    PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED INSTRUCTION PADA KONSEP PENCEMARAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH

    ABSTRACTThe study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Instruction learning model on the concept of pollution to the problem solving ability of high school students. This research is a kind of quantitative research. Population in this research is student of class X SMA Negeri 1 Lohbener. Cluster random sampling technique was taken by two classes and obtained by X-MIPA 4 students as experiment class by using Problem Based Instruction and X-MIPA 2 as control class by using discussion method. The instrument used is in the form of five essay questions in accordance with the problem-solving indicator that is restricted to the C3-C5 cognitive domain that has been tested for its validity and reliability. After a different treatment, each posttest is given. Based on the result of the research, the average value of experimental class is 72.25 and the control class average 58.95. Then by using t test, obtained tcount = 4.092> ttabel = 1.680. Based on hypothesis testing can be stated that Ho is rejected. So that the problem-based instruction model influences student's problem solving abilities. Keywords: pollution, problem based instruction, and problem solving ability.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction pada konsep pencemaran terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMA. Bentuk penelitian eksperimen berdesain postest only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lohbener. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara cluster random sampling diambil dua kelas dan didapatkan siswa kelas X–MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa lima soal essai sesuai dengan indikator pemecahan masalah yang dibatasi pada ranah kognitif C3-C5 yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Setelah dilakukan perlakuan yang berbeda, masing-masing diberikan posttes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 72,25 dan rata-rata kelas kontrol 58,95. Kemudian dengan menggunakan uji t, diperoleh thitung=4,092 > ttabel=1,680, maka H0diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Kata Kunci: pencemaran, problem based instruction, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah

    Hubungan Antara Keterampilan Kerja Ilmiah Siswa Dengan Kualitas Produk Hasil Praktikum Mol Kulit Pisang

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara kerja ilmiah siswa dengan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan melalui praktikum pembuatan MOL kulit pisang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan design Pre experimental design tipe One Shot Case Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Islam Al-Islah Boarding School dengan jumlah 75 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 3 kelas. Melalui teknik Purposive sampling terpilih 1 kelas sebagai sampel yaitu kelas X-4 B dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Instrumen ini menggunakan lembar penilaian kerja ilmiah dan penilaian kualitas produk dengan model ratting scale. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan, diperoleh pada penilaian kerja ilmiah rata-rata nilai yang didapat 3,3 dengan presentasi 81% dikategorikan baik sekali, dan penilaian kualitas produk yang dihasilkan siswa mendapat nilai rata-rata 3,7 dengan  presentasi 93% dengan kategori baik sekali. Dengan demikian bahwa dalam proses yang baik akan menghasilkan hasil akhir yang baik pula atau pelaksanaan kerja ilmiah berbanding lurus terhadap produk yang dihasilkan siswa

    ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMA MATERI ALAT INDERA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INQUIRY PICTORIAL RIDDLE

    This study aims to analyse the critical thinking skills of high school students on five-senses material through the usage of inquiry pictorial riddle learning model. The type of the research used is descriptive quantitative with Pre-Experimental Design and type One-Shot Case Study. The results shows that the students' critical thinking ability were vary. Of 32 students, 50% of students can be classified into very good category, 26.5% into good category, and 23.5% students into medium category. The achievement on the five critical thinking indicators of all students were also different, in which the achievement of critical thinking indicator of giving the simplest explanation has the highest percentage of 90% (very good) compared to another indicators, building basic skill has 84% percentage (good), making conclusion 80% (good), and 60% (medium) in giving further information, in which the achievement of this indicator is the lowest compared to another indicator.  On indicator of setting strategy and tactics the percentage is 73 (good). Based on the statistical numbers above, the average thinking ability of all students in grade XI MIPA 6 SMA Negeri 1 Sindang Indramayu is 77% wich can be classified into good category

    PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR BIODIVERSITAS BERBASIS KAJIAN ETNOBIOLOGI SUKU DAYAK LOSARANG

    The textbooks used so far have not utilized learning resources to the fullest, such as the utilization of existing potential in the surrounding environment, planting values, and environmental awareness.Biodiversity textbook based on ethnobiology studies of the Suku Dayak Losarang is a product of the development of textbooks that can be used in biology learning on the concept of biodiversity.This study aims to look at the feasibility of biodiversity textbooks based on the ethnobiology study of the Suku Dayak Losarang Tribe and see the effectiveness of the textbook in biology learning in class X senior high school. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with eight stages of development models. Product Textbooks are validated by experts and practitioners using validation sheets. The validation results show that the book is suitable for use because it is good in terms of content worthiness, linguistics, and presentation. The textbook was tested on a small scale test and continued with a large scale test. The results of the effectiveness test using the different test showed that the biodiversity textbook based on the Suku Dayak Losarang was effectively used in biologylearning. Student responses to textbooks also scored high on all indicators.AbstrakBuku ajar yang digunakan selama ini belum memanfaatkan sumber belajar secara maksimal, seperti pemanfaatan potensi yang ada di lingkungan sekitar, penanaman nilai, dan kesadaran lingkungan hidup. Buku ajar biodiversitas berbasis kajian etnobiologi Suku Dayak Losarang merupakan produk pengembangan buku ajar yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi pada konsep keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kelayakan buku ajar biodiversitas berbasis kajian etnobiologi Suku Dayak Losarang dan melihat efektivitas buku ajar tersebut dalam pembelajaran biologi di kelas X. Jenis penelitian ini ialah Research and Development (R&D) dengan 10 tahapan model pengembangan. Produk Buku ajar divalidasi oleh para ahli dan praktisi dengan menggunakan lembar validasi. Hasil validasi menunjukkan buku layak digunakan karena sudah baik dalam hal kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, dan penyajian. Saran dari validator dijadikan acuan dalam merevisi buku ajar biodiversitas Suku Dayak Losarang. Buku ajar hasil revisi diujicobakan pada uji skala kecil (satu sekolah) dan dilanjutkan uji skala besar (tiga sekolah). Hasil uji efektivitas menggunakan uji t menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar biodiversitas berbasis Suku Dayak Losarang efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi. Respon siswa terhadap buku ajar juga mendapat nilai tinggi pada semua indikator. Artinya buku ajar biodiversitas berbasis kajian Suku Dayak Losarang dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati di kelas X SMA dan dapat disebarluaskan khususnya di Kabupaten Indramayu. Kata kunci: Keanekaragaman hayati, Buku ajar, Suku Dayak Losarang, Etnobiologi, Pembelajaran Biolog

    The Influence of Biodiversity Teaching Materials Based on Ethnobiological Studies on Students' Scientific Reasoning

    The scientific reasoning of students at MA Negeri 1 Indramayu is in the moderate category. Biodiversity teaching materials based on ethnobiological studies have never been applied. This study aims to determine the influence of biodiversity teaching materials based on ethnobiological studies on the scientific reasoning of students at MA Negeri 1 Indramayu. The research method used, that is, quantitative. The design of this study, namely true experimental design with the type of posttest only control design. The population of this study, namely class X MA Negeri 1 Indramayu students consisting of 3 classes with a sample of class X MIPA 1 totaling 30 students as an experimental group and class X MIPA 3 totaling 29 students as a control group. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The instruments used are in the form of tests and questionnaires. Data analysis using normality test, homogeneity test, t-test and likert scale. The results showed that the average scientific reasoning of the experimental group students was higher compared to the control group. Based on the hypothesis test value (thitung = 3.392 > ttabel 2.2002) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, that is to say, there is a significant influence of biodiversity teaching materials based on ethnobiological studies on the scientific reasoning of students in MA Negeri 1 Indramayu.     Profil Miskonsepsi Siswa dalam Materi Sistem Ekskresi melalui Penugasan Peta Konsep

