Argudio testua eskolan gehien landu ohi den testu generoa da eta hori erakusten du Batxilergorako curriculumak. Lan honen abiapuntua joan den urtean egindako ikerketa bat izan da, non argudio-testuak lantzeko sekuentzia didaktiko bat prestatzea zen helburu. Bertan ikasleek idatzitako iritzi artikuluak aztertu ziren abiapuntu gisa idaz kontsigna bat erabiliz. Testu haiek egitura aldetik ongi eraikiak zeuden, baina argudio testuetan hain ohikoa den besteari erreferentzia egiteko modurik ez zen ageri eta arazoa kontsignan bertan zegoen, ez baitzuen helbururik zehazten. Beraz, kontsigna hark eragindako arazoak oinarri harturik datozen orrialdeetan kontsigna batek ondorengo ekoizpen idatzietan duen eragin zuzena frogatu da eta era horretan testu egokiagoak aurki daitezkeela, nahiz eta testu generoak eska ditzakeen alderdi guztiak ez diren ongi menderatuko. Love Enough! Dionne Brand and Rosi Braidotti’s Affective Transpositions

AbstractThis article puts Dionne Brand’s novel, Love Enough (2014), in conversation with the vitalist philosophy of Rosi Braidotti, as illustrated in the study Transpositions: On Nomadic Ethics (2006). I look at how both poet and theorist insist on the centrality of affective relations in the transformation of subjectivity, political alliances, and ethical spaces under processes of uneven globalization, rampant neoliberalism, and feminist backlash. Dionne Brand’s cross-border material poetics proposes alternative figurations of the subject through exercises of creative repetition, zigzagging between temporal and spatial frameworks, signaling the constant transformation of material, political and social bodies. Brand’s transposable moves follow a similar pattern to Braidotti’s nomadic cartographies in that both resist a naïve return to sentimentality or nostalgic love to advocate instead a turn to sustainable affects and passions; a call for love as a mode of action that can reorient the system by embracing our potential as feminist subjects.RésuméCet article engage le dialogue entre le roman de Dionne Brand, Love Enough (2014), et la philosophie vitaliste de Rosi Braidotti, telle qu’illustrée dans l’étude Transpositions: On Nomadic Ethics (2006). J’examine comment la poétesse tout comme la théoricienne insistent sur la centralité des relations affectives dans la transformation de la subjectivité, des alliances politiques et des espaces éthiques dans le cadre de processus de mondialisation déséquilibrée, de néolibéralisme rampant et de réactions féministes. La poésie matérielle transfrontalière de Dionne Brand propose des figurations alternatives du sujet par le biais d’exercices de répétition créative, qui zigzaguent entre les cadres temporels et spatiaux, pour signaler la constante transformation des corps physiques, politiques et sociaux. Les mouvements transposables de Brand suivent un modèle similaire à celui des cartographies nomades de Braidotti en ce sens qu’elles résistent toutes deux à un retour naïf à la sentimentalité ou à l’amour nostalgique pour préconiser plutôt un tournant vers des affects et des passions durables; un appel à l’amour comme moyen d’action qui peut réorienter le système en embrassant notre potentiel en tant que sujets féministes

Ahozkotasuna lantzeko baliabideak urriak eta errepikakorrak direla ikusi da, eta teknologia berriek ematen dituzten aukerak gutxi erabiltzen dira orokorrean. Esku artean duzun lan honetan ahozko hizkuntza lantzeko proposamen berritzaile bat eskaintzen da: web orria. Se ha visto que los recursos para trabajar la oralidad son escasos y repetitivos, y no se suele hacer mucho uso a las posibilidades que nos ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías. If we want to reinforce the use of Euskera, it is necessary to offer students an environment to practice it. The design and development of multi-agent based RFID middleware system for data and devices management

