivery of chemotherapy agents to tumor cells
The main problems related to chemotherapy mainly come from a relative lack of selectivity, that is
associated to the extensive biodistribution of antitumor molecules, and to the severe side effects
generated by the unspecific drug action on healthy tissues and organs. The need of finding out
efficient treatments against cancer has led to an enhancement in the number of research lines in the
field. In this way, one of the most promising approaches is the development of biodegradable colloids
for the delivery of antitumor drugs. Thanks to them, it is possible to specifically concentrate the drug
into the site of action. Therefore, a significant improvement of the chemotherapy effect is obtained
along with a minimization of the related adverse side effects. In this review, we analyze the current
“state of the art” in the development of colloidal systems for the efficient delivery of anticancer
drugs. The possibilities of novel drug delivery strategies based on passive and active targeting mechanisms are also discussed
We present the clinical study of 17 breakage of the LD expansive metalling ring, of 779 total hip prosthesis (2,2%) implanted in our Service from 1989 to 1994. An analysis was performed to discover the reasons of the breakage. Dominated in patients with a high activity and overweight. In the roentgenographic analysis of the ring, we emphaise insufficient cover and migration of the ring as predisposing factors in 16 patients (94,1%). For these facts we performed a finite and mechanical element analysis that changed the original ring. The new ring is hyrdoxiapatite coated and the hole for the screws have move periferically. The thickness and the space between slits have been also reduced