    Miskonsepsi siswa dalam Mata Pelajaran Biologi disebabkan pada proses pembelajaran sebagian guru kurang memperhatikan konsep awal yang dimiliki siswa sehingga mereka sulit mempelajari konsep baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil miskonsepsi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sliyeg Indramayu pada materi sistem ekskresi melalui penugasan peta konsep. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif dan desain penelitiannya yaitu Pre-Experimental Designdengan bentuk One-shot Case Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sliyeg Indramayu yang terdiri dari empat kelas dengan jumlah siswa 145 orang.Penelitian ini  menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel Purposive Samplingdan diperoleh sampel yaitu kelas XI MIPA 4. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes pilihan ganda beralasan disertai dengan CRI (Certainty of Respon Index)untuk mengeyahui miskonsepsi siswa dan angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap peta konsep. Setelah dilakukan pengolahan data, didapatkan hasil bahwa telah terjadi miskonsepsi siswa dalam kategori rendah pada materi sistem ekskresi dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 18,8%.     Students' Perceptions about Learning Difficulties on Fungi Materials

    This study aimed to determine students' perceptions of learning difficulties in fungi material. This research method is qualitative, the population of this research is all students, totaling 199 people. The subjects of this study were students of class X MA Negeri 1 Indramayu for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 67 people. The instruments used were questionnaires, field notes, and interviews. The sampling technique used is random. Data analysis used the Likert scale and percentage technique (%). The results showed that the average learning difficulties of class X students at MA Negeri 1 Indramayu were generally in the very high category with a percentage of 28.5% and 71.5% with low learning difficulties. The biggest factor causing learning difficulties comes from internal factors, namely interest and motivation indicators 70.83% (low), readiness and attention 72.08% (low). Followed by external factors, namely the school environment 73.75% (low)

    Penalaran ilmiah perlu ditanamkan sejak dini pada tingkat satuan pendidikan abad ke 21 karena siswa harus dapat berperan seperti peneliti. Salah satu acuan dalam menentukan penalaran ilmiah adalah media alat peraga yang dapat membantu dalam pemahaman siswa dengan materi yang abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penalaran ilmiah siswa pada penggunaan alat peraga proses pembentukan urin. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan sampel 26 siswa di kelas XI MIA 3 di MAN 1 Indramayu. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan tes essay. Test essay berjumlah 8 soal, masing-masing soal termasuk dalam aspek Integrated, Advented dan Culminating. Data hasil observasi menunjukkan penalaran ilmiah pada aspek integrated skor 73,3 berada pada kategori tinggi, advenced skor 63 berada pada kategori tinggi dan culminating skor 57,8 berada pada katagori sedang. Sedangkan data hasil test menunjukkan penalaran ilmiah pada aspek integrated skor 67 berada pada kategori tinggi, advenced skor 56  dan culminating skor 52,8 keduanya berada pada katagori sedang. Dengan rata-rata hasil observasi dari tiga aspek tersebut menunjukan skor 64,7 berada pada kategori tinggi dan rata-rata hasil test menunjukan skor 56,8 berada pada kategori sedang.     Development of a Creative Manual Book for Science Youth Scientific Group

    One of the world of education components that specifically aims to develop students' creativity is the Youth Scientific group (KIR). Based on the case studies, information was obtained that KIR participants generally still have difficulty generating ideas. Some of the factors that caused KIR participants' difficulty in creating ideas were lack of knowledge and the absence of a guide to guide them in making ideas. The purpose of this study was to develop a technical guidebook for making ideas for KIR students. Products are developed through development research in a sequence of steps: Define, design, and develop. This study provides the results that the product being developed has the following characteristics: 1) consists of 2 parts, namely the formation of new cognitive schemes and the formation of product idea designs, 2) The section on the formation of the New Cognitive Schema is designed based on the cognitive load theory, 3)The product idea design section is designed based on the Creative Process Learning theory. The product developed has a score with a very decent category but needs to be given significant improvements in the aspect of indicators and the addition of entrepreneurship material and SWOT analysis