Thesis (D. Tech. (Electrical Engineering)) - Central University of technology, Free State, 2012Radio frequency identification technology (RFID) has emerged as a key technology for automatic identification and promises to revolutionize business processes. While RFID technology adoption is improving rapidly, reliable and widespread deployment of this technology still faces many significant challenges. The key deployment challenges include how to use the simple, unreliable raw data generated by RFID deployments to make business decisions; and how to manage a large number of deployed RFID devices. In this thesis, a multi-agent based RFID middleware which addresses some of the RFID data and device management challenges was developed. The middleware developed abstracts the auto-identification applications from physical RFID device specific details and provides necessary services such as device management, data cleaning, event generation, query capabilities and event persistence. The use of software agent technology offers a more scalable and distributed system architecture for the proposed middleware. As part of a multi-agent system, application-independent domain ontology for RFID devices was developed. This ontology can be used or extended in any application interested with RFID domain ontology. In order to address the event processing tasks within the proposed middleware system, a temporal-based RFID data model which considers both applications’ temporal and spatial granules in the data model itself for efficient event processing was developed. The developed data model extends the conventional Entity-Relationship constructs by adding a time attribute to the model. By maintaining the history of events and state changes, the data model captures the fundamental RFID application logic within the data model. Hence, this new data model supports efficient generation of application level events, updating, querying and analysis of both recent and historical events. As part of the RFID middleware, an adaptive sliding-window based data cleaning scheme for reducing missed readings from RFID data streams (called WSTD) was also developed. The WSTD scheme models the unreliability of the RFID readings by viewing RFID streams as a statistical sample of tags in the physical world, and exploits techniques grounded in sampling theory to drive its cleaning processes. The WSTD scheme is capable of efficiently coping with both environmental variations and tag dynamics by automatically and continuously adapting its cleaning window size, based on observed readings

Tailoring palladium nanocontacts by electromigration

Electromigration is employed in nanoelectronics for transforming narrow metallic wires into electrodes separated by a few nanometers gap. In this work, we fabricate either nanoconstrictions or nanogap electrodes by performing electromigration in palladium nanowires. The device resistance and the cross section of the initial nanowires allow us to regulate the conditions for transforming deterministically each nanowire in a specific final device. The resulting samples show unique electrical transport characteristics and could be used in multiple nanoelectronics research applications, from ballistic transport to electrodes for single molecular devices.Fil: Arzubiaga, Libe. Evaluar la calidad de la respuesta de la escuela a la diversidad de necesidades educativas de los estudiantes

En la primera parte de este trabajo se presenta de manera general el Proyecto FONDEF D04I1313, el cual se encuentra en ejecución. Este consiste en la construcción de un modelo para evaluar la calidad de la respuesta de la escuela a la diversidad de estudiantes, con énfasis en aquellos que presentan necesidades educativas especiales. La segunda parte, aporta un análisis exhaustivo del concepto de calidad en educación y la calidad de la educación desde una mirada centrada en la escuela, revisión realizada en el marco del mismo proyecto, en tanto la calidad constituye un eje central del modelo de evaluación que se está desarrollando. Muchos países están invirtiendo importantes esfuerzos y recursos para incentivar procesos de mejora continuos en las escuelas, que impacten en los resultados de aprendizaje de los estudiantes e incrementen los niveles de calidad y equidad de la educación. La dificultad de llegar a consenso respecto de qué es una escuela exitosa o eficaz, lleva a preguntarse sobre el concepto de calidad y de equidad, sobre cuáles son buenos resultados educativos y cómo identificarlos y evaluarlos, cuestiones que están en el centro del debate nacional en educación. El enfoque adoptado en el modelo de evaluación Inclusiva, considera como factores claves de calidad la inclusión y la respuesta a diversidad del alumnado, adoptando un concepto de calidad que incorpora la atención preferente a los grupos de alumnos más vulnerables, sea por tener algún tipo de necesidad educativa especial o, por estar en situaciones sociales o culturales desfavorables. Do oil and gas platforms off California reduce recruitment of bocaccio (Sebastes paucispinis) to natural habitat? An analysis based on trajectories derived from high-frequency radar

To investigate the possibility that oil and gas platforms may reduce recruitment of rockfishes (Sebastes spp.) to natural habitat, we simulated drift pathways termed “trajectories” in our model) from an existing oil platform to nearshore habitat using current measurements from high-frequency (HF) radars. The trajectories originated at Platform Irene, located west of Point Conception, California, during two recruiting seasons for bocaccio (Sebastes paucispinis): May through August, 1999 and 2002. Given that pelagic juvenile bocaccio dwell near the surface, the trajectories estimate transport to habitat. We assumed that appropriate shallow water juvenile habitat exists inshore of the 50-m isobath. Results from 1999 indicated that 10% of the trajectories represent transport to habitat, whereas 76% represent transport across the offshore boundary. For 2002, 24% represent transport to habitat, and 69% represent transport across the offshore boundary. Remaining trajectories (14% and 7% for 1999 and 2002, respectively) exited the coverage area either northward or southward along isobaths. Deployments of actual drifters (with 1-m drogues) from a previous multiyear study provided measurements originating near Platform Irene from May through August. All but a few of the drifters moved offshore, as was also shown with the HF radar-derived trajectories. These results indicate that most juvenile bocaccio settling on the platform would otherwise have been transported offshore and perished in the absence of a platform. However, these results do not account for the swimming behavior of juvenile bocaccio, about which little is known
