3D black holes on a 2-brane in 4D Minkowski space
We investigate three-dimensional black hole solutions in the realm of pure
and new massive gravity in 2+1 dimensions induced on a 2-brane embedded in a
flat four-dimensional spacetime. There is no cosmological constant neither on
the brane nor on the four-dimensional bulk. Only gravitational fields are
turned on and we indeed find vacuum solutions as black holes in 2+1 dimensions
even in the absence of any cosmological solution. There is a crossover scale
that controls how far the three- or four-dimensional gravity manifests on the
2-brane. Our solutions also indicate that local BTZ and SdS_3 solutions can
flow to local four-dimensional Schwarzschild like black holes, as one probes
from small to large distances, which is clearly a higher dimensional
manifestation on the 2-brane. This is similar to the DGP scenario where the
effects of extra dimensions for large probed distances along the brane
manifest.Comment: 10 pages, 5 figures, to appear in PL
Revisión sobre métodos de preparación, mecanismos y aplicaciones de péptidos antioxidantes en aceites
Natural antioxidants, especially those used in edible oil, are safer compared to chemically synthesized antioxidants. Therefore, research on natural antioxidants has become prevelant. Antioxidant peptides derived from food protein can effectively prevent oil oxidation. Protein hydrolyzation is widely applied for the production of antioxidant peptides in industry, and bioinformatics is employed nowadays to generate the desired peptide sequence. Furthermore, the mechanism of antioxidant peptides in the oil system is still controversial, which limits the further development of antioxidant peptides as food antioxidants. This review introduces the preparation method of antioxidant peptides and their mechanisms as well as applications in the oil. It will help to comprehensively understand the function of antioxidant peptides and promote their development in the oil field.

Sneathiella chinensis gen. nov., sp. nov., a novel marine alphaproteobacterium isolated from coastal sediment in Qingdao, China
The taxonomic position of strain LMG 23452T, which was isolated from coastal sediment from an aquaculture site near Qingdao, China, in 2000, was determined. Strain LMG 23452T comprised Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, motile rods and was found to be a halotolerant, aerobic, chemoheterotroph that produces catalase and oxidase. Comparative 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis revealed that strain LMG 23452T shared approximately 89 % sequence similarity with members of the genera Devosia, Hyphomonas, Ensifer and Chelatococcus, which belong to two different orders within the Alphaproteobacteria. Further phylogenetic analysis of the 16S rRNA gene sequence showed that strain LMG 23452T formed a separate branch within the order Rhizobiales, falling between the genera Devosia and Ensifer of the families Hyphomicrobiaceae and Rhizobiaceae, respectively. Strain LMG 23452T could be differentiated from its closest phylogenetic neighbours on the basis of several phenotypic features, including hydrolysis of the substrates starch and casein and assimilation of the carbohydrates d-glucose, d-mannose, mannitol, maltose and l-arabinose, and chemotaxonomically by the presence of the fatty acids C14 : 0 3-OH, C16 : 1ω11c, C16 : 1 ω5c and C18 : 1ω5c. The major fatty acids detected in strain LMG 23452T were C18 : 1 ω7c, C16 : 0, C19 : 0 cyclo ω8c, C16 : 1 ω7c and C17 : 1ω6c and the G+C content of the genomic DNA was 57.1 mol%. Therefore, the polyphasic data support the placement of strain LMG 23452T within a novel genus and species, for which the name Sneathiella chinensis gen. nov., sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is LMG 23452T (=CBMAI 737T)
Electron Backscatter Diffraction Analysis of the Microstructure Fineness in Pure Copper under Torsional Deformation
Torsional deformation is regarded a promising deformation procedure to prepare the gradient structural materials. Pure copper was subjected to large plastic strains in torsion. Electron backscatter diffraction analysis was used to explore the microstructure evolution. The observations demonstrate that both high-angle grain boundaries and misorientation increase with strain. The grains finer and more homogeneous. In addition, the microstructure within the shear band demonstrates a distinct preferred orientation. The crystal direction is parallel to the shear direction, and the crystal {111} inclines to the plane shear surface. A torsion-induced bar specimen includes a {011} brass texture, {011} Gaussian texture, and stronger {112} copper texture.Деформация кручения рассматривается как перспективный метод получения градиентных конструкционных материалов. Чистую медь подвергали большим пластическим деформациям при кручении. Для изучения микроструктурных изменений использован дифракционный анализ (EBSD). Показано, что большеугловые границы зерен и разориентировка увеличиваются с ростом степени деформации, зерна более мелкие и однородные. Микроструктура в полосе сдвига имеет выраженную преимущественную ориентировку. Направление кристалла параллельно направлению сдвига, а кристалл {111} наклонен к поверхности плоского сдвига. Брус, подвергнутый кручению, имеет латунную текстуру {011}, гауссову текстуру {011} и более прочную медную текстуру {112}
Improved Eavesdropping Detection Strategy in Quantum Direct Communication Protocol Based on Four-particle GHZ State
In order to improve the eavesdropping detection efficiency in two-step
quantum direct communication protocol, an improved eavesdropping detection
strategy using four-particle GHZ state is proposed, in which four-particle GHZ
state is used to detect eavesdroppers. During the security analysis, the method
of the entropy theory is introduced, and two detection strategies are compared
quantitatively by using the constraint between the information which
eavesdropper can obtain and the interference introduced. If the eavesdroppers
intend to obtain all information, the eavesdropping detection rate of the
original two-step quantum direct communication protocol by using EPR pair block
as detection particles is 50%; while the proposed strategy's detection rate is
88%. In the end, the security of the proposed protocol is discussed. The
analysis results show that the eavesdropping detection strategy presented is
more secure.Comment: 14 pages, 3 figures. arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with

The controlled teleportation of an arbitrary two-atom entangled state in driven cavity QED
In this paper, we propose a scheme for the controlled teleportation of an
arbitrary two-atom entangled state
in driven cavity QED.
An arbitrary two-atom entangled state can be teleported perfectly with the help
of the cooperation of the third side by constructing a three-atom GHZ entangled
state as the controlled channel. This scheme does not involve apparent (or
direct) Bell-state measurement and is insensitive to the cavity decay and the
thermal field. The probability of the success in our scheme is 1.0.Comment: 10 page
Quantum algebra in the mixed light pseudoscalar meson states
In this paper, we investigate the entanglement degrees of pseudoscalar meson
states via quantum algebra Y(su(3)). By making use of transition effect of
generators J of Y(su(3)), we construct various transition operators in terms of
J of Y(su(3)), and act them on eta-pion-eta mixing meson state. The
entanglement degrees of both the initial state and final state are calculated
with the help of entropy theory. The diagrams of entanglement degrees are
presented. Our result shows that a state with desired entanglement degree can
be achieved by acting proper chosen transition operator on an initial state.
This sheds new light on the connect among quantum information, particle physics
and Yangian algebra.Comment: 9 pages, 3 figure
